Loo roll = toilet roll! =D

Howdy Dandy Lionesses, well since my last two swaps didn't take off, possibly due to timing and the fact they were not 'simple' I have decided to try again and do a simple and fun swap for starters.

So, since it is soon to be valentines day (urgh) lets (belatedly) send our partners something special and fun and full of dandy luuuuuurve.

So, take the cardboard tube from the used loo roll and fill it with 3 types of things, edible, handmade and other.

This does not mean just include 3 individual items, just three types of item. So you should pack the tube as full as you can and make it a nice little gift but you must include at least one of each of those items.

Other could be shop bought, new, second hand, something from your stash or an unwanted gift but it cannot fall under either of the other two themes of handmade or edible.

EDIT: Pack your toilet roll and then decorate the outside, leaving a space to write your message/note to your partner. You may decorate th roll however you like.

You will however wrap this up to send, maybe in a bubble envie, to keep it safe and secure since I have no experience of mailing full toilet rolls and would worry about the ends being vulnerable.

Hooray! I am excited, please join and get using that toilet paper so you can get to that roll which will become the newest and best piece of toilet surprise mail art ever! =D

I made a nativity set out of these when I was a kid. Yeah, awesome, Mary out of a toilet paper roll. I also made Christmas napkin rings. I liked crafts. Made out of free stuff I already had (Hey! I still like that!)

I was thinking - are we allowed to stuff something at the ends of the tube to close it up so the stuff doesn't fall out or should we only wrap it up to send?

Sorry, I forgot to mention sealing the ends, I would say do this however you wish but I will be avoiding stuffing anything in the ends as it will take up space, so I will probably make cardboard discs to tape over the end...any ideas welcome!

I was thinking cardboard ends too Holly :-) 'Stuffind something at the ends' as I wrote was just my bad English late at night yesterday ;)

A tip: I just found out that tea light bottoms has an almost perfect fit and will make the roll more sturdy at the same time :-)
