Comment: Thanks for the postcard from my favorite place! 🏔 I hope you do learn those things. Little crochet animals are so cute. My list is ridiculously long, as well. Pottery, encaustic wax, embroidery, and on & on!
Comment: Thank you so much for all the goodies! I didn't have any of these washi tapes yet! I also appreciate you being willing to re-send, and I'm sorry again that the first happy mail is lost somewhere in the mail.
Comment: Thank you for this swap! It made me smile to see the cute fingerprint dog postcard! Love it! I also liked this is Home stickers. They are new to me. Of coarse, I liked it all but those were my favorites. It made me smile!
Comment: Hi! thank you for the pretty postcard! Totally makes sense to choose a flower for this swap. Funny enough though, I think I have two other kinds of these postcards I've received from swaps. So far they've been different though. Maybe I'll be able to collect more in the future!
Comment: You have been an awesome Faith Sister partner this month! Thanks for being such a blessing and for so many goodies you have blessed me with! Hope you join this swap again next month! Hugs, Pam
Comment: Hi Kristy! What a fun vintage pc! Thanks so much for sharing it with me! Don't you love when you find pcs at estate sales? Nice price as well - lucky you! Wishing you all the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the tram postcard! I am definitely a summer person. The hotter the better for me!!! I do not like winter or snow or cold even though I’ve lived most of my life in places with cold winters. Spent a year and a half in Scottsdale - that was great!! Stay cool and thanks again! : )
Comment: Thanks so much for those beautiful handmade cards. They're gorgeous! And I look forward to trying those teas. Never seen strawberry cheesecake before. That's different! Very kind of you! Cathy/Writercat
Response: i’m so glad to see this finally arrived to you..I was getting worried lol I’m glad you like the swap 🍓
Comment: Hi Kristy! I have never been to Aruba either but that beach looks amazing! It has been cold as heck here so any warm beach would be wonderful at this point! Thanks so much for the warm thoughts! Wishing you all the best and please stay safe! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Here's to it getting warm soon where you are!
Comment: These are awesome and already in one of my journals! Thanks too for the extra goodies. I love the card. Is that your photo? Very nice! Thanks again for a wonderful swap. Many ❤️ s to you Kristy!
Comment: Kristy you are too much. I just opened my ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ENVELOPE OF FRIENDSHIP GOODIES. Way to cool colored pens, yippee. Awesome stamp set. Those Beatle items I cant even thank you enough, I truly love & will cherish them, I think they are EPIC! Your so sweet & thoughtful, it felt like an early Christmas, thanks my sweet friend, hugs AnnaL. (Off to look at everything you sent again. & again)
Comment: Thanks Kristy for the 2 yummy teas, I just love that brand of teas. Love the card & mini stickers, your so kind. Even you envelope was decorated cute & your address label was adorable. Until our next swap, be well, AnnaL.
Comment: I have a healthy respect/fear of spiders! When I was about three, I was bitten by a spider in our hotel room near the Grand Canyon and ended up having to be placed on an oxygen tent at the hospital. Unfortunately, there are a TON of spiders on our property, turns out bugs will go where ever there is food, and spiders will go where ever there are bugs! We get them in our mailbox too. I have to remind the kids to check before reaching in and if you don't have a flashlight at night, just leave the mail in the box until morning!
Comment: Love this theme, the ocean is so near and dear to my heart. I love that some of these happen to be of places I love too, Hwy 1 is such a beautiful drive and my fourth grade class took a field trip to Santa Barbara way back in the day to visit the mission. These are all very cool postcards, thank you.
Response: That sounds about right for a California kid...I took trips to the missions near San diego as a kid lol
Comment: Wow!!!! Every time I see your name on the envelope I know I’m in for an amazing surprise. You REALLY spoiled me this time and I especially love the Strawberry Shortcake envelope. Thank you so much for such an amazing swap !!
Response: You're very welcome & I am glad you enjoy receiving my swaps...that means a lot!
Comment: Looks like we didn't win. Better luck next time! I like your "starting today..." I need to back off on that too. In election years I tend to stop watching network tv and move to Netflix and streaming channels without ads! Can't take all that hype and mud!
Comment: Oh, I do love your envelope and all the goodies inside. Just yesterday I watched a you Tube about making cards with Washi tape. I can hardly wait to get started, with all of the pretty tapes you sent to me. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the nice note and fun treats inside! I am keeping busy with the normal things, swapping, reading, the kids, but yea somethings will change because of it. It isn't fun grocery shopping any more.
Comment: Thank you for the cute dog postcard! Currently I don't have any pets. My furbaby passed in 2014 with kidney failure and we have her for 13 years. She was our precious baby and I miss her so much. Right now, we can't have pets where we are living but I hope to someday have another furbaby.
Comment: Hi Kristy! Love the Palm Springs pc! I agree that trusting any news these days is a catch 22! I listened to a very interesting YouTube video the other day and it really makes you wonder if so much that is going on was put in action on purpose and who the players are making money off of it - such a situation if it is true! Wishing you all the best and please stay safe! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and sharing your pet peeves. I agree with you about texting and driving....just upsets me when I see or hear about people doing that. It’s so irresponsible. Enjoy your day!
Comment: Thank you for the Eagle river PC & about your pet peeves. I can't stand it either, when people text or even talk on phone while driving. Heck, I have even seen a cop do it. It's like What?! Do they think they are Privileged ?
Comment: Received your swap today with yummy blueberry muffin tea, great stickers, and your note card with quotes. Thank you ! I enjoyed reading the quotes & am drinking the tea already you gave me. Very very good! I love blueberries!
Comment: Ohhh wow thank you for the beautiful pink washi tapes! 😃 your envelope is so pretty I’m adding it to my junk journal. The stationary picture was something I found through Google. I can tag you in it if you want. I don’t mind removing it. Just let me know. Do you still sell on eBay? Thanks also for the beautiful pc and HK memos ❤️
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed this swap... I still sell on ebay! :D
Comment: Thank you Kristy for the cool owl card! We have a lot in common! Savannah is one of my favorite places to visit. DId you ever eat at Zunzi's when you lived there? That's a fav of mine. My hubs and I stayed at Laura's Cottage but we didn't see any ghosts. I kill LOTS of succulents, lol! The hardiest ones live in my front garden. Have fun! :):):)
Response: I didn't!! I didn't get to explore too much of Savannah but I wish I had for sure! So much cool history there & the surrounding areas.
Comment: (Psst, you forgot the swap name! All good, I figured it out.)
I've read The Child Called It series, and I shed MANY tears. Dave Pelzer is a remarkable man. I've been meaning to read The Diary of Anne Frank. Perhaps that will be my next read.
Response: I don't even remember doing this swap...I was THAT sick. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I didn't actually send you my favorite book instead of a postcard lol Yes, I highly recommend the Diary of Anne Frank...it's one of those books that stays with you, as it should. Word on the street they are making 'A child called It' into a movie!
Comment: Thanks, Kristy. I love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Muppet Christmas Carol, Lady and the Tramp (totally counts, starts and ends with Xmas puppies!), White Christmas, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Miracle on 34th Street (the Mara Wilson remake). I've never seen Christmas with the Kranks, maybe that will be my new one this year.
Comment: Thank you so much for the card and the stickers, I am gutted there was a titchy tear on the front of the kitty card (must have happened in transit btw). I love the succulent stickers, they are everywhere suddenly. And nope, no postcardx for me just Nervousness.
Comment: OMG, you went above and beyond. Thank you so much! I absolutely loved the card and the postcards you added and delightfully perfect. Washi...you know the way to a snailmailers heart!! Thank you!!
Comment: Cleaning out a bag and I found this postcard. My apologies for such a late, late, late rating. Thank you for the Disney postcard and for sharing your Cajun meal. I had great Cajun food when I visited New Orleans many years ago. Again, sorry for the late rating!!!!
Comment: Oh What a happy mailbox when your fun and beautiful envelope arrived. Happy ME too! What a wonderful delivery of goodies. Great stickers and a surprise of pretty washi. Thank You so much Kristy.
Comment: Thank you for the interesting photo and all the extra the paper goodies. You wrote kinda fast so as I decipher your letter and sort it out, I’ll address your questions in a write back. My fave part of your swap was the Afro Ken paper you wrote on.
Comment: I think that the Hay Maze sounds like a great thing to do for fall.. If we had one here, a gator might wander in... so I don't know if they do those down here in Florida! But I remember them from Nebraska. They were a lot of fun, but never did one at night!!! All my bucket list things were "new home" related :-( I love the card you sent! And I love the washi, and the McDonald's coffee coupon. McD's actually has great coffee! THANKS!! Will use it today :-). Thank you for such a great note and stuffers. I would give you extra hearts if I could... so here are my extra hearts <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Response: EEEP! And I thought regular night critters would be scary lol I'm glad you enjoyed the swap ;)
Comment: Love this quote...one of my favorites. I love that Lenon used it in Beautiful Boy. I made some Beatles song lyrics in calligraphy (hubby is a big fan) and they hang in our bedroom. This is one of the ones I did.
Comment: Hello Kristy! Thank you for all the cute items and the envelope was so nicely decorated! Happy Swapping :) RATE: hello Kristy, I already rated you for this swap but I got another envelope from you that says "send anything 75" the envelope has a pug puppy sticker on it and you sent samples of washi tape. I am again thankful for the swap but I'm not sure why I got two lol. I hope you didn't mistake the envelopes with another partner or another swap. THANK YOU anyways :)
Comment: Our weather has been insane. Last week we spent 3 nights in a row huddled in the basement. We live just outside Eldon and in line with Jefferson City. Thankfully we only had tree limbs down. I did wonder about how you were doing over there. I’m glad you are ok. I saw a weather post yesterday that says there’s more on the way this weekend 😔 Take Care! Thank you for the awesome memo note letter and extras sheets. ❤️
Response: We went to OKC for my birthday (never going there in the Spring again) and the tornado siren went off as the El Reno tornado was only 20 miles away...it will be awhile before my anxiety level isn't so high. Hopefully it will turn into boring Summer weather for us in the Midwest/South soon!
Comment: This is awesome. I responded to your letter in PM because otherwise it would have taken me too long to get around to writing cuz I'm behind on stuff like that. Thanks for the lovely and generous gifts I love the note card, postcard, and especially the stickers! Thanks so much!!!
Comment: Thank you for everything! The memo sheets and letter set are greatly appreciated. I'm shocked that you found the Bananya character paper at 5Below! Now I'm anxious to go check mine but it is 50 miles away...price I pay for living out in the 'sticks'. But being the kawaii stationary addict that I have become I am compelled to go..LOL! BTW...I love the recycled Pusheen envie you made! LOVE it! Thanks again.
Comment: Thanks for the letter and photo.
Pugs are so cute. I don't have any pets for the past 15 years or so but I regularly hike and snowshoe with my neighbor's Lab and care for her when they go away, so I am not without.
Comment: Thank you for the yellow and purple washi and extras. And for hosting the swap! We should be pen pals! I happen to have some spare envelopes now :) and will drop you a letter soon. I'm about five letters behind so give me a little bit of time....
Response: Sounds good! Don’t worry about when you write, I too am a bit behind 😀
Comment: I also love to send out things to veterans! I donate a lot to stamps for the wounded as a I have a giant box full of used stamps. My kids sometimes send postcards thanking them. If you have any good addresses to send to that could use more please let me know. Thank you for the rak swap. Edit: Just connected that I won! Thank you so very much for this opportunity! I never win these things so was just shocked. Lol thank you very much.
Response: Great ideas! Your tracking number is 9505515891469119212821 :D
Comment: Your not the only one with sewing machines sitting around. I had a surger I stared at intently and never used. I finally gave it to someone who did use it. Like you, I have dreamed of going to Japan. One day, with very little luggage to and lots on the way back!
Response: Maybe that’s what I should do since I really am just a paper crafter lol
Comment: Thank you for the cute memo sheet letter swap. I think I remember those tornado storms going through. I have a sister that lives in Carnegie. So, I try to keep an eye on her other there. I love the homemade envelope you sent the swap in...and all the extra memo sheets too. I'm fascinated with kawaii stuff and being a beginner it is all new to me and I'm finding my way slowly. Thank you so much!
Response: Oh you're going to love collecting kawaii stationery! :)
Comment: Awesome HK Ninja stationary. I don't know if this character has a specific name or if it is just HK in a costume. It is so cute though. My husband spent 16 years in the USN and was never stationed outside the US. I often wished he would've. Thank you so much for the adorable kawaii memo sheets *extras :)♥
Comment: Wow thank you for so much memo and note paper! I love the Hello Kitty envelopes you made :) I think that it is cute that how we play with our toys is collect them, put them on a shelf, look at them and touch them occasionally. Though I do have a squishy, slow rising elephant that is covered in soft material And has a crinkle sounding layer. So it is cute, squishing, slow rising, soft and crinkles. It makes me giggle and relax instantly. We need that in our adult lives! Right? Hehe
Comment: Kristy, thank you for the amazing "We're High On Palm Springs" Mickey & Minnie postcard you sent to me for the swap. I'm imagining all the palm trees, & your enjoying a trip to Palm Springs, CA. Happy Spring!
Comment: Eee! I loved these PCs so much!! They'll be going in my next Keep One, Send One! Thanks soooo much for the awesome washi too! I noticed the scratch n sniff one!! I also desperately needed some more envies, so perfect timing! LOVE the other washi too and the iridescent card is so cooool!!!! Thank you so much!!!! 💟💟💟
Response: What did the washi smell like? I’m really glad you liked the swap 😄
Comment: It has been super cold here in the Uk too, thank you kindly for the lovely washi samples, my favorite is the one with the umbarella's and my Mr loved the little bear note cards. Thank you very much.
Comment: Espresso poured over ice cream sounds delicious. I have wanted to try cookie butter but have done everything to try to avoid finding a reason. It sounds so indulgent LOL. I wish there was a Trader Joes near by. We don't have one in this county! Thank you for the letter. ;3
Response: You're better off not trying it..can't miss what you haven't had lol
Comment: First of all Kristy the envie with octopi on it is adorable LOVE THEM~thanks so much for everything~ You must have read my profile. I love Johnny Cash I saw him and June Carter Cash many many many years ago when I was a very young girl at a country fair. Fell in love instantly! The washi tape card is beautiful I can't wait to use it~ I LOVE the Snoopy paper I can always use handmade envies too Love the washi tape which is why I joined this swap and last but not least the PC of Horseshoe Falls is beautiful. I was there many many years ago. Thank you again for a wonderful swap! HAPPY MAIL :)
Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed the swap! :)
Comment: I am just about to buy a "kakeibo" for my budget tracking.. I am someone who needs to be accountable in some way or another and I think it would be good to see what my money is going towards :)
Comment: Hi! The tea was yummy!! I need to get more now. I’m actually so sick of FL lol! I wasn’t born here but I have been here a long time. I would love to live in Japan. Yes I did see the Polly pocket things at hottopic and I almost ordered them but kept stopping myself because I felt bad spending money at the time but if I can still get them I probably will lol. I never watched Fuller House, it sounds cringey lol. I liked the original though. Thank you!
Response: Ha, that was my response to the tea as well.
Comment: Absolutely loved the envelope decorations and cute mix of items you sent me! I have to say, the housework PC made me immediately guffaw and my son was quickly wondering what was so funny. Made my day! Thank you for the laugh and fun selection of goodies. :D
Comment: My NYE was chill... Watched the countdown and had a few drinks with some good friends :) I liked the winter box, but I felt meh about it :/ I gave the ear muffs to my niece but kept the rest. I was really hoping for a sweater too! I was like "PLEASE let there be an ugly sweater in here..!!!" Other swappers have told me they would like prompts again for these too. I was thinking I would give like 3 prompts and let it be half topic/half free writing? Thoughts? Or maybe having swappers send me prompts for these lol :)
Response: Both ideas sound good I bet you could find lots of prompts on Pinterest under ‘journaling questions’.
Comment: If I could rate you a zillion fives and a centillion hearts I would! This was BY FAR the nicest most thoughtful "re-send" I've ever gotten in a card swap. You went way above and beyond the call of generous and from the bottom of my heart I thank you! Happiest 2019 to you and yours!
Response: You're too sweet! I'm glad this swap turned out well & who knows maybe the first card will still show up, maybe even for next year LOL
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card and washi samples! (Also the stickers on your card are adorable!) The Little Mermaid prequel is called The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning. I loved that you're grateful for the little things, that's something I want to work on in 2019.
Response: Ahh okay! Yeah, I've never heard of tat movie.
Comment: Hi Kristy! Thanks for the two books! I will read the Paula Hawkins book for sure! And color the other book. It’s perfect as I like today daydream about homes. My day job is innortgage reporting so I get to look at report data on people’s homes. I daydream about decorating them. Thx
Response: Yay! I am so glad you'll enjoy the books! I was happy to see I was matched up to send to a penfriend! :)
Comment: Thanks for sharing the pc and your goals! I thought about baking some cookies from scratch next week with my kids... but I think I might just opt for the Nestle Tollhouse pull apart ones. What will you bake?
Response: I'm making this https://adventuresofmel.com/creamy-no-bake-blueberry-dessert/ but with strawberries instead for once. This dessert is SOOOOOOO good!
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute pug Christmas card I love it! I loved how you decorated the envelope as well. Also thank you for the pug note pad and super cute Washi tape :). Merry Christmas to you!
Comment: You are so kind. Thank you so much for the sweet card. I always loved Anne Geddes. You are so kind. I was just thinking that I needed some Christmas washi. They're both great. Thank you for the note cards, papers...everything is great. You are very kind! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you!
Comment: Fun letter hehe I loved the letter set you used as well! And thank you for the cute memos and Hello Kitty sticker :) Cute stuff! Oh, and I do buy my kawaii online and at my local Sanrio store. I'll msg you the online sites I use k. Talk to you soon!
Comment: I. LOVE. YOUR. SWAPS. The card with the carnival pic is just fantastic. I've pinned it up on the bulletin board next to the other one! Thank you SO MUCH for the Lisa Frank stationary. You rock!
Comment: What a great swap!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ Loved the envelope, then the card inside with the photo of the arcade games...GASP!!! One of my favorite things to photograph!! I loved all the bits and pieces inside too. Those candy corn stickies are being used THIS VERY WEEK, the stickers are hoarded away (that crab hot air balloon made me chuckle!), and that arcade photograph is already on the bulletin board :) Thank you so much! You clearly have a knack for these swaps! ♥ ♥ ♥
Response: Thank you! I enjoy doing these swaps very much! The arcade photo was taken at a penny arcade in Manitou, Colorado :)
Comment: Oh my gosh, so many stickers!!!!!! Thank you! The linticular/flips were awesome and I LOVE those banana cat ones. Sparkly smileys too! Thank you so much! I knew it was gonna be a good day when I saw the fabulous envelope!
Response: Those banana cats are just too cute! I'm glad you enjoyed the swap ;)
Comment: I’m so glad you sent me this narwhal postcard because i have it and love it and have been hesitant to send it out but now i feel free to send it and I can put the one you sent me on my desk. Thank you!
Comment: So so so weird you picked this one because I had it going out for a Put a Forest Critter Swap and the exact same thing happened with the snail PC from this set the exact same day!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I love it! I was saving these crazy ones for a mythical swap or to send to myself!!
Comment: Hi Kristy,
Thanks for the nice train card.
I listen to so much different music that I wouldn't even be able to say what is my favorite. It depends on my mood and what I'm doing.
Best to You,
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! Hope that you get all of your goals done this week that you wrote down! Milk does a body good! That was the old commercial that used to be on TV that ran for years!
Comment: We did the same cruise in July 2017! It was awesome! We were on the Celebrity Millenium! LOVED IT!! I hope you had excellent weather as we did! Our captain said we were closer to the Glacier than he had been able to go in 11 years because the weather was so good!!!
Response: The first cruise we had AWESOME weather but the second one not so much but it was STILL awesome because Alaska!
Comment: Wow, thank you so much for the awesome sticker flakes and all of those extra items! I adore everything!!! I almost thought they were for the Make Someone's Day swap because of all the extra items. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you! Two great pictures. I used to live in Colorado Springs so I know the Garden of the Gods very well! And the washi tape samples....sweet of you to send them. Did you take the photo on the card as well? Looks like a balloon rally somewhere.
Response: Oh perfect! I took the other photo at the Colorado springs balloon festival they have every Labor day! 😃
Comment: Thank you so much for all the kawaii, I've had such a hard time finding Tenorikuma, you just made my day. I also love the card you made, we'll have to drive down to Colorado Springs and check out the hot air balloons!
Response: Oh for sure! They have the lift off at sunrise & after sunset they have a balloon glow!
Comment: Wow, lucky me! Love your envelope and so many extra cards too! It's like I hit the jackpot. Now I never did know that there are Salt Plains in Oklahoma - very cool! One of the vintage ones-from Hawaii-I have that card that my brother sent when he lived there for a time in the 70's-crazy huh! Thanks so much--happy weekend to you Kristy!
Response: The salt plains is an interesting place for sure! It’s worth googling for sure!
Comment: Thanks for the note. My post office is in Norco. I actually live in Eastvale. Ca which use to be part of Corona, Ca but they broke off and became its own city in 2010. Long story.... we will have to Pen Pal about. S lot has changed but the horses are still everywhere in Norco.
Response: Interesting! I haven't been back to California since 2004..I think it would be interesting to see how the area I grew up in has built up.
Comment: Love the Okla. Route 66 card--thanks much!
Zefaniya isn't the town you live in, is it? I can't read a postmark to see where it is you live to be able to spot it on the map. I did notice a town called Anadarko-a company by that name was responsible for a house explosion that killed 2 people in CO because of an uncapped well. Anyway, thanks again for the card!
Response: Nope! I live in Alva which is in the NW part of the state...by the panhandle! :)
Comment: Hi Kristy! Thank you for the share about your vacation - sounds like a bunch of fun! We have never been on a cruise but it is on my bucket list, as is Cozumel! Thank you for the extra goodies as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Outside of Alaska Cozumel is my favorite port! :)
Comment: Wow you went way above and beyond! Thank you SO VERY MUCH for this beautiful Colorado Starbucks mug and ALL of the goodies you tucked in the box with it!! WOW! It is going to take me a good while to go through all of this!! I love the Alice funko peeking at me when I opened the box! Love love love!! Wow!! 10,000 hearts! Thank you so much! The box feels bottomless because it just keeps going and going! xoxox You absolutely made my whole month! xx
Response: That was quick! I am glad you enjoyed the goodies...I had a lot of fun putting it together :)
Comment: Received 2 small tape samples and 5 memosheets, not exactly what I suspected with a swap named 1 oz of kawaii happy mail (it was less then 0.3 oz). But indeed a heavy notecard to protect the memosheets.
Response: I'm sorry you're unhappy with your swap.
Comment: Thank you for the goodies. From the Heart is such a great group. Yes, we still have some snow on the ground. We got six inches last Thursday! Snow showers tomorrow and this Thursday as well. Enough already!
Comment: Hi Kristy! Thank you for the share about your busy weekend! Happy belated Anniversary! How many years? I have seen good things about "I Can Only Imagine" - I never seem to make it to the movies though - sigh! Thank you for the extra goodies as well! Very sweet! Hope you have a great weekend! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: 16 years, thanks! 😄 I’m glad you enjoyed the swap.
Comment: Kristy...thanks for the "stand out" happy mail in my mail box with my utility bills!!!! Thanks for the great selection of PC's you sent and be sure to thank your husband for his years of service! The HM card is so cute!! Happy Easter...Charlene
Comment: Thank you for the book recommendations! I read The Diary of Anne Frank as a youngster. It was a school assignment. Something tells me I'd get more out of it if I read it again now. A Child Called It also sounds good but like a very difficult read. Thanks for all the extras! Have a great day!
Comment: Cool postcard! Hope you were able to accomplish your goals. Definitely hope you're feeling better!!
P.S. Looks like the post office considers the card "over sized" & it takes a $0.50 stamp instead if postcard stamps.
Comment: Thank you! Love this postcard! Me and my daughter hiked to Abrams Falls a couple years ago. We were only planning on a picnic in the Smokies but ended up at Cades Cove, which is one of my favorite places. I walked almost all the way to the falls barefoot. It was easier than walking in my flip flops! I'm always barefoot, so it actually was normal for me... :)
Comment: Thanks for the great card, Kristy! I've been thru Skagway too-a Princess Cruise close to 20 years ago now. My shore excursion was the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad which was fun. I don't think I have a card from there that shows ships in port, so it's a great one for my collection. thanks again!
Response: I wanted to do that Yukon pass both Alaskan cruises but at the time I didn't have a passport..maybe next time! You're welcome!
Comment: Hey Kristy! Super cute envelope! Thank you and I loved reading about you and your likes! Thank you for ll the extras! Hope you and your cute little pugs and husband have a wonderful weekend and Easter :]
Comment: Thanks for all the zoo-licious kawaii! The postcards are cool, too. Funny thing, they're from Homer, Alaska, and I've been there quite a few times since we lived in Anchorage for a year. Nice coincidence! =)
Comment: So much glitter! I loved living in Alaska so much. Adjusting to Oklahoma hasn't been easy, but at least I wasn't here in 2011 & 2012. I hear those were terrible years to be alive in OK.
I'm thinking your eyes should not squeak. I'm a little disturbed by that!
Response: I've only lived in OK the past 13 months but I am glad I have not had to personally experience a tornado though. I am sure moving from AK to OK was a bit of 'culture shock' like it was for me moving from Colorado.
Comment: Thank you Kristy for such a fun swap! I love this swap. Never joined one like this and I really like the risk of getting and sending unknown stuff to people. It was a lot of fun and I love what you sent! What fun washi! And I love the pc's too! My fav's were the sailing ship one and the old church in the Netherlands. Love the happy decorated envie too! :)
Response: I'm really glad that my idea for the swap is getting across :) Glad you enjoy it!
Comment: Thanks so much for the adorable Mickey and Minnie card and the postcards. Check out the Letter Writing Team at www.soldiersangels.org to write to soldiers. Merry Christmas. (I hope I'm rating for the right swap. There's wasn't a swap title.)
Response: That was the organization I was with for 10 years but when they changed things they booted me out 0_o
Comment: I hope I am rating you for the correct swap. You did not put the name of the swap anywhere. I really like the owl card and the PC'S. I Don't have any comic PC. Merry Christmas! 12/8 I just got Disney card and some postcards for you. This swap was written on the envelope. So I must have you as a partner for another swap. I will try to find it and rate you there.
Response: Awesome! It should've been on the flap of the envelope :)
Comment: Girl!!!! I am OBSESSED with the postcards that you send me. I ADORE them....Already put a few of them on the wall next to my desk so I can stare at them. And I LOVED the envelope and how it was decorated. You made my week!!! Thank you!!!
Comment: Thanks for your cheery note and extra goodies! I love those mini biblical coloring cards and have already colored one of them. :) No worries on not stamping biblical words on white paper; I love all colors and will definitely have fun using the ones you sent!!
Comment: Yummy food! All my favorites! Thanks for the good meal. Sorry it took so long to let you know. I'm scrambling to catch up after a nice visit with my brother and his wife who just moved to Chicago from Boston.
Comment: Belated thank you for the cool collage card, Kristy -- I feel a kinship with it because my parents went to school in Baltimore :) -- and for sharing with me some of your obsessions! I also love the Trader Joe's fruity popsicle sticker; I am so excited that we are finally getting one later next month after experiencing its goodness in Texas! Hope you're enjoying this Sunday!
Response: Yay! So exciting! Next month we're getting one within a 3 hour drive!! lol
Comment: Hi Kristy! How wonderful about your hubby's unexpected four day weekend! I love when fun things like that happen! Are you having fun with your iPhone? Comment: Thank you for the adorable Bambi and Thumper card! I have actually never seen it in its entirety, just excerpts. (I remember how grave the loss of Bambi's mother was.) Come to think of it, I have also never seen all of Dumbo or The Fox and the Hound! Hope you're having a good week!
Comment: Thanks for your note. I've been to Alaska, but have no taken the cruise. We visited friends who lived outside of Anchorage. My son had 3 pugs, 1 and then after he died, 2 more. They were very cute, but he got tired of all the congenital diseases, so when they died, he got a dot with a real NOSE! LOL.
Comment: Oh my goodness! I adore the goodies you sent me, especially the rilakkuma and the capuri mono stickers and tarepanda memos!! Ok, who am I kidding? I love everything! SOO adorable!! Thank you so much!
