Swap unto others as you'd have them swap unto you ◕‿◕
♥♥♥ I joined swapbot in February 2007 *
On Flickr I am nani_ani
I believe ratings are important so I try to rate as soon as I receive and while we all have good intentions I sometimes slip up. If you think it has taken too long I don't mind if you jog my memory with a gentle reminder pm. ◕‿◕
International mail can have many holdups along the way and more time is sometimes needed if those snails are taking the scenic route. It can take 4 days or 3-4 weeks.
If your item is later than 4 weeks I will contact you before rating but not if you are already receiving 1's. I would appreciate the same consideration in return.
I give lots of hearts but not just because of the extras. Even email swaps where a lot of thought and effort shows in their content or presentation can be considered heartworthy. My rating is not influenced by the extras you send, they are appreciated, certainly, but don't feel compelled to send them if you don't have them .If I send extras please don't feel obligated to give a heart. I do it only if I already have something that I think you might use.
When posting to me please don't put my user name on the outside. Thank you.
POSTING MAIL TO AUSTRALIA Australian Customs Information
I am a retired teacher and crafty grandmother living in a small country town where we collect our mail from the general store. I work at two jobs. I get to travel to far corners of Australia with my husband and his work. Most trips are only for 2-3 days so I am not away for long periods of time.
I have introduced quite a few friends and family to swapbot. I do not take responsibility for their swapping habits.
NOTE About POSTCARDS : I enjoy unique or unusual postcards and any that make me smile. My favorites are art postcards. Artists from your local area would be wonderful as would handmade postcards that you or someone else makes. I've just discovered recipe PC's and would love those also. I like bright and cheerful colours but that is not a requirement. If they are hand made some may be better in an envelope to cope with long distance travel regardless of swap requirements but that's up to you and how you feel your card will survive .
( I won't rate down if the swap says send naked and you put it in an envelope ) ◕‿◕
Any size is fine too.

MY UNFAVOURITES
Please don't put my username and swapbot information on the outside of envelopes and packages.
I would prefer not to receive.....
→ Halloween items
→ Skin products & strong perfumes... I have skin allergies .
→ Snowmen
→ Clowns
→ Disney characters
My grand-daughter would like to swap so I am looking at joining a some swaps for kids.
She is 10 and loves all things that creep, crawl and are generally slimy such as snakes, lizards, frogs, worms and bugs.
As pets she has lizards chickens and a cat.
Fave colours are blue and black.
She loves swimming, drawing and collecting bugs.
Any thing romantic but not erotic that takes me away to foreign places .
A lot of my collected books are Historical & Geographical as well as craft.
Would rather spend time crafting than watching TV ! *

CRAFTS
I have dabbled in most things. Right now I enjoy watercolour painting, handmade postcards, chunky and not so chunky pages , making altered books, journaling , mixed media art and experimenting with plastic shrinkies .
I knit and sew and enjoy using felt.
I have a large collection of craft books and I would like to work my way through all of the great ideas but alas there are just so few craft hours available in any day .
