Thank you for making this swap international. Believe me, that day had incredibly life-changing implications for me too on the other side of the planet. My life will never be the same because of 9/11.

If I handwrite my letter, would it be ok to send photocopies instead of writing it out 3 times? I know it's not ideal, but I ask because it's bound to be quite lengthy.

Papercaper, that will be fine. I'm glad you decided to take part. I for one would love to see what people from other countries were feeling that day.

Unfortunately I have to put this on my watch list for now. Hope to pick it up again closer to the due date.

9/11 had a real impact on my family, namely my granddaughter. We did not loose anyone in the tragedy but the result still left a lasting impact on my family. I am happy to join this swap.

9 / 11 is still etched in my mind, and when I think back on it I cry again. I remember exactly where I was when it happened. I was in the kitchen aftewassen. And even as I type I again almost crying. I find so much what happened. I see before me that those planes flew into the beetles. after the towers collapsed. the people who fell out terribly. I'm not even american and I'm from holland. you need to check that this has affected the whole world

I'm looking forward to writing for this swap. I was in NY on that day and the events are so firmly etched in my mind that I think I'll be able to tell my grandkids about it. Thanks for hosting this swap.

I was quite young at this time and that tragedy didn't have a direct affect on me but I do remember where I was and what I was doing... I'd love to hear what others have to say, but my memories are too short to join this swap :(
