Or here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendship_book

These FBs should be nice & neat. Please put the swap name and date on the cover or inside cover. Please also include the email address of your partner in the “Made For” inscription.

NOTICE: If you would like your partner to include anything other than your address & email address in the “Made For” inscription, please include it in the comments below.

WARNING! DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR ADDRESS IN THE COMMENTS BELOW. ONLY POST THE INFO YOU WANT ADDED TO YOUR ADDRESS. (i.e. NSW, SAHM, SNNP)

Please make sure to look for your partner’s information below. Only if there is nothing from your partner below by the time partners are chosen, may you assume that they do not want any additional information added with their address & email address.

** All FBs must include "Made [date made] via Swap-Bot.com N&N FBs"

The following rules are not just my rules, but general rules for N&N FBs.

** No plain books. All books must be made creatively and artistically with stickers, ribbons, embellishments, confetti, sequins, &/or brads.

** FBs must be in booklet form with front and back covers.

** No staples allowed on the front covers. If you use a stapler, be sure to staple the pages to the back cover or on the spine.

These rules are not just my rules, but general rules for N&N FBs.

You must have a rating of at least 4.9. Newbies are welcome.

It is highly recommended that you become a member of the “Themed FB Artists” group and if you live within the USA, join the “USA FB Makers group”.

You are welcome to join this swap without joining the groups.

This swap is for nice and neat FBs. The rules are explaining what nice & neat means. There are many swappers out there who only swap N&N FBs.

The computer writing is NOT required.

You send them all to your partner.

Generally, the cover is made with stickers, ribbons, etc.

Then, on the inside, you write:

Made via swap-bot.com [name of swap] For: Person's Name 123 Road Street City of State, 12345 Country Name [Whatever inscription they specify in the comments, if any]

By: Your Name Your Street Address City of State, 12345 Country Name [Your swapping info/inscription]

The cover is laminated with plastic or clear packing tape.

Then it is sent with the other 5 FBs made to your partner. They in turn send it on. Then, after about 1-2 years, when the book is full, it is returned to whomever the book is made "for".

You can make it for yourself simply by putting:

Made via swap-bot.com [name of swap] For & By [Your Name & Address] [Your swapping info/inscription]

Hopefully that clears it up a bit.

If the cover is made with something already sturdy (cardstock, board, etc) does it still have to be covered?

Include my address & "SNNP * 1x swaps welcome (nice & neat FBs, decos, sticker/label bags, postcards, ATCs)."

Please do NOT put my email addy in the FBs, thanks!

@evelynrose you can leave it un-covered if you like. It's no longer a requirement.
