Description:

The school teacher is coming out in me! agh! As my family has evolved over the years, children have married, have boyfriends/girlfreinds, etc., I have divorced and remarried, I am challenged to find ways to make holidays memorable and special without spending a fortune. Some of the holiday traditions we observed when the kids were young and everyone lived under the same roof just don't work anymore. Sometimes it feels like we are in limbo, waiting for something fun to happen! So... I thought it would be nice to describe to 5 partners your favorite holiday tradition. It can be something very simple or very involved--but make certain it is tried and true. Occasionally I will pick up a book with these types of ideas but I've tried a couple and they have fallen flat :+(

When you send your description, please describe the tradition in detail, including the ages of the people involved, amount of money needed (if any), space required, etc. Also, if you are inclined, please let your partners know how the tradition came about.

This does NOT have to be Christmas-related, but can be any holiday during the year. For instance, I plan to send out an Easter tradition for my favorite holiday tradition.

This is my first attempt at organizing a swap so I hope everyone will be kind and sign up :+) It's a semi-no-brainer, considering it only entails sending out the same e-mail to 5 people.
