Yes, I did! I actually did some surgery on her prior to the trip. I put a bit more stuffing on her and redid her brooch. She has some little freshwater pearls on her brooch now. They are sewn on, and can be removed by cutting the threads if you are giving the hippo to a child who still "eats" his/her toys!
