I am still trying to figure out who "me" is, whenever I think I might have figured it out I realize I have changed again and need to work on it some more LOL! I am married and have one adult daughter. I love my computer and the friends it has enabled me to make - swapping is just one of the things I enjoy doing, reading is another hobby I really enjoy. I am also an avid baker and recipe collector I enjoy crafty things but it seems my muse has gone on an extended vacation :( Recently I have taken a beginner sewing class and LOVED it. I am interested in learning more and trying some patterns. I have started geocahing too and love finding small interesting things to put in for other cacher's to find.
I listen to a variety of things but mostly I like oldies and classic rock. I love TSO and enjoy musicals too!
I like to watch the Big Bang Theory (it makes me laugh something I don't do often enough!) Then of course there is Grey's & Scandal which I also enjoy.Another one I dvr is Parenthood although it is getting a little soap operish which I am not liking.
I love rubber stamping (when my muse is cooperating!) and I guess you can say I am a paper addict since I just seem to want every pretty paper I see and often have a hard time saying NO. I especially love mat stacks like Basic Grey (my most FAV!), Paper Studio and Die Cuts With a View in the smaller sizes like 6x6 or 4x6 since I use them for card fronts and layering. I have really been stern with myself and not bought new paper trying to use what I have and it doesn't even look like I made a dent in things LOL!
I am a new sewer and am enjoying practicing and making simple projects right now. I have done some table runners and pillows so far. Taking a class soon on a little hipster purse so looking forward to that. Would love simple patterns to try to follow. Also would enjoy fabrics to play around with.
*funky socks :) this is my first love LOL! but no toe socks please.
*Doodle Factory by Starving Artistamps
*brads and charms
*rik rak & ribbons - all colors and sizes!
*Glues - Tombow Brand and double sided tape mostly but am open to try most any!
*Patterned Paper (Basic Grey is my most FAV!)
*handmade items are always intriguing! Especially knit or crochet items as I can't do those crafts anymore. Would love some dish cloths, pot holders or a pair of socks and am open to setting up private swaps for them!
*hot cocoa (regular and flavored) NO coffee I do NOT drink it at all
*CHOCOLATE!!!! he he
*Pampered Chef clips
*Scents I like are Vanilla and florals, for instance I like Gardenia and Sweet Pea and I have several Scentsy pots in my home.
*I like baking so cupcake liners, cup cake toppers & decorations (especially handmade ones), mini bread loaves liners or other baking necessities.
*new to sewing so would love beginner patterns and samples as well as one on one swaps to try new things. So far I have only completed a table runner LOL! Buttons and Ribbons for sewing too would be fun.
Washi tape would be fun so I could decorate some of my stuff up at the office and make it not so boring :)
*plastic pieces parts - I don't use them and they just end up collecting dust. I am not into the big and bulky embellishments or additions.
*I also don't care much for glitter. (glitter glue ok but messy glitter - not so much- lol)
Since getting my Kindle in the Spring I have been reading like crazy! There are tons of freebies out there and I have tried many new ones I wouldn't of probably picked up otherwise.
Would really like to read the next book after Foundling it is by DC something or other LOL if you know the book I am talking about and want to swap please PM me so we can set something up!
I like Sue Grafton and have read all the way up through P.
Felicia Mason I just read Sweet Devotion - very good :) What happens next?!?!?!?
Other authors I like: Mary Higgins Clark. James Patterson, Joanne Fluke, Nancy Mehl, Carl Hiaasen willing to give most any mystery author a try
Darn I can't think of the author but they are cooking mysteries and the main character is Goldie - she is a caterer.
Really anything is fine though - I like to READ :) Keeps my brain agile LOL!

I would love to get tried and true recipes from anyone :) I am happy to set up private swaps if you want to or just trade via email. Guess it all depends if you want rated or not LOL!
I am really working on building up a good assortment of freezer recipes so I can make dinner quickly. I do short bouts of OAMC meaning I am more apt to do a 2 week version or a one meat version than a whole month at a time LOL!
I recently did a chicken session and then went and bought 5 lb of ground beef and did a mini session. So far so good! I would love more recipes to try using beef as this time the theme was mostly Mexican.
