Description:

Mar1l1ze’s Ephemera ATC series continues... with a bit of a twist. In this swap you get to play catch-up with your collection :)

This is round #1 of my Quarterly catch-up part of the swap series. In these catch-up rounds I combine all the swaps for all the groups, so you will have a whole list to choose from. I will host the catch-up round every 4th month of the series, combining the previous 3 months’ swap titles.

You will need to list at least 3 options from the themese provided below for your partner to choose from. It will be sender’s choice, but limited to your ‘wishlist’.

List of themes:

  • Butterfly
  • Fairy
  • Robot
  • Bat
  • Magic
  • Bones
  • Bird
  • Outer space
  • Insect
  • Flower
  • Dragon
  • Corvidae

For this ATC swap, you will need to incorporate these 2 elements into you artwork:

  • A piece of ephemera - music sheet, map, dictionary page, newspaper, leaflet, catalogue, matchbook, ticket stubs, clean food wrappers etc. More ephemera classifications here

  • An element chosen from your partner’s list. It can be a picture or embellishment (button, sticker, charm etc).

Use any creative means that tickles your fancy - send something that you are proud of. These should not be your only elements in the ATC - incorporate it into a more extended art piece.

Normal ATC stuff: 2.5x3.5" on a sturdy background with info on back.

4.9+ and no recent 1's or 3's to participate.

Two partners for these catch-up rounds (so shorter sign-up time, but longer work time).

Not limited to 'series' swappers only. If you want to start here, you are most welcome.

Any questions, please PM me or comment here.

I'm pretty easy - anything off the list is fine by me :)

Ok for me - butterflies, fairies, birds, magic, flowers, and dragon. Please - no insect or robot - kinda creep me out. Otherwise knock yourself out!

I would allow dictionary pages and encyclopedia pages for these swaps as well :) It's a borderline kind of ephemera for me.

I would appreciate fairy, bird or flower, please - your choice! :D (Missing all of them!)

I would love a dragon, but also need bones and a flower please :)

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

The Canadian postal system went on a full strike today, so please keep this in mind if you have a Canadian partner. Marryth is the only Canadian swapper in this swap and she was dilligent and sent out her swaps already.

Please continue to aim to send before or on the last day of the month. There is hope that the strike will be over befoer then. If not, I will advise closer to the time.

So keep calm and carry on :)
