My hobbies (addictions? obsessions?) are reading, journaling, crafting, and learning new stuff.

When I have a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, I crave dessert.

My favorite colors are dark reds, (like ruby red and candy apple red.)

I once fought a Monkee over an armrest - and won.

I love Scrabble, chocolate cake, symmetry, fountain pens, containers, and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

My house is fifteen miles from the beach and just ten miles away from my childhood home, (though I lived far, far away for a long time.) It's small-town America, where downtown is a four-block stretch of Main Street and there's always room for another beribboned dog in the parade.
