My job sucks up a ton of my time. I still send out swaps in a timely manner, but my responses to comments will be delayed... I promise I will get to them as I usually do them in batches!
I send ALL of my packages with Delivery Confirmation (US) or with a Certificate of Mailing (international). Delivery Confirmation shows when the package was delivered, and a Certificate of Mailing is a certificate that indicates a parcel has been mailed and validated by the post office. ALL of my swaps are sent out with some sort of proof of mailing. I keep in good contact, and you will hear from me when your stuff is mailed!
I reuse packaging supplies. I would love it if you would do the same, too!
Hi, my name is judith. :)
I love crafting and making things. I adore handmade items and handmade bath products. ♥ I love pretty lingerie, garter belts, and stockings. And shoes!
I am vegan, and I love to cook, photograph, and write about what I made. Previously, I was vegetarian, but since I've changed my diet, I have never felt emotionally and physically better than I have now! Going vegan has really helped me respect other living beings, the environment, and ultimately, my body. While veganism is important to me, I know that it may not be a concern to someone else. In fact, I'm perfectly aware of it! I know that I am accountable solely for myself and respect others' beliefs accordingly.
Additionally, I believe that every single dollar spent is a vote that actually matters.
That being said, I buy fair-trade and organic wherever I can; I also tend to purchase things made domestically in the US or in countries where workers are paid fair wages. I like to recycle and reuse, too. :)
I put a lot of thought and care into my packages and crafts as well as what my partner likes. I send out things that I personally would like to receive, none of it being dollar store crap. No one likes to get junk or leftovers! I am not new to online trading, but I am considered relatively new to swap-bot.

I also enjoy reading vegan/veg cookbooks and magazines, crafting books and magazines, wedding magazines for the crafty stuff, Japanese craft books, dark fiction (Vonnegut, Gaiman, and authors in a similar vein), German Romanticism (uncanny). No Harry Potter, Twilight, Da Vinci Code, romance novels, etc.
I have an incredibly soft spot for the aforementioned artists. :)
But I absolutely, positively adore Ella Fitzgerald.
Here are crafts that I enjoy:
I also love calligraphy, but due to the time involved, I will not offer it as a public craft on swapbot.
I really love handmade! If it's made by you, and you put lots of heart into it, I will adore it!
I also love useful handmade things/accessories, so I can show it off instead of having it sit in my treasure chest. ;)
Here are some themes that I like!
That's just a guide, not a rule or anything! :)
Please don't send me trinkets or knick knacks that aren't handmade. I don't like mass-produced items that just sit and gather dust, nor do I have the space for them. Thank you! :D
Just a simple little wishlist here! I have a lot of crafty stuff in my possession, especially stuff that can be purchased from chain craft stores, but these are a few items I have a difficult time acquiring or would love to receive. :D
Again, this is just a wishlist, no demands or anything! :)
@Paralistocrat - For the mushroom stuffie swap. After apologizing and promising to send, a month went by with nothing. Sent me a half-assed sob story about why he couldn't follow through. Has been suspended from swapbot. The host was very sweet as to angel this for me.
@bubbleburd21 - For the vegan recipe swap. This one hits a bit close to home as I think it's super lame how someone who is interested in a cruelty-free lifestyle would steal from others. Told me she would resend but received nothing. Also swaplifted the host, has also been suspended from swapbot.
I love doing private swaps! If you're interested in doing a private swap, please contact me. If I have not swapped with you before, I would kindly ask that you send first.
Please check my website and my Flickr to see the types of swap I send out to people.
Also, I am pretty understanding if there is a delay when it comes to mailing out a swap. I keep in good contact with my swaps, and I really do expect the courtesy to be returned. To me, communication is the most important aspect in swapping, especially if there is a long delay. I honestly do not think that it's fair for me to chase down my swapper.
I just ask that you please be mindful of swapping because I am tired of dealing with the lies and constantly following up with my sender. Please keep in mind that I am more than okay with not receiving anything and leaving a 1 or 3 just to cut my losses, stop wasting my time, and not deal with a farcical swap.
