Description:

Oh wow! Whoo-hoo, spring is soon to be here.

I hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes here, but I try to host a swap like this each year elsewhere.

Warmer days, grass greening up, trees budding, couples walking hand in hand, children playing out side and happily singing, and flowers popping up.

This is a seed swap.

Flower seeds to be exact.

Before signing up you need to make sure your state/country allow seeds to be mailed to you.

You will send your partners at least two different flower seeds types..

You should be able to identify them and share the basic planting information. There is no need to write more than a sentence or two, unless the seeds need to be babied.

Photos of the seeds you send are not needed and they do not have to be in packets.

Since some seeds are larger than others, I will say send enough to start about five plants.

They do not have to be container only seeds.

They can be harvested yourself, or store bought. You do not have to send an entire package.

You do not have to limit yourself to two types either, but they do have to be flowers.

I harvest most of my own seeds, and others I buy, so my choices will be a surprise to me even.

Please note any allergies of your partners.

You will have two partners and this is an international swap.

The growing season is getting ready to start in many parts of the Norther Hemisphere.

Please if you are sending to the Southern hemisphere, remember their season is ending soon, so try to make sure the seeds can last a few months with out getting bad.

In the envelop you should send a postcard, with flowers or flower gardening, this can be a well made handmade or store bought one and no writing on the mailing side of the card. , so your partner can do as they wish with it.

Hand made ones can be a nice drawing or fabric, or crocheted flowers or any other art form, even paper cut out flowers are allowed on the hand made ones.

I cannot tell how to rate, but I would say a heart and a five if your partner can match the seed to the card flower. And a heart if you can only plant in containers and your partner sends that type of seeds.

Pasting the seed packet on the back of a cardboard, then sending the card like that, is not considered a card. there has to be more to it than that.

(There are postcard packets of seeds, these can count as the the seeds but not the postcard or they can count as the postcard, but not the seeds.)

I have bought some from here.

Because of so many laws, no live plants, only seeds. Bulbs can be sent if you want to spend the shipping, but they should not be expected, not asked for.

And besides allergies this is a senders choice.

Newbies with a well filled out profile are welcome, now recent no sends or threes or ones. Unless there is a very good reason, and I do know life happens.

4.9 or higher, because I know some hand made cards will be very well made.

This is a slow turn around, so if you need to buy from the stores, it will give them time to get them in, at least in most of the Norther Hemisphere. Our stores start selling in the next few weeks.

Ok I have a ripping headache, so If I am confusing please tell me, and I see I went on and on, so someone can teach me how to make the same swap shorter and sweeter, but have all the elements, please.

Yes the flowers are from my yard.

It is sad that there were only two for this swap.

My partner got many seeds.

I sure wish more had signed up.
