Description:

I love Altered Playing Cards and thought it would be fun to own a whole deck hence the idea for this swap was born!

I will hold a swap each month for four APCs. Each swap will be for a specific card from each of the suits. If you join in each of these monthly swaps after a year you will own a full deck of Altered Playing Cards.

You will need to alter each of the Eights (Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs) for your partner. The playing cards should be at least standard sized or larger. (Poker sized cards are the same size as an ATC while standard sized cards are slightly smaller. As Poker cards are difficult to find and expensive I am happy for the cards to be standard size.) Alter the cards, using a variety of techniques and/or mediums, leaving at least one of the numbers/suit markers exposed on each card. Put your details on the back just like on an ATC.

As with ATC swaps effort and consideration is required. Do not slap a sticker on a card, or do a few doodles, and call it an APC. APCs can be collaged, stamped, embossed, painted, sanded, etc. Let your imagination run wild!

Swappers with a 4.9 rating and over are welcome.

Newbies with a filled out profile are welcome to pm me and enquire about joining the swap.

To recap - 4 APCs (the Eights) for one partner.

Happy swapping!
