35 years old, originally from the UK but now living in Dublin in Ireland. Married for 6 years and have a 5 year old son and one very pampered cat who has decided that the house is just too warm to leave now. Trying to juggle family life, working, studying for a masters degree and finding time to do some crafts!!

I love poking around in stores looking for little bits of craft supplies to add to my craft box.

Things I like: cat ornaments, small boxes, chinese and japanese, hand made jewellery, stickers, cute notebooks, nice paper/card (getting addicted to ordering from the scrapbooking stores), candles, unusual fabrics, small odds and ends that can be used for crafting (i.e scraps of paper, buttons, ribbons, material etc. One day I will find a use for all the little scraps I have!). Prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate.

Favourite colours midnight blue, purple and autumn shades.

Favourite books: Mystery/thriller, chick lit, real stories (the stories of people, usually who've faced some adversity), Harry Potter books, Artemis Fowl books, fiction with a weird title (it always makes me at least pick up the book to see more).Most things really as I do pick up most sorts of books if they look good.

Authors: Anne Rice, James Herbert, Jonathan Kellerman, Jodi Picoult,James Patterson, Harlan Coben Favourite book ever: Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. If you haven't read it pick up a copy.

Don't like anything too flowery or girly, white chocolate, anchovies, olives and honey! Not really into make up.

Go through phases of listening to my ipod every day on the train and then not listening to it for months!! Fairly broad tastes, like most pop and rock stuff.

Been neglecting my crafts lately but this year I'm going to make time for myself and start again. I Enjoy silk painting and cross stitch and try to do some crafts with my son most weeks.

This year I'm intending to have a go at beadwork, collage, ATCs, watercolour painting and maybe weaving. Sounds like I'm going to be very busy!!
