Description:

This is open to everyone of good standing in the group! I will check profiles before assigning partners.

First...you need to take a 250ct Matchbox and decorate it in a Whimsical Woodland Theme. Think fawns, deer, mushrooms, trees, hedgehogs, squirrels, owls, etc.

Then you'll need to find the things on the list and include them with your box! Don't worry if not all will fit inside the box, it's okay! Just include them in the package!

  • Something hedgehog
  • Something Owl
  • Something Squirrel
  • Something Mushroom
  • Something Tree
  • Something Deer/Fawn

These items can be handmade as well. But only one ATC/card/postcard is allowed to be made. The rest can be a pouch, a polymer clay trinket/charm, a cell charm, a stuffie, craft supplies etc - as long as they feature the above items. There are 6 different somethings, please do not combine something, send 6 different things that feature these above!!

Get creative. Send a quality swap. Something you would want to receive, something you would be proud to receive yourself!

A nice idea for a swap. =) BTW, a sheep is not a woodland creature, lol! I once got a bunch of goat and sheep stuff for a woodland swap.

@ tiggerkitn25 LOL!!! I have a question: if I understand I got to decorate a matchbox and find/make/buy the 6 themed items, right? I love woodland creature...

Hmmm, I'd have to debate the sheep! There are two sheep who have gone "wild" in the forest near me! We sometimes see them when we go horseriding! They definitely think they are woodland creatures!!!!!

It's a shame that shipping costs keep me from doing these swaps, I love them so.. but shipping anything over 20cms high costs at the very least $7 to the US and even more internationally.. from Canada. Worst postal system ever.

Awww Jester - I can't always do just US/Can ones as I have international members too!! I do understand about the shipping costs. Shipping to Europe for US is okay, but shipping to Australia or any over that way is unbelievably outragious! I've had to slow down and pick and choose and only list a few. That's why I have Rachel help me too (she's great)!
