So this isn't on your profile but when I saw your address, I saw that you are from KY! Me too!! :) Although, I don't think we are really close to one another which stinks. Because you seem super cool AND because I REALLY want a tattoo but don't want to just walk into a random place to get one. I bet your hands are FULL with your twins! I have a 4 year old and 7 month old and wow...I can't believe how crazy hard it is to have 2 kids. I can't imagine them being the same age! Kids are so fun, though. Totally worth the chaos! I also love Halloween and the fall. I wish the weather would get cooler here. It seems to cool off for a few days then get hot all over again. I'm ready for the crisp, fresh air. My daughter wants to be a Ghostbuster this year for Halloween so we are working hard on that :) It's been nice learning a little about you!

Happy Swapping!!

Hi there! You have twins! You must be one very busy lady!!! A tattoo shop must be a very interesting place to work.... meeting lots of different kinds of people! I am a person who sews and embroiders and you and I really do not so the same kind of crafts. I have not done any altered art....I really do not even know what it is! LOL. I adore looking at the work of digital scrapbookers. There are a bunch of blogs that I have looked at where people post their work. So interesting to see the step by step look at their creations.

Autumn is also one of my favorite times off the year, but living in Southern California, we do not see much of the changing off the seasons. I love to visit places where the leaves change colors. So beautiful.

It appears you are new to swap bot. I hope that you have a great time here. I have been swapping for a few months now and it is addicting! Take care and I hope to swap with you soon. carla louise www.ohsewaddicted.com Read and Comment on your partner's profile !

I'm LADYHIGHTOWER here for the Read Profile and comment Swap. I love cats, too, though right now I don't have any because the rent deposit is $500 per cat! I used to have 8-10 at a time.

MY favorite season is also autumn, perhaps because that's when my birthday lands. but I agree on the smells and sights and sounds of fall. nothing better!

How wonderful to be able to have your shoppe in your DH's tattoo shop! I'm sure it will be a hit! I've always wanted to have a tattoo but i'm a big chicken!

My daughter, Gracie, is thrilled with Halloween! She wants to be a vampire this year! (shudder, shudder). I'm not too hip on Halloween, though.

I love my house smelling as if I just baked, too! Apple Pie, Cinnamon Spice, Sugar Cookie, Blueberry Muffins, etc! I counted once and i have 48 different fragrance candles!

I enjoyed reading your profile! Blessings! Cathy

Hi there!

I'm popping in for the Read and Comment swap, and let me just say I'm thrilled to be partnered with another (relative) newbie :) You seem like a really down to earth lady, but I admit that the fact you manage your husband's tattoo shop makes you extra cool. I have a fondness for tattoos, though I haven't got any myself. My brother and father share themes in their tattoos and they hold special significance in my family. One day I'll get one for me, just to join the family club :) The only person who will die without ink will be my mom, and she's awesome enough that we'll forgive her for it, lol.

It's also nice to comment for someone who is relatively close to where my family lives. I'm in Germany now, but I moved here from Tennessee, not too far from the Kentucky border. Is it still hot as a mother there? I was totally unprepared for German weather. I packed for a summer of 90 degrees that lasts until almost October. Instead I got 8 weeks of 80 degrees and now it's in the low 60s. I walk around with goosebumps for most of my day!

I hope you enjoy your time on Swap bot, and wish you the best of luck with your husband's shop!

Hi Christy,

Helen here again (bluedaisy1) I forgot to mark down that my comment was part of the read and comment swap. I am sure you would have guessed but thought it made sense to just mention it to be on the safe side.

Kind regards Helen

Hi Christy, Wow you have twins that is wonderful, but hardwork. My best friends sister has twin boys a lovely gift when she was 46.... and hadn't expected it, so they are her pride and joy.

I have always wanted to get into the digital side of craft and collage but have never gotten around to it as I always get side tracked by all of the other things that I have on the go. I too love jewellery and beads, the more unusal the better, I love to buy nice one off pieces that I know no one else will have.

I love the Autumn too but I also love spring, there is that lovely new crisp feeling and the anticipation of what is to come. I love to see the little flower heads peaking up out of the earth and the lovely wet dew on the grass and the spiders webs glistening in the hedgerows, if only I was better at photography I could capture some fabulous pictures lol, but David Bailey I ain'...

We have two hamsters and two guinea pigs as pets, we used to have a dog but sadly she died of old age. I like cats, but don't have one. One of my best friends Aileen has a lovely cat called Leo a great big ginger cat who always makes a point of climbing up onto my lap whenever I go there and demanding my love and attention. I also have two twin cats where I work and if I dont remember to close my office door the little blighters will sneak in to my office and wait until I am on the phone and try and climb all over me and my keyboard lol until I can shoo them out of the office.

I like the smell of cinnamon it reminds me of Christmas, but I love the smell of Vanilla, it always reminds me of those really lovely smooth and creamy custards. yum..

It must be really interesting working in a Tattoo parlour, you must hear some really amazing strories as to why people want a certain design done, and I am sure some of them are really poignant. I caught a couple of the Tattoo programs that were on the televsion with Cat Vondee I think that is how here name is spelt, they were quite interesting. I don't personally have a tattoo, but I can understand the attraction for those that do.

I really hope your branching out into the jewellery making and selling it in your husbands shop works out for you, it is marvellous to have an avenue available to you like that.

I haven't really done any of the altered art yet, I have done more on the collage and textile front, but as I say never say never.

I will say cheerio for now and wish you all the very best in your new venture, and it has been lovely learning a bit more about you and your life from your profile.

Have a great day, best wishes Helen (bluedaisy1)

Thanks for the Kentucky postcard. Dakota really liked it a lot. It is the first postcard from your state that he has gotten.
