Nothing sucks more than putting a lot of time into a long letter and never hear back from the person or receiving a one page memo in return. Please only join this swap if you are interested in gaining long term pen pals.

For this swap you will send your partner at least 10 handwritten A4 pages. Please do not write big to intentionally fill up the pages. Sorry but no unrated swappers and no unexplained 1 or 3 within the last 6 months.

✉ Envie With A Challenge #4: Transparent

Hello flamboyant mail art div@s! Do you, like me, love making envelopes but after 20 plain and easy ones you get bored? Why not try a challenge? I will give you a task and then you will interpret it as you like!

Challenge #3: Transparent

That's it! This time the envie will be transparent! They say, what matters is on the inside, so save the sparkle and color for when it's time to fill it up. Make one transparent yet sturdy envelope (use plastic film, see-through paper etc.) and send it to your lucky partner.

Inside the envelope send something nice and visually appealing because, obviously, an empty transparent envelope is like a bowl full of nothing for dinner! I will not set a price limit, but keep in mind that you only have one partner and it's more about the whimsy and smiles than a craft store mini-haul.

They can be any medium from Hand Drawn or Painted, to Collage, Digital Hybrids or Stamped. Your Rolos must be Vintage Inspired but this swap is Sender's Choice and do not need to be based on your Partner's profile preferences.

Ok....if you LOVE...LOVE...LOVE your slow cooker and LOVE...LOVE...LOVE the delicious aroma of Slow Cookery goodness filling your house then this swap's for YOU!!!

Step 1: First you will need a composition book with at least 40-50 pages. The black & white composition books that measure 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" are perfect. The pages don't tear out easily and the pages are a good size to have enough room to write complete recipes on without being crowded. Sooooo......run out and buy one of these journals and if you prefer, you can cover or decorate the front and back any way you want to. On the inside of the front cover write the name of the swap (Slow Cookery Recipe Journal), your real name and your username. Then on the inside back cover write your name, mailing address and a note to please return the journal home to you when it is full.

Step 2: Now, at the top of the first page write "Table of Contents". Leave the 1st 3-4 pages blank for everyone to list their recipes as they write them in your journal. Now it's time to start adding recipes:))) Write 5 of your favorite slow cooker recipes. Only write on the front of each page.....PLEASE do not write on the back of the pages unless it is to finish up the recipe instructions of the recipe on the front of that page if you run out of room on the front. As you write your recipes, write the page numbers (1,2,3,4,5) in the top right hand corner of the page and circle the number. Also list each recipe with corresponding number in the Table of Contents. Hopefully in the future your partners will follow suit so that when you receive your journal back you will have a nicely organized recipe book:)))

Step 3: Now pack the book up and ship it to your partner. In the next round and all subsequent rounds you will write 5 recipes in the journal which you received from the previous round and will mail it to your assigned partner for each round.

If this is not your first time participating in this swap, just take the journal your partner sent you in the previous swap, add 5 recipes and send it on to your partner....and round and round we go:)))

SWAP REQUIREMENTS: You MUST have at least a 4.98 rating with no '1' or '3' ratings within the past 3 months. If you do not intend to follow through with this swap obligation then ....PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP!!!

Paper clips!!

This is my very first swap! I'm excited to see how this goes!

So this swap will consist of, you guessed it, paperclips! You'll send your partner at least 5 different types of paperclips. And not just plain old paperclips. The kind of paperclips that are shaped like flowers, animals, hearts and the like.

Postage shouldn't be very much and you'll be able to mail them in an envelope.

No regular paperclips please. And no bent or broken clips.

All mediums and abilities welcome!

You will be making one partner an ATC card related to the theme: People in Love. What you choose to take away from those three words is completely up to you! Express yourself! :)

In addition to the ATC, you should include a note and a small tuck-in or two that you think will make your partner smile, which could be: some stickers, a postcard, something handmade, a bookmark- any small item that you think would brighten your partners day! Everyone loves some happy mail every now and again! :)

I'm looking forward to this ATC series being fun for everyone. To prevent flakers, since I am unable to angel, the rating requirement will be 4.85 and you must have completed at least 5 type three swaps. If you think the rating is too low, you can ask me to change it. If I notice recent 1's or 3's I will remove you from the swap. Sorry for this, but I want to ensure that everyone receives one of these happy packages! I'm sure it will be fun- happiness and love in one package!

If anyone has other questions feel free to ask me! Happy Swapping! :)
