Hello there my name is Bridget and so live in Southern Maryland. I'm Married and a stay-at-home mom with two special needs children.

It's been a very long time since I've done any type of Pen Palling or Snail Mail and I'm looking forward to get back into it.

I enjoy hot tea with honey and hot chocolate on cold days and in the evening I do enjoy instant coffee with hot milk but lately I haven't been able to due to health problem with my stomach.

My favorite kind of foods are Mexican, Oriental and simple things like soup and sandwich and right now with all the problems that I'm having with my stomach that's all I can handle and most day I can't even do that and a long and complicated story I can get into with my letters.

I do enjoying baking and trying to decorated cakes and cupcakes but my kids and husbands are not into back goods. They do enjoy homemade cookies and brownies. I do back around the holidays and birthday and I do try to back birthday cakes.

My favorite colors are yellow, purple ( my hair is even purple ) and black and white mixed together.

My style in art is anywhere from dark and grungy to pretty pastels. My favorite is steampunk, day of the dead, vintage, shabby chic,

I lost everything in a family tragedy and I'm tying to slowly getting backing sending and receiving note cards and postcards especially note cards I use therm in my art journal and I like to make junk journals out of them. Right now I would like to more note card type of swaps instead postcards until things start calming down.

I have 3 cats and a new kitten and 1 dog and we are thinking abut getting a new puppy for the kids sometime after the first of the year.

I love funny and crazy socks and the same with buttons. Here are a few things I like ribber stamps, stickers ( I love 3D and jot stickers from the dollar store ) washi tape ( I don't mind the kind from the dollar store ) colored duct tape, note cards ( store and home made ) napkins, maps ( form your city, state or town ) junk mail ( from different country ) along with news papers and magazines ( from different country )

I do enjoy gardening and right now I'm not able to due to the health and we are thinking about getting a few chickens. I really do like to spend some time outside and that would be something that I would be able to do and enjoy.

I do making journals, junk journals and art journals. I'm new to art journaling and really do like mixed media only been doing for a few months and I'm not very good at it but I do have fun.
