I love that community. IDK, why but it's just something a purseaholic like myself, loves to look at. ;) You can check out the community at: [Inside My Purse](http://in-my-purse.livejournal.com/).

Send your 3 partners:

- A picture of your purse

- A picture of it's contents, lay it all out so it can be seen (cover up anything that's personal & shouldn't be seen - You can black stuff like this out in a simple paint program if need be.)

Explain the contents of what's in your purse if you'd like. Send these as an attachment or you can upload them to [Imgur](http://www.imgur.com) & just send the links to the pictures. Rate once you recieve the email & see the pictures.

Please do NOT join this swap just to boost your ratings. If your a flaker / questionable swapper you will be banned. =)

PC from tourist sites #1

A very simple swap

When you travel abroad, souvenir shops always attract your attention and inside the shop, you can easily find postcards that show you the touristy scenes of the country.

In this swap, each of you are going to send 3 postcards with touristy scenes.

Could be multi-view or single-view, it's up to your partners' taste.

Must be store-bought, written and stamped. Naked or not is your choice. (Check out your partners' profile for more details)

No Ad/poster/photo card, No handmade. STORE-BOUGHT only.

The postcards you are sending do not have to come from your own country or city.

` No flakers.
` Always send postcards on time.
If you haven't received a card from your partner, TALK before rating.

I take my knitting to coffee shops and frequently pull it out on the bus. This brings me to my travel kit and knitting bag lust. I know I'm not the only one, so I thought I'd put together this swap for others who enjoy stitching on the go.

For the swap, you will select a travel knitting bag worth at least $20 USD. It can be store bought or homemade and slightly used is fine as long as it is in good, like new condition. This is the main point of the swap. If you're planning on making the bag you will send, make sure that is is sturdy and able to travel. If it's a knitted or crocheted bag, please take the time to line it.

Then, you will add something nice to the bag for your partner to enjoy. Here is a list of ideas for the surprise portion, please include at least three additional items.

- Notions: Needle gauge, darning needles, measuring tape, stitch markers, ect.
- Notion Case/Pouch. I've seen some pretty rad ways to do this; altered Altoid tins, coin pouches, use your creativity and make it fun.
- Yarn cutting tool. Think beyond regular scissors; puppy snips, the necklace/keychain cutter deals, fancy tiny yarn snips.
- A memo book for keeping pattern notes.
- A stitch/row counter.
- A small knitted/crocheted item.
- A nice skein of yarn.
- Pinback buttons related to fiber arts.

In total, you should plan on spending at least $25-30 USD on this swap. That said, pulling things from your stash is completely acceptable and encouraged, but make sure it is something nice that you would like to receive. You will have one swap partner and this is senders choice, but please try to include things your partner will enjoy.

Sorry, no newbies. You must have a 4.8 and no recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. You must have at least 20 type 3 swaps under your belt. I will be going through profiles before assigning partners and will ban any questionable swappers.

I love making postcards bc they give you more room to work than ATCs do - (although I do love them too).. so for this swap you will:

* Make ONE HANDMADE postcard for ONE PARTNER

* Make it SENDER'S CHOICE - although it's always a good thing to check out your partner's profile for ideas - but it's still SENDER'S CHOICE.

* Make it with a Kawaii theme - think food with faces, hello kitty, choco cat, Rilakkuma, etc but no Disney, Diddl, or Looney Toons.

* Make it sturdy by backing it with cardboard or laminating it (prior to adding stamp) - no flimsy cards please!!

* Please mail it NAKED - meaning NO envelope.. with a little note written on the address side.

* No recent OR MULTIPLE 1's or 3's... NO exceptions.. If you have these and you sign up you WILL be banned from the swap ..

* Newbies accepted on a case by case basis with a well filled out profile and a link to your work on a site like Flickr or your blog

* NO STICKER SLAPPING - you MAY use stickers BUT please do not slap stickers on cardstock and call it done.

* I reserve the right to ban anyone that seems fishy - and if you flake on any of my swaps you will NOT be welcome in any future swaps

*Please feel free to ask any questions you might have (preferably before partners are assigned. I do plan on this being first in a series of kawaii postcards with perhaps more specific themes.. keep watching for them!!*

And consequently lots of scraps? Do you make scrappy quilts, bags or Teesha Moore style patches? The first round was a success so let's do it again!

We will swap scraps. One fabricaholic's trash is another one's treasure. Fill a 6" x 9" envelope with clean fabric scraps, no smaller than 2" x 2". You can use a manilla envelope or a bubble envelope.

Try to pick 100% cotton fabric, calicos, batiks and look for bold, bright colors.

Any questions? Ask below and have fun scrapping!

OSW- GREEN

For this swap you will send your partner 5 flat-mail green things.
For this swap you will have one partner and you will send an intro letter to them. It should be at least one page long. It doesn't have to be on fancy paper or anything like that. Nice and simple, just to get a new pen pal.

Continuing to pen pal is up to each individual and not required.

You must have a 4.9 rating, this goes without saying but no flakers.

Serial PC Swappers - Week #52

**Week #52 Theme: Building(s)**

For this swap series, you'll have three (3) partners, whom you'll send one themed PC each. Every week there will be another theme given.

This week, send a postcard of a building (or buildings) - touristy or artistic is up to you (though you could always take a look at your partners' profiles).

This PC can be store bought or nicely handmade and should be sent stamped and written on (naked).

Please no recent unexplained 1s or 3s or ratings less than 4.93. Newbies may join but need a properly filled out, detailed profile.

Hopefully it won't be necessary, but if anyone is flaked on, I'll be happy to angel. Be sure to contact me if you don't receive your swap.

Please message me with ideas for themes for future swaps!

Happy swapping!
