About Me

*I do have an American address as well for USA only swaps-I will private message this address to my partners for any USA only swaps!!

Welcome to my profile! I have been really slacking on the swaps as of late-I am just getting back to it and I cannot wait to start swapping again! I work full time in human resources, I study psychology full time, I am busy planning a wedding, I own a candle company and we just found the most perfect 100 year old house so we will be moving soon! Life is crazy but its also beautiful. I love all my little jobs which makes it hard to turn things down! I also LOVE getting mail!

I ran into an amazing lady at the post office who was sending gorgeous envelopes and we got to talking and she told me about this website and so here I am! I am super excited about this-crafting and mail are my passions! ;)

I am officially a full time student of psychology! Life is busy but swapbot is still my favourite hobby!

If you feel like my swap wasn't my best-let me know! I would love to resend it! I appreciate constructive criticism if you give me a chance to make it right! Thanks :D so many talented people on this site-I will always strive to achieve the same amazing quality!

I will always always send out the swaps I sign up for-if you haven't received something let me know! stuff happens to the mail sometimes! :(

Comment: Lindsay, you'll never know how the parcel "cheered me up." Had a horrible day at work and then came home to this. I was beyond ecstatic! What a goodie box--I was expecting an envelope:) The candle smells heavenly, the stickers are cute, love the postcards (can't get over the BC bridge), I adore the rubber stamps--can't wait to use them (love the world traveler stamp :) and then I come across a Memories kit. It's like a thousand firecrackers went off inside. Never received anything like this. Thank you so very much for cheering me up:)
Response: I am so glad it arrived! and even more glad that you liked all the little goodies! I make candles and have so many different scents I had to guess at which you may like! :) I walked on that bridge in the post card- a wee bit terrifying haha and those kits are honestly my favourite, they are like Christmas morning-you never know what you are going to get! I hope you get lots of use and enjoyment out of everything!

Hi Lindsay :)

I'm always excited to find other Canadians and especially students on swap bot! I think it's great that you work at the post office. A girl I was in first and second year with worked for the post office as well, she never saw any pretty mail though (I asked 😊). I also love cats bug can't have them, my reason is allergies though but I always cuddle them when I see them!

Cheers! Samara (merrycheeza)

“However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are. It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man's abode; the snow melts before its door as early in the spring. I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheering thoughts, as in a palace.” ― Henry David Thoreau, Walden

HolisticHippieChick on Mar 16, 2015:

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms.” ― Henry David Thoreau, Walden: Or, Life in the Woods
