A quick Bio: I'm a 39 year old ball of contradiction from Kentucky now living in Texas. I've been married 8 years (almost 9) to Patrick a man I met on the internet. I have four fur children (Raven - Rottweiler, Max, Roxy - Rott/Chow mixes, Jasmine heinz 57 variety). I'm a computer programmer analyst, and I love crafts and learning new things. I love meeting people and talking on the phone. I feel I'm an open book and I try to be open minded, but I'm human and have made A LOT of mistakes. I'm bad to procrastinate sometimes as well ... I love anything crafty ... especially kits to do crafts :D
I consider my faith to be Christian, and believe in the power of prayer. I'm not here to argue or debate religion, just simply stating my stance.
My reasoning for joining swap bot was to first make friends and secondly send out little gifts/exchange gifts with others, hopefully learning something in the process.
Handmade: I LOVE HANDMADE THINGS!
last update: 08/31/2008
I have to be careful of scents, because I sometimes get headaches from certain smells ... I love candles, and if I get those scents I like the baking type scents. I actually love making candles.
I love to read romance books and mystery/suspense/thriller novels. I also like to read true crime type novels. I'm currently collecting the 'In Death' (by JD Robb so if you have any you wish to pass along, please do so) series of books. Actually anything by Nora Roberts is well received, as well as Dee Henderson and I love Nicholas Sparks as well :D
I also don't mind hand-me down books. So anyone wanting to get rid of some of their reading materials, let me know :)
I also like wind chimes (don't collect, but love to listen too). Right now I'd love to have a wind chime or two at my home (when I moved from Kentucky to Texas, I left all my wind chimes for my niece).
Trying to learn the following:
I love to read (see above for types of reading material). I think one of the things I’d like to start doing in the near future is writing a book.
I don't wear much jewelry ... but I do have pierced ears. I can’t stand anything tight against my neck and can’t wear a necklace unless it is 20"? or longer. Wrist size is about 8"?.
I love all music and listen to just about anything. Country and Pop are my favorites, but I'll try any kind of music at least once or twice :D
My favorite comedian is ROBIN WILLIAMS!!!
