Rules:

  • 4.5 Rating
  • 1 Card of 5 buttons (for each partner). (5 buttons make a set)

* 2 Partners

  • Hand made by YOU. (Not some you got in another swap that you don't like. Don't pass on your rejects.)

You will make a total of "2 SETS" of five buttons each. One set for each of your partners.

If you have questions feel free to ask. Once the swap partners are assigned there is only ONE week turn around so start working on them now!

The stronger clays are better for use as functional buttons (Premo, Kato Polyclay, FimoClassic, Cernit) ....Sculpey clay isn't good for making functional buttons because they can break too easily (unless they're thick rounded balls) ... but Sculpey can be OK for making decorative buttons though if they're not thin or ever stressed. ...the newest version of FimoSoft is not as weak as Sculpey, but still not as strong as FimoClassic, Premo, Kato or Cernit.

I like the idea of your swap plus the pics and smiley icons, they are so cute. They made me smile! Wish I had time for your swap I've just had to drop out of some swaps for the month of July because I have so much going on. Have fun everyone! (^_^)

Awwww.... but hey! There WILL be other ones. I promise. I love this place and I love Polymer Clay. So I plan on starting some PC challenges too. Probably after Summer. When things are calmer.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad you like the graphics. I think others will start putting them in their swaps too. It just MAKES it! (I think) I love graphics too tho.

    Sure! I almost pushed it into August but I didn't want to give a false sence of security. hahahaha

Well... I thought I was going to be ready but my lil oven got to hot and burned my second set of buttons..... rrrrrrgghhh!!!! urgggh
Oh well, Back to the drawing board.

Okay, I couldn't resist. I've never made PC buttons, but I don't know why not! What a simple idea, it just never occurred to me to do so. Should be fun, I have a bunch of ideas floating in my head. Since I'll have the oven on this week for the ATCs, might as well do the buttons at the same time, less time for the oven to be on in the hot summer. ;D

12TR21, your wonderful buttons arrived yesterday. Love love love the flower ones, even the one with a crack in it. :D (I'll still find a crafty use for that one, not to worry)

Thanks for hosting yet another great polymer clay swap. I'm having fun working with it and working on my skills in it (which are still pretty green, but practice makes perfect).
