My name is May..I'm a 27 year old nurse who lives with my husband of 5 years, Will, our three cats (Gratch, Bruce and Wendy) and our big dumb dog, Lucky.

I work night shift in a local hospital. I try to get my swaps out on time, but sometimes thats a problem when you have one day off and its not really a day off. I will ALWAYS PM you before I send late.

My favorite colors are blues, greens, teal, turqouise, black, hot pink, purple (especially dark purple). My favorite combos: red/black; teal/purple (I have three nautical stars on my arm that are those colors); pink/purple and mostly anything else and black lol.

I love anything that is dark and scary. I'm talking about haunted houses, abandoned buildings, urban landscapes, haunted and abandoned ruins and castles. I also love architecture, especially Victorian, Tudor, Edwardian and Gothic. I love photographs in infrared...I also love Victorian tintypes and "death pictures" where they took pictures of the people after they died. I love to search thru antique malls and find weird creepy things like hair brooches...I want to learn to do paranormal research because I beleive in ghosts..All living things are energy, and energy can never be destroyed, but only changed into a different form...I don't believe in God, but beleive in the existence of the forces of nature. They are all around us, I just don't believe that God created them...I'm a scientist at heart, and am very logical and rational, but I admit there are things we cannot and will not ever be able to explain with science...But, here's my dichotomy, I am very interested in the Pagan mythologies, and have been since I was 14. I'm interested in the psychology of serial killers, why they do it etc.

I love books. Period. All kinds of books, except romance (exception to this rule: Twilight). I am usually into pulp fiction, vampires, fantasy etc. I read the occasional nursing magazine, but seriously try to stay away from those!

Currently I'm reading all kinds of ghostly books. I love Halloween :) One note: I am obsessed with Twilight (am currently reading it for the second time). Please, don't hesitate to send me anything with Edward on it, lol. I have a very unnatural crush on the undead...I love vampires!! :)

Batman: The Dark Knight; Grindhouse; The Nightmare Before Christmas; 30 Days of Night; Jurassic Park; LOTR; Narnia; The Shining; Jaws; Rob Zombie's Halloween; Pulp Fiction; Kill Bill; Natural Born Killers. I went and saw Twilight at the 12:01 am premiere...It was so much fun! Even standing in line in the cold! I didn't care, I just had to see Edward (Rob)..It was so good, I really loved it...Even the low budget special effects, I didn't care! I can't wait for New Moon!

Ghost Hunters, GHI, True Blood, Deadliest Catch..

I watched that show "Ghost Adventures".....meh. After watching Jason and Grant, its just crude. I mean really, do you need to charge into a place and start yelling at a spirit to interact with you? I mean if I was dead, I'd be pretty pissed if you did that. Sorry, just a rant of mine. I am EXTREMELY interested in paranormal research, and how can people start to take the field seriously with idiots like that running around? Ugh. /rant
