Comment: You are so good! This is a wonderful page.. the wide “timepieces” tape is amazing and perfect for this theme… every element is just right especially the metal filigree in the corner.. I will use this in the cover of my new journal … really nice work.. thank you … say “hello” to doc Martin if he strolls by ; ) !!
Comment: Thank you for another fantastic postcard with a brilliant woman on it! Vera certainly does sound amazing :-) I love these cards, so many amazing women out there that we don't really hear of. I love it <3
Comment: Thank you, Zannie! This is an unusual postcard, for sure, but I mean that in a good way! Haha. I love your idea to list out gray paint names like that and the way you decorated the envelope, too. :)
Comment: Hi Zannie! I hope this finds you well and thank you for the lovely handmade pc! I was surprised to get it in an envie but saw that was ok, so no worries! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: glad you like it. I always check re the envelope rule. Being able to use one means I can include collage in the piece.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card, definitely a phrase to live by! I also love the stamp - where do you get the different values and fun ones from? I can't find them anywhere?! I hope the card with onions turns up for the next round! Have a great week!
Comment: This is such a lovely page! Love the warm beautiful colors in the background and that sweet English”rose”. The clock face and butterfly were absolutely the perfect touch … the quote in the front and the one on the back were both quite appreciated.. thank you !
Comment: Thank you so much! I am sorry for the late rating, my kiddo brought me a couple of envies today and said he forgot to give them to me. I love the collage that you've done for the envelope. I can never seem to make them look anything but chaotic. The anime is super cute!
Comment: Thank you for the cool postcard, I did have a better week, thank you :-) I love Elementary! JLM is probably my favourite Sherlock! Look forward to swapping again soon... I'm keeping it low key at the moment as I'm finding time rather elusive! Have a fab week <3
Comment: I'm so sorry I didn't rate you earlier, I'm not sure how it slipped by me! Thank you so much for the fantastic card! It's gone into my collection to be used in my journal <3 I've got a nice little Dr Who collection now for a few pages :-) Thank you!
Comment: Thanks! I love the bright yellow envie as well as the PC! I am always amazed at the color changes too, depending on the substrate. Great repurpose of a security envie too. Stay safe and healthy! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: A lovely card that'll fit nicely in my collection. The nameless goldfish arrived at my house in an insulated cup two years ago, with three others. My mate's ex left them behind and my mate couldn't handle cleaning them. I thought she'd brought me a coffee and was about to remove the lid and take a swig! She started screaming lol. Poor fish is the only survivor and has never had a name... xx
Comment: Thank you for the card of a Dali painting. I'm very envious of where you live, by the way. I used to live in Plymouth and regularly came down your part of the world on our motorbike. The beach is amazing xx
Comment: Your journal arrived finally today! After such a long delay! It was so good to see it arrive. Even though the envelope got a bit wet with the rain the notebook inside was all intact! I had a quick flip through but I can already tell I'm going to enjoy reading it and the cute doodles are already making me giggle! Thank you for sharing your month with me.
Response: phew- that is most excellent news. Hope you enjoy reading it.
Comment: Very clever to list some of the tools and implements of our craft in the list of likes! I can 100% agree with liking your A-G, J, P, and R-X. But I have to look up whatever hardboard, krink markers, and the oval are all about!!! Thanks for sharing 😉
Comment: Thank you for sharing your thoughtful postcard art! Being a senders-choice swap you certainly did NOT have to make something friendly to me and my family needs. However, I am SO VERY GRATEFUL that you did! Thank you for reading that part of my profile and being considerate of my wishes! I hope that my request didn’t squelch your creativity by much...but, please know that I LOVE the hearts and the colors you selected!!! This is a great DIY PC! 🤩
Comment: FOLLOW UP: Just had to change the rating to include a <3 (heart). Zannie you are so wonderful to send me an RAK Dance PC in an envie to make up for the first one that was chewed up badly by the p.o. We never talked about a re-send, and I never expected you to send one. I gave you a 5 for the first one. But you did this all on your own! It was wonderful to go to my mailbox and find a true RAK waiting for me. So, I am adding a Heart to your rating for being so kind. Thank you for renewing my faith in people. You are a good-hearted, charitable, and considerate person. :-)
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Thank you for the PC. You have a wonderful background in dance! I took ballet and tap when I was 5, and modern dance when I was about 10. Didn't stick with either one... but I love to watch the ballet!
Response: thank you for the heart..glad your faith is renewed x
Comment: Oh, yes, this is very wintry! Like your use of texture & images. Snow isn’t all that prevalent here, either—what falls is gone in a couple of days due to the surrounding salt water. Thanks for being my partner.
Comment: Wow, what a fantastic review you wrote. Are you a professional reviewer? I enjoy reading books about history especially art and textile history so you have definitely got me interested in this one. Will check it out at the local library. Happy reading.
Comment: Sorry for the late rating. I found quite a lot of unrated mail behind my desk, when I was reorganizing my studio. No idea how or when it fall there. Thank you for the adorable postcards. I love them all!
Comment: I loved reading your quotes. I was blown away by the sheer amount on your board, 316! A lot of them really spoke to me and I'll definitely be re-pinning a lot of them to my own personal boards.
Response: glad some of them will be joining your board
Comment: You have some very interesting books from your library. I wonder if my library has books about color and book making. Great way to learn French. I use a Spanish/ English parallel Bible and I use DUolingo a free app on my phone,
Response: picked up 'the golden thread' yesterday, also by Kassia
Comment: Thank you for your journal! If you like mushrooms, I would suggest substituting a nice portobello for a veggie burger. Done right it is so great and delicious! It seems like you have so many swaps going on, I can't imagine how you keep them all straight! Best of luck!
Comment: Welcome back! Thank you for the Karen Horney, Psychoanalyst postcard. Very interesting quote "Life itself still remains a very effective therapist." I have to think that one through a little more. Thanks for the food for thought.
Comment: Thanks for a lovely letter. I enjoyed it today while eating lunch. How'd those books help in understanding how to draw? I am not very well at art but can learn by watching but never by myself. Just dont have an eye for it.....so good luck!
Comment: Thanks for your letter, finally got back from Hawaii. Enjoyed reading it and hope we can become Pen Pals. I will be traveling in the UK and Europe for a year june 2020. It would be a hoot if we met. I will be writing back soon...
Response: penpals would be great...and what would it take for us to meet in 2020??
Comment: Love the veggie PC! How appropriate :)) Congrats to you on your success, and wishing you much more on your journey. I actually love most veggies, so I guess I am lucky lol. If you haven't tried roasting them, definitely try. I do find them very enjoyable that way. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Hello...your envelope was completely open on one end so I don’t know what all you initially sent. There was your letter ...a recipe...and a paper with a Chinese motif on it. Thanks for these items...🤗
Response: disappointing to see the envelope was open..glad some things arrived
Comment: This postcard was utterly gorgeous, I love it! Thank you so much for sending it to me! Also, I can't wait to check out that book, it sounds really interesting! Did you like it? Anyway, I hope you have a great week :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely swap. I enjoyed the quotes on the envelope. I also enjoyed the tuck ins. To respond to your questions, yes, I have pen pals all over the world. Small world - so fun to hear that you visited Oakland once. Take very good care and happy swapping.
Comment: I love the PC you sent with the doll and the cat on it: two of my favorite things! Your dream was amazing. Dolly Parton is our local sweetheart and I'd love for her to commission me to make 12 Johnny Cash dolls. How cool that a talking cat introduced you to her. Thanks for an awesome swap.
Comment: Thank you for the story I really enjoyed it! You received such a strange combination of words I don't know what in the world I would've written about, I enjoyed the creativity in your tale and it was a really interesting adventure :) And honestly, I don't know what I would've done, lol. Probably ran and hid somewhere in between the fingers and the arms emerging knowing myself ;) Happy Swapping!
Comment: thank you for the super cool vintage-alike card. It's always fun to see how in the old days they hid some forbidden romance on cards. A typical historian would explain that these are only friends expressing affection :D
Comment: Honestly I don't even know where to begin! Every letter you sent was lovely to read and actually really interesting! And also, thank you for all of the wonderful goodies you sent with them too! Both the book and notebook were so freaking cute, it made my day for seeing them!! :) :)
Comment: I adore the postcard. I love umbrellas & parasols & likewise wide brim hats. This PC was made in Canada in 1999 traveled to you and now to me in the USA. I love knowing it has had a 19 year adventure. So happy to own it. Thank Y ou for sending it to me and for your friendly note and interesting INTL postage stamp.
Comment: ahahahhaha 5(!!!!) hearts for you and Kevin! Love this postcard! Just my type! Well done, great laugh!
Funny fact: we (I dont do, because of deep respect for every human being:D) call guys like him Alpha Kevin :D so funny. I think "jerk" is the perfect Translation for Alpha Kevin!
Hope to Revenge soon! Swap on \m/
Comment: Thank-you so much for the swap! Loved the postcards especially:) Funny story, I used to have one of the postcards in my collection but sent it out awhile ago as it was on someone's wish list. Super cool to have one sent back to me!! Thanks again:)
Comment: You got a heart for the best and most english card on earth haha i totally love it :P and i would love to do a tea swap with you if it ever happends haha my favorite tea is sleepy tea which is a combination of cinnamon and camilla :D
Comment: Zannie, I'm sorry for the late rating. I was checking through swaps and thought I'd received your card so I searched and found it. Thanks so much for a great PC. I love that you paid attention to my profile and I love the turquoise color of the water. Take care always and thanks again!! xo♥
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful cityview of Cornwall! Haven't seen touristy pcs with a rainbow before :) I kind of stopped using Postcrossing since Swap-Bot, because I like choosing what topics to join.
Comment: Thank you for the pc! It really made me grin. Yes, sometimes it's lovely to live with parakeets. Most of the time it's noisy and dirty. Feathers and poop everywhere. But I love them anyway. Felting is something I never got really into. I've tried it, but I don't think it's my kind of craft. But i adore all the felted masterpieces people create.
Comment: Love everything about your note zannie rose. Your weekend was so calming. I love the paper you used. I also did the February letter challenge (incowrimo) and I LOVE Murdoch Mysteries. A few of the episodes were filmed in my home town where I grew up. Thanks for the delightful letter!
