I am 21 year old illustrator and graphic designer, living in the south of the UK... I LOVE fabric, beads and buttons! >_<

If you are sending me a swap and you are from a country other than the UK, could you pleeeease add a bit of your country into it? I really love learning about other countries cultures, fashions and traditions.. and would adore to receive something little that I couldn't get in the UK, e.g. a Japanese pop-up card, unusual buttons or fabric that is typical to your country. ^-^

I love the edge chronicles by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell... If I became even half as good at illustration as Chris Riddell, I'd die happy :)

Lost and Heroes! Love a bit of Casualty and Holby city! (but alas! can not get a tv signal where I am! not even on a freeview box)

Plushies (designs made mainly from felt) I LOVE BUTTONS! They are so useful for any craft... I personally love using them for eyes on Plushies...

I love anything bright. I love childrens illustration and I am forever making plushies, sock monkeys, pillows, quilts and other child-like objects. I am an illustrator and graphic designer and I am forever trying to find ways to bring textiles into my work. I LOVE MUSHROOMS, STARS, HEARTS, POLKADOTS and STRAWBERRIES... anything bright and childish. I love Japanese fabric, eg Hello Kitty.. because it is so hard to find in the Uk, especially where I am! I am a bit of a vintage chic and also love my mustard yellows, deep greens and royal blues for jewelry and clothes-making.

I wouldn't say I 'hate' but I really don't like fabric with realistic images on them.. eg, cats or dogs or people. I just love bright fabric I can make my own creations from :) I also love homemade jewelery or hair accessories :)
