Description:

Here is the seconded swap in the food for the Gods. For this swap choose one Greek or Roman God or Goddess whose name starts with the letter “B” and find a recipe that uses one of the foods that they are associated with. (This includes herbs and spices) Put the recipe and a few lines about the deity that you have chosen on an 81/2x11 piece of paper (standard US copy paper size) and decorate the sheet in a way that would be pleasing to look at. An example would be Stuffed grape leaves for Bacchus with the sheet decorated with porpoises and grape vines. Be creative and have fun with the art. This can be done on the computer or by hand. The recipe does not have to be of your creation but please tell where or who you got the recipe from. Make it a food you would want to try. Have fun, be creative and make your partner smile. Don’t forget to rate. It is such a nice way to say thank you to your partner for all their efforts.

Requirements:

  1. Pick a Roman or Greek God or Goddess whose name starts with the letter “B” and find a food that is associated with them.

  2. Find a recipe that use that food as one of its ingredients ( don’t for get to give credit where credit is due)

  3. Put a few lines about your God or Goddess, the food ingredient that relates to them and the recipe on a 81/2x11 sheet of paper ( US Standard copy paper size)

  4. Decorate the paper in a way that relates to your deity

  5. Put the name of the swap and your swap name on the back of your swap or on a separate note so your partner knows who to rate.

A way to step it up a notch but not a requirement: Choose a classic recipe (make sure it has logical ingredient substitutions when ingredients are not food safe)
