About Me

I am a registered nurse, mother, wife, grandmother, artist, poet, and writer. I love cats and Akitas. My angel collection outgrew the shelf, and am now collecting black & white cats. I also love old vehicle photos and paintings. The photo of me I used as an avatar shows me coming in out of the rain. I sell my original quilt patterns on Ebay and on my website. I also sell miniature paintings and regular size paintings.

Favorite Music

Willie Nelson, The Eagles, Ray Price, Johnny Cash. I enjoy Tschaichowski (or however you spell it) and some other classical music.

Favorite Movies

Young Frankenstein, Airplane, and Louis L'amor movies.

Favorite Television

The Dog Whisper, MASH, CSI, HGTV and all those remodeling shows!

Favorite Crafts

Quilting, painting, ATCs, designing quilt patterns. I also crochet. Scrapbooking is a passion. I love Victorian style and Craftsman style. I especially like getting original painting ATC's. I have enough scrapbook paper to fill a big box, but love vellum and rub-off words.

My Latest NEWS

May 2008

I am now working full time again (in a nursing home). Will have to cut down on the number of swaps I'm doing at least until I get used to it. My job involves using the computer all day so it will be a big temptation to me to get on swapbot! Must restrain myself!

About Me

I always send out my swaps. Please let me know if you did not receive something that I marked as sent! I love lavendar and grow it every year as well as rosemary. Daffodils are my favorite flower. Chocolate and coffee are my addictions, and my current favorite tea is white tea with raspberry or orange spice.
