I really love making ATC's and I thought to myself why not make a swap for boys and girls. You will have 2 partners you will make 2 ATC's for each partner so that's a total of 4. One boy themed and one girl themed to each partner. Be creative and and don't just slap a sticker on it and call it done. Stickers are fine just make sure it would be something you would like to receive. Newbies are welcomed and please no 1's or 3's in the past 6 months. I will be checking profiles and will ban people if I need to. If you have any questions please feel free to message me.

Have fun!!!

We will have 3 partners that we will send one card. They can either be handmade cards or store bought.

I am setting the dates out a little bit but still early enough so that those in other countries will receive their cards before Christmas.

This swap will be senders choice, although try to pay attention to your partners profiles.

A Rainbow in My Mailbox

Hello Swappers!

I love to receive random surprises or acts of kindness in my mailbox and it's always fun to have a few things to paw through and admire. That's the reason for this swap ... to bring a little joy to someone's day.

This will be completely sender's choice, but, hopefully we'll all check the profile of our partners to find likes and dislikes.

In this swap we will be sending a rainbow of items to 2 partners. The package can be as uncomplicated or as elaborate as the sender chooses. The idea of this swap is to send something representing each color of the rainbow to our partners.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet

Now, it doesn't have to BE that color ... it just has to represent it to you. And I love handmade stuff, so the whole package could be handmade or store bought or a mix and match of it all. The main concern here is to have FUN!!!

Red could be: red lollipops or it could be something that smells like cinnamon (I assosiate red with cinnamon because of fireball jawbreakers). Or it could be something you love (red being the heart) or strawberry flavored lipgloss. Do you get the drift?

I'd like each of you to tuck a little note in along with your swap to explain your choices and what things represent what colors and why.

Sound like fun? Let's all have a good time with this.

I'm not going to post a required rating ... everyone deserves a chance at redemption as far as I'm concerned. If you flake on my swap, you will be banned from any of my future swaps regardless and I plan to be very active in this community and I plan to come up with some really fun and creative swaps.

I will angel this swap.

There is no monetary value placed on this swap ... smiles are free and I hope everyone will join in the nature of the swap and anticipate the smile their package will bring.

All right ... let's have some fun!

Questions?

Map postcard swap another one

Map postcards are my favorite to collect and I especially like getting them clean and unwritten in an envelope. I know many other collectors prefer this as well.

So I've added another swap! You will send 2 map postcards unwritten and in an envelope to 2 partners. The map postcards must be store bought. They can be any kind of map...state, country, regional, city, etc. The can be different or the same card that way your partner has one to keep and one to send later.

So to re-cap you will be sending 2 map postcards to 2 partners for a total of 4 map postcards.

If you are looking for certain US states or countries. List them below for your partner to see!!!

Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile (this means I want to see more than a few lines written about you) and all others with a rating of at least 4.8 and no recent ones.

Cards should be drawn, painted, digital, digital embellished or collaged-no stickers unless they are part of a larger composition-standard size ATC 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 and I;m going to limit this swap to the USA and Canada for this one-we'll see how the outcome is and then if there is enough interest we can expand and do an international swap.

This isn't about sex its about people-pls keep your cards pg rated and be careful about stereotypes and sexist slogans---one card per partner for 3 partners---thats 3 cards they can be alike or different but keep them upbeat, happy and inclusive and accepting.

NO ones or threes unless you have a real good story-I will angel if nesscry-PLEASE do not flake and please haters stay far away---the art community is full of all kinds of people its time we started coming together instead of being devisive OK?

Questions PM me please...no late swappers---I;m giving you lots of time...

Winter Solstice/Yule Card Swap

There are many Christmas card swaps but I could not find a swap for those of us that celebrate Winter Solstice and/or Yule.

Winter Solstice will be on December 21 this year at 17:47. It is the shortest day and longest night of the year. Many who celebrate Yule do so on the Winter Solstice, and there are some that celebrate Yule for 12 days beginning on the Solstice.

Winter Solstice means many different things to different people, lands and religions so I will leave that up to you as to what facet of the Solstice you wish to show when you make or buy a card for your partner. I think this is a great way for you to share your solstice traditions with someone else. At my house it is the day that we put the bird feeders back out, among other things.

You are welcome to send a handmade card, as it is difficult to find Solstice/Yule cards in just your regular stores though there are many different online places you can buy them such as:

wintersolsticecards.net
faeriecards.com
zazzle.com
rossettidesigns.com

and many more, perhaps even off ebay, though I haven't checked there yet. There are so many really gorgeous cards out there, in my opinion they are much prettier than the normal Christmas cards one receives and sends.

You'll have 3 partners. If you have any questions please let me know.

No recent 1's or 3's, if you have any please PM me to explain. I will ban if necessary. Also, newbies welcome with a filled out profile. We were all newbies once, so I welcome them in the swap - but remember the simple rule: don't flake!

That one recipe that everyone always wants you to bring?

Share that recipe with 3 partners.

It would be nice to put it on a cute recipe card with maybe a little note about the history of the recipe, where it came from, has it been handed down, did you make it up yourself? If you don't have recipe cards, please type it up nicely.

Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile.

I reserve the right to ban any 1's or 3's in the past three months. If you feel you have been unfairly rated, send me a message.

Please don't send recipes for the stand bys like green bean casserole, or sweet potatoes with marshmallows, unless you really have a unique twist on it.

Please don't sign up if you don't really want to send out a recipe, an empty mailbox means a sad swapper!
