For this swap, three of us will buy a reporter moleskine (9 x 14cm/192 sides). We will fill half ourselves then send to the next person in the circle. They will fill the second half and send to the third person to keep. This way we each end up with a full moleskine of other people's work. You can fill the pages however you wish, no rules, as they take the fun away. We have 2 months for each half of the book. Fill the first half in your own book 1 September to 31st October. Post to the next person in the circle on 1st November. A few days later you will receive a half filled book. You fill the second half and post to the same person on 1st January 2011 (or as soon as your post office is open again). A few days later you will receive your full fat book to treasure. Nevermind. Looked it up on amazon. Pocket plain moleskine. Plain pages have 192 sides, all the other ones, like watercolor moleskine have a lot less pages.

Im new to round robins so be patient please :] but two things dont make sense. 1.) why does it say that we fill our own half book from september to october, shouldnt we start on it now? am I comfused or is the plan just to do it later? and 2.) when you say "you can fill the pages however you wish" does that mean I can do random pages throughout the book or is it usually the first half your and the second half theirs? Your last comment confused me a bit too im just trying to clarify..

I haven't done that many round robins either. I am sure it is fine to start working on it now. I plan on starting some backgrounds soon, that way if I am out and see something inspirational to draw, i have a cool page premade already.

Sorry for the delayed response, I hardly ever look at a swap after assigning partners. Yes, you can start now. We were doing it for later on in the year as we had so many swaps ongoing at the moment. You can send it earlier too if you finish. I will probably have mine done lots earlier. It is the pocket reporter, it comes in plain, lined or grid. You fill the first half and post and when you receive from your partner, you will receive a half filled book and then fill it and send on to the 3rd person to keep. I always masking tape the 2nd section down so I don't forget and go into the second half. I wouldn't fill the book randomly else the person who keeps it won't know which book is yours. Jess, when you receive a book from Dani the first half will have her work in and you will fill the 2nd half and post to me to keep and you will then receive from Dani with the first half filled by me and the 2nd half by Dani.

I've changed the date as it's 12 Dec and I haven't had my book yet to fill the 2nd half so it won't be done and posted by 31 Dec!
