I am married, have 3 children and live in Mississippi. My oldest has gone off to college. I am originally from Miami but have lived in Mississippi the last 12 years. My husband and I work for the government and we have lived in Miami, Washington, DC and now Mississippi. I love to knit, read and spend time with my family. My kids are all atheletes so I spend a lot of time at sporting events. I love knitting dishcloths, scarves and baby blankets. I love bright happy colors and love to see the different patterns people use. My favorite color is pink. I promise to complete all swaps I am accepted into.

I love to knit. I have been knitting for over a year now. I have made a bunch of scarves to give to my mother-in-law who is involved in a women's shelter in Washington, DC. I am currently knitting dishcloths. They are fast and fun. I recently found a charity called Knit a Square that makes blankets for African orphans and babies born with AIDS. I have started making my squares to send. I also really enjoy sending and receiving postcards.

I love to read. I read romance, suspense and historical romance every once in a while. I belong to paperbackswap and that has been great to get books and also to pass on the ones I have read. I am currently addicted to the Twilight series. My daughter started reading it and I wanted to see what she was reading. OMG!! Awesome.......can't wait for the movie.

I love the Biography and History channels. I regularly watch Criminal Minds, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer and Numbers. I am also a news junkie. (drives my kids nuts). I am currently addicted to the Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Anything soccer related, my daughter(15) plays on a select soccer team and loves anything to do with soccer, chap stick (addicted to it), recipe cards (newest obsession), cotton yarn (I never seem to have enough), stickers (I like most everything, easy to please), knitting patterns, pens, pretty writing paper, cute envelopes, anything Grumpy Bear (Care Bears), Christmas ornaments, scented candles, I love gardenia and also coffee scent, any knitting item will make me happy.
