I'm a husband to a warm and wonderful wife, and father to 4 beautiful daughters. My wife is an artist & photographer. I enjoy dinner at the family table and bowling with my wife and kids. I also bowl on the Special Olympics Unified League and an Air Force league with my wife. I'm especially fond of a thick slice of rhubarb pie and a steaming cup of black coffee. I like d.i.y., canoes, fishing and camping, old Honda motorcycles, and shooting. Although I appreciate technology, I miss the personal nature of handwritten cards and letters and love getting mail. I've been serving in the US Air Force for 19 years and am currently working as a nurse recruiter.

My current favorite group is Dropkick Murphys, but I have eclectic tastes that cover a range of music from bluegrass to 70's & 80's popular music to big band and everything in between. I like old school rap, but am waiting patiently for the end of the current hip-hop craze.

My all time favorite film is How Green was My Valley. I'm a sucker for a movie where the underdog overcomes great odds: Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Seabiscut, Rocky, and American Flyers. Classic "guy movies" like Scarface, Dirty Harry, GoodFellas, Spartacus, and Master and Commander. Some old favorites are Boy's Town, It's a Wonderful Life, and Paper Moon.

I really like The Office, House, and any of the crime and punishment shows on the tube, CSI, Law and Order, NYPD Blue. I grew up watching the same type of shows: Adam 12, Cagney and Lacey, the Rockford Files, Hill Street Blues. I guess you never grow out of some things.

I don't have one or two favorites. I like nearly all crafts and enjoy creating things with my own hands. I'm especially fond of woodworking, papercrafts (origami, bookbinding, etc.), knitting and crochet, and leatherwork (although I haven't done it in years). For me, the satisfaction isn't necessarily in the craft, but in the craftsmanship.
