Comment: Thanks for the swap! The glitter didn't want to stay inside the ornament, I had a glitter explosion all over my desk when I opened the package haha. But I really like what you sent me, thank you! :D
Comment: Hi! Thank you so much for your note and fun kawaii goodies! I moved 3 years ago and STILL have boxes that aren't unpacked, so I feel your pain. lol Hope you get settled in much faster than I have! :)
Response: I am still unboxing but taking it slow so I can purge and possibly have a yard sale.
Comment: OMG This was such a cute swap! I loved everything hehe Especially the tapes, memos! By the way, where did you get the cupcake/ice cream tape from? It's super cute! hehe Thank you for everything :) <3 <3 <3
Response: The tape came from a previous swap so I have no idea what brand or where it really came from but it's so cute!
Comment: I wish I could give you more hearts, Susie -- thank you so much for a generous, thoughtful envelope of goodies enclosed in a n equally as adorable envelope! (I'm saving the Lisa Simpson and Par avion stickers for my journal :) I really needed this burst of sunshine today. Thank you for helping cheer me up, and hope your box is full of similarly happy mail ♥
Response: I am glad you got some sunshine in your letter box. Mine has been mostly circulars lately so I am looking forward to more happy mail. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for such an awesome package!! I absolutely loved everything!! The face masks are so awesome! I was able to use one already. :) And my skin feels so amazing!!! I love the sushi epoxy stickers. :D and the memos are cute! And have some of my favorite designs. :) The whole package was amazing. :) I feel spoiled. :) Thank you so much again!!
Response: I really enjoyed the pick 5 swap. It was really fun filling your box, glad you liked what I picked for you.
Comment: Thank you so much for all the great food items you sent me! Most of them were new to me and I love how you used the food words given by me! Already tried the tamarind balls. I love how it tastes so different to all I have ever tried before. Thanks for broaden my horizon!
Response: It was a wonderful swap, I hope to join future ones. I really enjoyed shopping for you.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely teas, they smell so good. Great, you put some really nice stamps on the envelope, I like that. And the little kitty on the bag made it complete. ♥=^•ᴥ•^=♥ My name is pronounced like this : Nail-tju
Comment: Thank you so much for the teas and goodies! â¤ï¸ The bottom of the envelope was ripped, so I'm happy that you placed the tea and goodies inside the actual letter or they probably wouldn't have made it!! Thanks again!!
Response: I am glad it arrived safely. You never can tell with how post runs these days. Thanks for the heads up, I think I may start reinforcing the edges of my envies.
Comment: Update: Thank you so much for sending the large memos!! You are such a sweetheart. :) I love the designs. :) Thank you so much again!! :)
Thank you for the awesome assortment of Kawaii goodies! :) You sent me mini memos instead of large ones but they are so darn cute!! :) Thank you so much again! :)
Response: I am so sorry. In my hurry to get the swap out before my vacation started I mis-read that part. Don't worry, I will send some out to you as soon as I get back Sunday. Glad you liked what I sent even though it was the wrong size.
Comment: Hooooray!! Thank you so much for the thoughtful package!! I love the Kawaii goodies you've sent my way. The lettersets are adorable, and the sticker flakes! Soo cute!!! And I love how you packaged up the mini memos in that super cute wrappy envelope! That one's going right in the smashbook! lol And thank you so much for the neat Tokidoki envelopes!! How cool >_< Many many hearts for you!!
Comment: Thanks for the fun rant! I am around kids of all ages, and the lazy, over-eating, foot dragging, odorous, kids are obvious at kindergarten. I wonder if these are the children who will take care of us in our elderly years, will we even have a chance! Thanks for your rant!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely and very interesting letter! It was lots of fun to read, and you have a pleasant style of writing, before I knew it I had finished all the pages! The font is good btw, easy to read. I will write you a letter back :-)
Response: So glad you enjoyed it, I was worried I wouldn't have enough things to talk about.
Comment: Thank you for your great letter! Your pups are lucky to have you! I would be happy to write you back and tell you about the fur members in my family. Your step son is the same age as my son. We should plan a swap for them! :)
Response: That sounds like it would be a fun swap! I have done a spouse swap (oh that sounds bad) before and it was great fun.
Comment: Thank you for the journal! It was really cute and fun to read! Unfortunately some of the pages stuck together. I love SF also! I've wanted to move there since forever. But my husband doesn't want to, cause it's so expensive :-(
Response: Phooey I was hoping to avoid that. You can pull them apart, they should be okay still. I just read on the PFs how to avoid that by using a sheet of wax paper between pages. Learn something new everyday! I am glad you enjoyed it.
Comment: Thank you for the mini journal, it seemed like every other page we were just alike, then the next page our views were totally different. Loved reading it. Thanks for angeling my 30 day song journal.
Response: Wow that go to you super quick! I am glad you enjoyed the journal and the angel.
Comment: It was wonderful to receive anime deco from you ! Thank you so much : ) Im sorry but I still havent got time to prepare for the private swap yet as my sons have been affected by asthma and they need treatment at home every day and I havent got enough time yet but I will try to send you mine soon. Take care
Response: I totally understand, during this time of year my nephews and I have trouble with our asthma too. Last month I have been a little sick too. Take your time and enjoy the deco! Talk to you soon, hope your boys feel better soon.
Comment: Awwww the journal was fabulous! Really! And the surprises inside! And the music! Thank you thank you thank you! I was afraid that everyone would listen to the same artists so it wouldn't be fun, but actually we have some similarities, but many different favorites which is great! Cause I'll explore some more music! :)))
Response: I am so glad you enjoyed my song choices as well as the extras. I love sharing music with others. :3 If you ever want to do another swap let me know.
Comment: I think making sure there is coffee in the house is a very thoughtful gesture. :) My husband and I both drink coffee but I'm pretty sure he thinks we have a magic coffee and creamer fairy because I can't remember the last time he ran out of either. (We tend to favor different coffees and creamers.) Wonderful RAKs!
Response: Speaking of creamer we ran out last night! We had to go to 7-11 and pay through the nose because it was so late.
Comment: I'm always amazed when people don't realize it's a federal holiday and that the post office is closed. It was very nice of you to let the people in line that they wouldn't be able to mail packages on Columbus Day. Cheers for volunteering to be the designated driver and for cooking for family. :)
Response: I think since I work at a school I assumed if the feds have it off I have it off... guess it doesn't work that way :p
Comment: Thanks for your lovely comment! It's not that I hate chihuahuas, but they're actually my least favourite dogs.
I prefer them big and cudly :D I don't think they are really cute, but I can definately imagine they can be sweet!
I only meet a couple chihuahuas and actually they were kinda mean... But maybe that's just coincidence :).
Response: Chihuahuas are prone to aggression and territorial issues because owners have a tendency to baby them since they are so small. I don't like that, my rescue has gotten better over the years but she used to be very BAD about it. My little guy has always been wonderful, even with kids and chi's usually HATE little kids. My mom has a pit and a heeler they are more my size but I don't have the time or yard for a bigger breed.
Comment: Thanks so much for everything! Shannon loved the candy and the tea, and the glass was so great! I can't wait to listen to the CD, that was so nice of you to include! Thanks again!
Response: Phew! Glad it made it safely. I hope he tries other loose green tea. I never knew tea was so awesome until I started trying loose tea and using the brew directions properly. Glad you both enjoyed the package.
Comment: If I had to guess I would say Asusena has somethingto do with the Azucena/Açucena flower (Hippeastrum hybridum). Nice name, cool flower. :) Oh! And your email made me laugh, it wasn't boring at all. Thanks!
Response: You are correct! I would go by Lily for short but my very sweet, yet not very original mom named my sister Lilian :p
Comment: That info sheet sounds like it would be really useful for a lot of people. I remember trading all of those items back in my teens with my penpals and I wonder if anything has changed since then. Star Wars glasses would go over well in my house as well. :) Great week.
Response: FB's have changed. There are people that only swap high quality ones now, they are amazing. To be honest I am kinda on the picky side, but mostly if the FB is poorly made and falling apart due to how it's made or people with poor penmanship frustrating me. But we can't all have pretty writing.....
Comment: I also can't stand it when people type like that! I have a friend who types like that and for some reason also likes to take one letter out of every word she types... It annoys the heck out of me... just type the dang letter!
Response: My brother is notorious for doing that, I tease him about it but he still does it!
Comment: Hii :D I'm sure we would be great pals too, thanks for your nice message and good luck with all the zelda games (*sigh* I wish I could go back in time were I was doing them for the first time)
Response: Thanks :) Playing again being older .... I often wonder how they came so easy to me back then.
Comment: thanks for sharing. i'm originally from southern california myself and magic mountain is a name i haven't heard in a long time. i think 1984 was the last time i was there. do they still have the colouses (sp?) rollercoaster?
Response: Yes, it's still here! I love Magic Mountain, I will admit the one thing I don't miss is how steep some of the walk areas are. It's a tiring theme park!
Comment: I wish I had money to buy the new LoZ game for the wii. haha. I haven't had a new video game in months, so I definitely can't wait for Christmas.
Right now, I plan on getting a sunflower in memory of my dad, the crest of Hyrule on my chest with 3 1/2 hearts above it, a hello kitty bow on my hip, a zombie hello kitty on my back, and "Wonderland", the actually city on my side, so I have to start drawing my concept for that one eventually. What kind of tattoos do you have?
Response: Oh I have so many! I have a unicorn puking a rainbow, I have a tribute to bubble bobble drawn by luke chueh, a Domo, an alien fetus some custom art done by my friend Jazmine and another custom piece drawn by lynette may, a drago, a fairy... just a whole lotta tattoos.
Comment: I love rice chex to munch on lol. I keep misbehaving with the gluten which makes me feel terrible! Need to get a some discipline. How neat you have a niece named Audra, and you come from a family of six. :) We have four girls and two boys - poor guys are outnumbered. :) It's nice to meet you. :)
Comment: Thanks for the picture! It made me think of this article that I saw recently:
(Dune Cat lives!)
It's been far too long since I reread Dune. I love the first book, but I remember not being able to get as into the sequels. One day, I'll have to give them another shot.
Response: The sequels do get a little drawn out and ridiculous. In my opinion anyways, they just got boring for me after the third book. I have also been meaning to reread the series and give it another shot. Dune is so great, I figure I owe the rest of the series another go.
Comment: grrrr lol u made me want reesee peanut butter cups lol
Response: Have one for me :)
True story: One xmas I got one of those puzzle boxes that holds the treasure in the middle. My treasure being a 50 dollar gift card. I had a heck of a time opening it! So I help the puzzle put some Reese's in it and brought it over to my friend's house when she was PMS'ing @[email protected] scary! But funny.
Comment: oh shame about your friend. you did what a good friend would have done! too bad she doesn't appreciate it now but hopefully one day she'll be able to see what you did was good :) yay to doggy RAK! top job with mum RAK :)
Comment: I think your heart was in the right place with helping your friend. It sucks that she is unable to appreciate your efforts when you didn't have to help her in the first place. I'm glad your doggies are better. I know they appreciated your thoughtfulness. :) Taking my mom out to lunch is one of my favorite things to do as well. We always fight over who's going to pay though. ;) Great RAKs this week!
Response: Being that my mom raised 6 kids single handedly.... she pretty much knows she has paid her fair share and we always pay. Thanks for reading and enjoying. :)
Comment: Loved the slams Susie, thank you! If I could offer some unsolicited advice? Your slams are SUPER fun and cute! I would simply recommend a sheet dedicated to address labels. Most people (including myself) prefer to use these when signing into a slam. Again, very cute slams though. Thanks again!
Response: Thanks I will keep that in mind. I have seen both types, the plain Jane sign in ones and ones that offer a place for a label. I think I like the label idea as well. This way I can see where the slam has been. :)
Comment: Thank you for the paper-yes, it is cute! The dumbo is way beyond cute-lol I love hello kitty and have different places I buy that, but where do u get dumbo stationairy? I would love t get some
Response: Glad you liked it. The Dumbo stationary came to me via a swap from Japan. I thought it was very cute too. Try online?
Comment: Wow that is so freaking wild! I put Hearst Castle as a place of interest near where I live too! I went there as a kid too and the pools definitely were the main thing that stuck in my mind :D Good choice on fav flowers.
Response: I am not as close to it as you are but it was the only thing I could think of that was awesome and not just another California mission.
Comment: I don't listen to much Japanese music so this was an adventure for me. You're absolutely right about "Milk Tea" it does have a feel good vibe! In fact I'm listening to it again as I write this.
Response: I am glad you enjoyed the songs! I figured I would change it up.
Comment: Cracked is an awesome site! I'm going to try to check out some of these others over the next week... once both my kids are back in school! :) The one that really interests me is the friend of yours that moved to Japan. Reading about people in new cultures always interests me. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Thanks for your answers! I really enjoyed reading them, although I'm not sure rainbows count as a colour, but if they don't they really should do! We seem to keep on being partnered up in swaps! Hope you get over your cold soon, runny noses are never fun :(
Response: I did notice that too, speaking of I have a letter for you that I am sending out today.... I will admit I feel like I got long winded :p
