These lyrics are especially important to me as this song was my first dance song at my wedding to my wonderful husband. It sums up how we feel about each other in a way we could never express. Though I’m English, I spent 3 years of my childhood in West Texas so I’ve been a massive fan of Country music since I was 7 and George Strait was one of the first artists I remember hearing.
For a long time this was "my song". I liked Doris Day , she was my first favourite singer. Any time life was handing me lemons this song would be a life line.
