Regarding Swapping...

• I am thoroughly disappointed with dishonest swappers and flakers in general. I understand many things in our lives come up, but a quick message to let your partners know is appreciated, respectful, and an overall swap courtesy. Flakers will be posted in the Swap-Bot Flakers group.

• If you can't meet swap deadlines - do not join. If you can't uphold to the swap requirements - do not join. Don't ruin it for others who enjoy swapping, especially with no intention of sending anything. I am no longer participating frequently in public swaps any longer due to flaking and swap disappointments.

• I am putting in stricter requirements for my own hosted swaps from now on to foster a safer swapping environment. I don't give out 5 ratings based on "A for effort" as I spend a lot of time on my swaps - I have learned a lot of techniques from studying art, and selling handmade goods online and in store (see below Dislikes).

Type 1 & 2 Swaps:

• I am frustrated with those swappers who join these types of swaps (mainly electronic swaps and post card swaps) and NEVER give hearts intentionally.

• Do not join if that is your intention because you are being extremely unfair, rude, and discourteous to swappers who actually spend the time to send out quality e-swaps and flat mail (formatted nicely, photographs, decorated, suited to swap partner's profile, etc.). This means you are the kind of swapper that no one likes swapping with. Ever. Just as bad as a flaker.

• If you get easily offended by this, you are most likely one of these people, and also someone I would not swap with again.

Note...

• I do not stand for bullying, harassment, name calling, insults, or anything of the sort. There is a way to get your point and thoughts across - we are all adults here swapping (18+, if you are underage, you should not be on Swap-Bot). If you can't address issues in a professional and courteous manner, you need to evaluate yourself and take some time to learn how to be a respectful human being.

• Pet Peeve: I know we all make mistakes, but please take some time for basic grammar and spelling. For example, letters are written on STATIONERY, not stationary (that means to be still). Check out some simple tips here, and more detailed ones here.

I love strawberries + Alice in Wonderland!!

• Alice in Wonderland! Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), kawaii and Disney (vintage and new) versions. I also love whimsical art! Some examples include Coraline, the original Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland", Roald Dahl's book illustrations to give you an idea. Original artwork is welcome.

• The BoLd & BiZarrE: Cryptozoology, Dia de los Muertos, zombies, vampires, werewolves, Gothic Carnival, skeletons, Frankenstein, UFOs, aliens, brains, Tattoos & Piercings.

• Random Likes: woodland (deer, toadstools, owls, etc.), steampunk, vintage, shabby chic, still life photography, nature (bright bold colors, fantasy images e.g. water, bright flowers, altered/enhanced images), fairy tales (Red Riding Hood, Hansel & Gretel, Goldilocks), and of course kawaii variations on all of these.

• Paper Crafts: Love making ATCs, Inchies, Mini 'Zines, and Mail Art. Can't get enough of these swaps, and coming up with new ideas!

• Drinks: I do drink tea occasionally, and Orange Pekoe is my favorite! I love hot chocolate mixes! However, I do not drink or like coffee.

• Fave colors! I love black, pink, white, lavender, and aqua / teal. I also like earth tones like forest green or dark chocolate browns. I adore kawaii colors, rainbows and sprinkles; they are so cute (but I don't wear them in my everyday style).

☆ Beauty // Style ☆

• Make-Up: Commercial and handmade makeup: eye shadow, lip balm, and lipgloss. I adore lip glosses in neutral beige, nude, or clear shades, and any eye shadow color).

• Faves: Most brands from Sephora, Tokidoki, NARS, Lip Smackers (lip gloss), Kiehl's, Victoria's Secret, Bon Bons (lava lip gloss), Cake Beauty, OPI, Maybelline, Philosophy and Toyko Milk are some of my all-time favorites.

• Bath + Body: Love commercial and handmade soaps, body washes, and scrubs. I love LUSH, Sephora brand, Cake Beauty, Philosophy, Bath & Body Works, and Fruits & Passion.

• Other: I love the cute band-aids with the kawaii or Hello Kitty prints on them - the only HK exception! My favourite beauty guru is Kandee Johnson!! ♡

• Accessories! I ADORE bold rings + bracelets. I love big and bright jewelry pieces, and they don't have to be kawaii. I have big resin rose rings (in aqua and in black) to 1.5 inch round shell rings, to cute bows + resin sprinkles, to chunky bangles (in bamboo, glass, resin, metal, beaded, etc.). I wear rings (size 9) and bracelets (2 and 3/4 in diameter).

• Scents I Adore: Vanilla, coconut, cake, dessert scents. My favorite perfumes include: Tommy Hilfiger Girl, Escada Sunset Heat, Britney Spears (Curious, Midnight Fantasy), Bath and Body Works Country Chic, and Nina Nina Ricci.

☆ World // Passport ☆

• Culture! I love learning about new cultures, so anything inspired by the beauty and art of a culture. I studied 4 languages as well, and my 2 mother tongues, and would love to learn more! I have basic to intermediate communication (not including English, which is my native one). Languages include French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.

• Travel! I want to see the world one day! Places I MUST visit include Egypt, Japan, Hawaii, Bora Bora and Italy. I would love to receive newspapers, magazines, and unique little trinkets from your country. I also adore seeing your country related stamps on my mail! I am Canadian (born + raised), and I've been to:

• I love Japanese characters // My inclusive (huge) list of favorites: Sanrio characters: Cinnamoroll, Chococat, Sweet Coron, Cherinacherine, Lloromannic, Chi Chai Monchan, Pandapple, and Kuromi. San-X characters: Monokuro Boo, Rilakkuma, Cherry Berry, Mamegoma, Amagurichan, Yogurt kun, Beer-chan, and Sabo Kappa. Q-Lia characters: Smile Pocket, Tear Drops, and Candy Rabbiland. Kamio characters: Awawa Chan, Kinoko Mushrooms, and Usa-Chan Bunnies. Pool Cool characters: Strawberry Panda, all the kawaii foods, and fairy tale characters (Alice in Wonderland, Red Riding Hood, etc). Also: Smile Milk, Purin Chan, Beer Chan, Pony Brown, Lilo & Stitch (Scrump too!) also as kawaii Disney babies.

• Crafty Items: I love Zakka fabrics for button covering or sewing. I adore all cute packaging supplies from mini paper bags, doilies, and Baker's twine to kawaii deco tapes, washi tapes, and fabric tapes. I love all types of rubber stamps too (collection is going on 30+)!

• Deco Den supplies I love the super cute ones especially in strawberries, cakes, and sweets themes. Also, I make my own polymer clay items for deco den (which I also sell on Etsy), so I wouldn't mind doing a private swap for these items! They include clay cookies, candies, desserts, and sweets.

• Stationery: Totally love kawaii lettersets - would love to receive them! I adore sticker sacks, sticker sheets, memos, and kawaii stationery related items (no pencils or erasers). I love ribbon bows, lace patterns, and polka dots. I adore them in rainbow / sprinkle colors, as well as pastel shades such as cream, light pink, blue, purple, and mint.

• Plushies + Re-Ment: I adore commercial and handmade plush, especially in my favorite characters! I have been collecting them for a while and I'm figuring out a way to display them. I love kawaii squishies and re-ment too!

• Please do not send me address labels or swap cards. I have 100's of my own printed from Vistaprint.com!

• Please do not send me anything religious or spiritual. I appreciate and respect that we all have different faiths, practices, etc. and I prefer to keep my beliefs to myself.

• Please don't send me: pretty much anything else not listed under my "likes." I have a few Etsy shops and used to sell in stores on consignment. I make a variety of items already (paper goods, accessories, jewelry, plush, magnets, etc.) in which I invest a lot of time, effort, and quality.

• I know we all have stuff we don't want -- I don't want your junk either!

☛ Don't Need... ☚

• Stationery: Please do not send me brand new or opened stationery or related items unless they are required for a swap OR they are genuine kawaii brands (as listed in my "Likes" section above). So, please do not send me post-its, pencils, pens, notepads, notebooks, etc. I have more than enough generic items, and can purchase these whenever I need.

• Pet Items: I don't have any pets, so I don't need or want pet items or any related items!

• Items for Babies + Kids: I don't have children, so please do not send me any baby or kids items, clothing, etc.

• Other themes I do not want to receive: Though I love kawaii, I DO NOT prefer Hello Kitty. No baby-ish stuff either or super cutesy that were not listed under my likes such as Diddl, Nickelodeon, Looney Tunes, Bugs Bunny, Disney, etc. Please, no teacher / reward / generic stickers either.

☛ Allergies + Other... ☚

• I'm a vegetarian: I've been my whole life, (of course no meat, but who sends that for a swap? lol), so please no gelatin or eggs in food items. Also, please no feathers, leather, animal fur, etc. either.

• Sweets I dislike: I definitely don't like cinnamon candies, liquorice (all-sorts), hard mints, butterscotch, citrus, lemon, or sour candies.

• Just FYI: Though I love milk and dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut, strawberry and cotton candy flavors, please don't send any candies or treats, unless specifically for a swap.

• Scents I can't stand: Please do not send me any strong scents, especially floral, patchouli, rose, linen, coffee, cinnamon, lavender, etc.

☛ Please Keep in Mind... ☚

• Colors I'm not fond of: I don't like orange, yellow, red, or muddy or multi-colored items. Kawaii rainbows and sprinkles are okay by me.

• Fears: I do not like clowns and porcelain dolls (fear of both)! Please do not send me any forms of the related unless it is for a swap (and possibly toned down as much as possible).

NOTE:

Please no sloppy and carelessly made items, used / broken, old but not vintage, smoke smells, pet smells and hairs, animal by-products (see above) etc. All of my items come from a smoke free and pet free home. Please do not send me something you would not like to receive! I try my best to send only the utmost quality, and that includes handmade items.

• Aural Experience: I listen to mainstream (i.e. radio Top 40), rap, hip hop, r&b, ska, soca, dancehall, etc. No one song or group in particular, but not really a fan of heavy metal, country, or punk.

• I love world music! Everything from Latin to Indian to Brazilian to Arabic to Caribbean and everything in between. Buddha Bar compilation CDs are a great example the world music I like.

Way too many to name! Absolutely love Alice in Wonderland! I love fiction and non-fiction. Some of the greatest/inspirational authors to me, that I grew up reading, (and not limited to): Dr. Seuss, Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Swap // Other Information

• Packaging Swaps: Please spend some time and care in packaging your items. I have received items in ripped envelopes, and items just thrown in bubble mailers. This does not to mean to say you have to spend a fortune on gift wrapping items, but a bit of tissue paper, mini plastic bags, and bubble wrap go a long way. If your item(s) do not make it to me or are carelessly ripped/torn, I will rate down.

• A Note on Angel-ing: ♥ I have had angels and angel-ed for swaps, and I'm glad we finally got received something that we were swapping for. If you get an angel, be thankful! ♥

• RANT: I take offense to handmade items that have been re-swapped and not given credit for by the original artist. I understand sometimes these items better suit others' tastes or we grow out of certain phases/collections and pass them on. Show some respect for swappers if you are re-swapping! I have seen photos of my handmade items re-swapped and not credited. I don't know why swappers go picture posting them either. Not cool.
