Comment: Cool postcard of Forks and the red truck! It will be a fun card to get back all filled up. I'll get it moving along in the next round. Sincerely, Alma PS Thanks for the homemade envelopes, too. I will definitely use them. Hugs.
Comment: The Spearow ATC is adorable! I love the crocheted snowflake ornament, too! Thank you so much! I'm sorry it took so long to rate; I ended up accidently hiding the envelope from myself and only found it again recently.
Comment: What an absolutely lovely parcel to receive. I so enjoyed how you wrapped the items and the obvious thought put into this swap. I especially love the frog. Thank you and have a most wonderful day.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely ATC! I’m impressed. You really did a great job on this and it was admired by several guests I had here last week. Maybe it also tempted a couple of people to start making ATCs to collect and trade! I’m happily adding this to my collection album ❤️
Comment: Thank you for the tag and envelopes... you envelope was split open most of the way along the bottom so I got one tag with Santa & HoHoHo and two envelopes, but that’s it, I figured it was you from the address label and since this was my only Christmas themed swap!
Comment: Thank you for the cute ATC! I particularly like the envelope it came in. By the bye, I saw this crochet artist, Yulia Ustinova, and thought of you. Do you know of her? ~~~
Comment: Thank you so much Debbie for the gift ! I have tucked it into my stocking till December. Will see how long I can hold out though. So far so good however, since started receiving gifts since January & have left those alone so far, lol !
Comment: Thank you for the amazing package! So much to love! I especially enjoy the purple unicorn tape dispenser, which will come in really handy! And bath salts are always appreciated, especially at the end of the semester, when I need to relax!
Comment: Love the Texture of the Dishcloth and the Color is just right for Spring... past 2 days we have had snow and it melted off yesterday afternoon..What a Cute way to send a note/swapcard... Wish I could curl up and take a Nap with the Kitties..! ! Thank you for the pattern too.
Comment: Love the Yellow which is the same scrubbie Yarn I used for the Swap. I made a round one like yours with a Rust color cotton scrubbie Yarn and Pink Cotton yarn and used the Yellow with Lime yarn in rectangle. thanks for the Patterns... Thank you for joining the Swap..!!!
Comment: Received your package today. Thank you thank you thank you for making this pattern for me. Especially in the color & yarn I love! It is beyond beautiful Debbie and you did such a wonderful job making it for me! I love it so much! Can't wear it today. Which makes me disappointed. As it got up to 57 degrees. But tomorrow I can & can't wait! I will wear it proudly!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful mask! It's so handy that it's reversible. The material is also very pleasant. I appreciate it so much :) I hope you receive mine soon, I''m getting a bit worried :(
Comment: Oh my!! What a wonderful swap I received from you!! I love everything! You know my love of dogs, I appreciate that! The postcards are gorgeous. I needed the envelopes, what a great swap. Thank you!
Comment: I love them!! I never owned a pair like these. ANd hey are special to me because you made them, how kind and considerate, you made my day after working two jobs and coming home tired. your gift lifted me up! Thank you so very much
Comment: Warm Winter Greetings,
Thank you for this neat swap, hosting it, the beautiful crocheted snowflake, and too cute decorated envie.
I have been away from home since Thanksgiving, so it was like Christmas to open up all my swaps.
Merry Christmas Blessings
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card and the wonderful snowflake that you made. That was so thoughtful of you. I have put it on my tree and it will be part of my ornaments every Christmas.
Comment: Hi Debbie! Thank you for your Christmas Pc of Chevy Chase in National Lampoom's Christmas vacation & your list of movies! I love a lot of the same ones you do. Esp. Rudolph & Charlie Brown Christmas. Thank you very much for joining my swap.
Comment: Hi Debbie, Thank you so much for the beautiful crocheted snowflake! I will treasure this ornament and will be placing it front and center on my Christmas tree this year. ♥️ I also love the Christmas card.
Comment: Hello Debbie, thank you for the wonderful variety of note cards! I loved them and can't wait to use them :) I also very much appreciate you using awesome vintage stamps! Wishing you the best in this crazy year as well! Much love!
Comment: Thank you! I got three postcards and one address sticker for future mailings... I'm letting you know because the envelope was open/coming apart at the side and the bottom :( so hopefully things didn't fall out along the way! I love the postcard for Dead Man's Pass - I actually grew up in that area and know exactly were that is! Thank you again!
Comment: The Pidgey ATC is too cute! The envelope is really cute, too! I really appreciate the address labels that you included, too! They're definitely going to come in handy with certain packages! Thank you so much! :D
Comment: Hi! 🙂 Such a fun yellow rainbow series swap! I especially liked the card you made with washi tape, the flower photocard & the lovely stamps.
Your yellow envelope & goodies brightened my day! Thank you
Comment: Just now received the lovely little zipper case, which is almost too nice to use for crochet hooks. I may have to promote into a makeup holder for my bag! Thanks so much for making this beautiful little case!
Comment: Hi Debbie! Thanks a lot for this post & all the awesome stamps! Hope you have a great day.
Update: I just realized that I didn’t thank you for the extra step you took...to not only send vintage postage, but also sent a cool vintage pc!!! Thanks for all of your extra efforts!!!
Comment: I love my ATC it is just perfect. I'm assuming the 7 stars are for my number 7. I love it love it love it. Thank you so very much. I'd give you many hearts if I could. You did an awesome job and it will fit perfectly into my collection........=)
Comment: Thanks so much for that pretty card with the wonderful Haiku. Very nice! I love rainbows and lots of colour like this card. Shaving cream and ink? My goodness! What a combination but it makes a lovely effect!
Comment: Beautiful waterfall PC! Thank you! I know you said you would send us some of your cool weather if you could... but honestly, I like hot weather much better! I've never been to Washington State. I hear it is as beautiful as your postcard. I hope you are staying safe and healthy! 💗
Comment: Nice work, Debb!! Very cool! Thank you for the extra, too. I love the embossing you did. These are so special. I wrote inside that you made them so when I send them out people will know the lovely artist. :):):) THANKS!
Comment: Normally I would not leave a heart rating for a postcard swap, but your creativity and the time you clearly put into making this special for me, deserves a heart. Love the butterflies 🦋
Thank you Debbie!
Comment: Thanks so much for the card! Its so true, we do panic when our phones fall and laugh when our friends do! Low of 40s? Thats crazy nice! Even in the south it gets colder than that for weeks on end. I'm going to have to move to your area to enjoy that year round jacket weather!
Response: It's great for the first few years, then you acclimate. Then you feel like you're baking whenever the weather gets over 75 and freeze when it's 40.
Comment: Thanks for sending the bag! Just as an FYI: Because I was the originator of the bag, it really shouldn't come back to me until all the spaces for signatures have been filled out. The bag had one to go. Similarly, bags shouldn't go to people who have already signed them. So, no worries--just want to make sure you know the ins and outs before sending bags in future rounds. If you don't have a bag to send (as in the above cases), just start a new one and mail it off. Hold the existing bag until you're partnered with someone who hasn't seen it yet. Please don't let this note dissuade you for participating in the future! Hugs (socially distant), Allegrae
Response: I didn't realize that. My very first bag came back to me after the first person. I had thought that was just a normal luck of the draw who your partner was. I just acted as the second person and took 2 and added 3 more. I will be more careful in the future and check all the names. Thanks for letting me know!
Comment: Thank you for making this great Mando ATC to share with me and including “the child” - Totes Adorbes!!! Very clever idea to send in an envie made of Star Wars PCs too! Kept it nice and safe on its journey to me! Awesome vintage postage stamps too! I’m loving everything about this happy mail delivery! Most importantly, I’m stoked to add your black glittery ATC to my collection! Mucho Mahalo! ❤️🌺
Comment: Oh boy! I think my favorite part of this swap package is the orphan block you sent me. I haven't ever seen this block done with just 2 colors...I love it. Everything else is great too. Thank you.
Comment: cute block...I have been wanting to tell you that every time I a get a package from you I have to stop and read your full last name. I have a friend named Debbie Kirkendahl so I have to keep my Debbie's straight in my head.
Comment: There's a TV commercial where a mom hides in the bathroom eating cookies to get away from the kiddos. You can do that! :) Hang in there. Hope the balancing act gets better. Stay safe. Stay Healthy. Wash your hands. Wear a mask when outside. Be blessed.
Comment: This ATC is SO GREAT!!! What a perfect card, I actually used the exact same graphic on mine of the brothers. I love the way you made it textured with tulle. I need to try that. Beautiful, hanging it up today! THANKS! :):):)
Comment: Thank you for your fantastic superhero pictures. I was going to put something like that but I didn't know how people would react if that makes sense.
Hope you're staying safe and keep smiling, we'll get through this :)
Comment: Debbie! Thank you so much Eva for the awesome envelope. My husbands and my school colors were that exact color blue and yellow so thank u for that. The minions made me think of the village people and I love your note to. Take care
Ps Micah does not play Minecraft or fort nite
Comment: I wish I could give more than 1 heart because you outdid yourself on this swap! I love the apples, how adorable they are and it means so much to me that you made them. Thank you for being such a great swapping friend. I appreciate you so much!
Comment: I agree it feels like a prison...I don’t have littles anymore but I did homeschool mine for a few years and I totally feel for you rn...and multiples 😱 I couldn’t do it ...stay safe and healthy
Comment: I hear you. I think alot of us feel like prisoners right now. Perphaps this is the universes way of returning things to some normalcy, to slow us down a bit. With all the extra technologies, I feel like many of us have been connected on a very different level. Our families may be keeping us a lot more busy these days, but I think when all is said and done, we may miss some of this family time. Take care and I hope you find some time for yourself.
Comment: I get what you mean about it feeling like a bit of a prison :( I miss eating out with my friends too. When I was at the supermarket the other week I bumped into two of my friends in the same aisle!!! I was trying not to get emotional since it had been so long. I live alone so I find the loneliness aspect quite difficult.
Comment: Congratulations on still being sane with 5 kids at home! What's it like going to school again? Lol. I think I would fail most classes nowadays ☺ i hope this ends soon so you can have "Calgon take [you] away" for a little peace and quiet ☺
Comment: 9 People! Oh gosh.. what a challenge! For me it's just me and my husband and that is already precarious some days..
Thumbs up for the face masks!!
Sending good health and good vibes from Holland :)
Comment: I love your deco posts! I dont know how or where to find the moving ones. I just learned how to post still images and still dont know how to resize them to fit. Thanks for your picks they are really cute.
Response: I just add gif to what I'm searching for on google. So for the giraffe i googled "giraffe tongue gif". The tricky part is finding a gif small enough for the comments. I always have to preview to make sure it fits.
Comment: Naps... ahhhh. What a great thing to do. I don't nap though, because I am, by nature a night owl (up until midnight or 1a.m.). If I nap, I stay up until 2 or 3 a.m. I have been sleeping until 8 am though, which is very late for me!! Enjoy a nap for me... please :-) Stay healthy and safe. REVISED: Did you ever wrangle the kids for their school work?
Comment: Omg 9 people!!!! I would need to be institutionalized by now lol ...how nice to make masks ...I wish I had a sewing machine...I’ve been trying to buy masks from ppl in my town for my parents and daughter and cannot seem to get on the posts on time haha now our Walmart is completely out of fabric and no one is seeing them anymore ...can’t wait for this to be over ...stay safe and healthy
Comment: Thank you so much. You did a wonderful job. I really like the glittery, silvery pen you used to cross out the unused portion. This was my first time with blackout poetry too. Stay safe and healthy.
Comment: Thanks for your pouch. It would have been interesting to know where you have got your fabric from. What is the story behind it. That was part of the swap requirements stated (no 7).
Response: Sorry, I was so excited to get it in the mail I forgot to reread the requirements. I used leftover fabric from some quilts I made years ago. The zipper I bought years ago also in a bulk deal at a thrift store.
Comment: Ack, sorry for the late rating. I am so intrigued by these walnut pies! I've never heard of a walnut pie, but now I need to try it. LOVE your story about gathering and cracking the walnuts. What a lovely memory. THANK YOU! :):):)
Comment: I love you atc!! So cute and a perfect way to incorporate book pages - I use them as backgrounds all the time! Thanks for swapping.
Response: I randomly tore page out and didn't realize what the page content was until I was adding the embellishments. It is quite a dramatic scene in the book. I tried to cover all the words that did not go with my theme. The bottom pic is covering the word EMT. If you look on the top left you can still read something about not having a pulse. I had a good laugh at that being my background for friends.
Comment: YEs so sorry,,,, I received the christmas mug rug and really thought i rated you....I received it on Dec. 5, 19. I may have forgot to save rating.... I love it thank you.. I have them hanging on my craft room wall to use when needed.
Comment: Debbie thank you for the card and short note! I want to apologize for taking so long to rate you as I signed up for some swaps on other sites and I tried my best to make sure I was ratinf and thanking people but not every card had the swap written on it and I think yours fell through the crack for which i deeply apologize!!!!
Comment: I can't believe how special this package is! I am so very excited! This was so much work for you and I love it so much! My whole family was excited that you made me a nativity! It is perfect! I hope I get you for a partner in the future! My husband says I need to give you 10 points for this one!
Response: I'm so happy you like it! I had a lot of fun making it for you. Merry Christmas!!
Comment: Thanks. I thought it was a swap requirement to write the original sentence, but I guess not, makes it less exciting. Cant see the changes :(
Response: I ran it through 7 languages. Google did a really good job translating. The biggest changes were I said it rains here a lot and it changed it to something like it is raining now heavily. It also changed Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays. I think next time the host should have us write both on the postcard or send a message with the original before google.
My partner's postcard only had a couple strange words. It hadn't changed to anything significantly different either.
Comment: I have always been hesitant to make mashed potatoes. I know that's silly but my mother-in-law makes the best, so... and my son is a chef! Anyway, I'm going to try yours. Thanks for all three recipes! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thanks for all the Christmas goodies. The confetti is wonderful as well. I can use it in the next shaker pocket I make. I look forward to trying the Holiday Tea. The artwork on the packet is so pretty. Happy Holidays.
Comment: Thank you for the nice card! We don't have that much problem with deer, but reindeer really like to come to the gardens sometimes for easy meal. They are half tame and stubborn so it is pretty hard to get them leave...
Comment: What a lovely card and the snowflake magnets were a surprise (literally falling into my lap at my desk). I lived for a few months in PA in 1976, attending Peninsula College for part of one semester. Have a lovely holiday.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card and the fridge magnet as well. That's exactly what we do each year. Not especially on Christmas eve, but during the Christmas holidays from school (2 weeks here) we always take a trip with my mom to see the pretty lights in Amsterdam.
I wish you and your loved ones wonderful holidays as well!
Xx Monique ❤️🎄🤶🎅
