This is the young adult version of The Last Man. This was my most recent read for Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley's works. In my first read-through, in 2009, I found the Romanticism ideals problematic in the concept of government. The flaws of humans not taking action. My recent read in 2020 was a haunting experience. The Pandemic and trying to isolate patiently.
Her books have been an inspiration for my interests in science fiction.
