Comment: Thanks for the beautiful postcards. Lovely selection there. And the "you are beautiful" stickers are such lovely extras too. Just shared them with my family as a constant reminder that we r beautiful! 😊
Comment: First of all, this PC is SUPER cool ♥ And all the kitty decorations are wonderful! Oh no, though, reading your response made my heart hurt. I'm so sorry you had that happen to you! I would have cried for sure!
Response: So glad you enjoyed! Yes, quite tramatic :) Fortunately the camera could be repaired. Thanks for the Heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the extra cards! Love them!!
PS - Nonprofit and Presorted Standard stamps are only to be used by Non Profit businesses and bulk mailing businesses. You must have a Permit Imprint from the USPS in order to use them. Your postcard would be postage due when it got back to you so I slapped on an extra .11 cent stamp on it :)
Comment: Hi Cathy! Wow, this got here fast! Thanks for sending a postcard from your current area. It's beautiful! I hope you're enjoying this trip with your family and that everyone is well. Mrs. Laning sounds absolutely lovely and I wish everyone could have a teacher like her! It's also great to read that you kept in touch for years after. Thank you again!
Comment: Thank you for sending that trio of traveling postcards for the next swap. I absolutely love the blueberry PC you've sent as an extra. Thank you for all the goodies and kind message. The painting by Edward Hopper on the card is beautiful. The captured scene looks so quiet and peaceful.
Comment: Thank you for the Easter Card and the note. Here in Arizona, It was in the 90"s last week...I hope spring comes back. Happy Easter and enjoy spring. The stamps on the envelope will be a great addition to my collection, since I do not have either of them.
Comment: Thank you, Cathy, for the lovely swap! I loved the floral postage stamps you used and the simple dragonfly sticker on the envelope. The fuchsia and black peacock feather embossed note was simply lovely. And if course I LOVED the Love stamps you enclosed for me and the hot air balloon PC. Thank you for making this such a lovely swap. I will forward your postcard in the next round. 😊... Karla, 4/9/22
Response: So glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Loved the card and the story! I live in the country as well and enjoy it very much. Not a city girl at all but I do enjoy the shopping when I go LOL. 45 minutes to get to any real shopping.
I love your handwriting too along with the stickers & stamps you chose!
Comment: What fantastic extras! I am familiar with Edward Gorey, as a matter of fact I was just talking about him to one of my friends the other day, and we agreed that while we don’t normally like pen and ink drawings, we are both big fans of his!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard. It was great reading that you want to take more day trips around where you live. That is great that you can be part of your dad's care team. Probably the most difficult but rewarding experience you can have. I know parts of rural upstate NY - my dad and his family were from the Canton/Potsdam area and many still live in the area. I loved spending time there when i was a kid. I grew up in the Rochester, NY area. i live in Cave Creek, which isn't too far from Fountain Hills. That's a pretty town.
Comment: I got home from visiting Michigan last night and today I opened a wonderful surprise of an envelope. Thank you so much for the travelers (passing along) and for the extras (stickers, atc, note card, pickle holiday card, p/c (( yes adorable family photo)) all in a lovely stork note card with kinds words. This was a truly pleasing envelope to open. Thank you so very much. I felt your passion for sending kindness thru the mail.
Comment: Thank you so much for the absolutely beautiful stickers! Well above what was required, and just so very nice! Thank you for reading my profile, and thank you for the sweet card - I very much appreciate that you took time to actually write a note, not just the swap name. I will sent the postcard on to a new home very soon!
Comment: Thank you So Much, for the envelope of fun! I enjoyed sorting through it all. Loved reading your letter! Raising ducks sounds joyful. I’ve heard your area is beautiful! I liked the quote & will look into that book. The artful peacock paper napkin is very pretty, love the extra postcards (didn’t have either & cherish them) & love the assortment of stickers! I love Mrs. G’s (worked at & the Container Store in college & would use my discount to buy them 😄); I am not that familiar with Pipsticks, though. Thanks a bunch! 💕 ~ Z
Comment: What a lovely note card you used. Inspires me to go out and take pictures and make my own. Thank you also for the stamp and the stickers which I do not think I could part with. Love the Pooh characters. Passing along both p/cs on the next round.
Comment: I can honestly say I haven’t ever received one as bizarrely shaped as this one. I love it! ❤️ I will have to look up the artist and see more of their work and definitely keep the museum in mind if I visit NYC! Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I like bridges too so I was very excited to see this postcard and the Brooklyn Bridge stamp. I wish the post office would issue a three-stamp set of the Roeblings, with the bridge in the background.
Comment: Thanks for the map of America in 1617! It's crazy how it really looks compared to this. I'm sure it was very hard to figure out by just seeing on thr ground. Thanks for the nice message too! Love the stamps.
Comment: Thank you so much, I absolutely adore that notecard, I really love it. I would be terrified to move after all this time, with over 20 years of "stuff" to sort through lol. Good luck in your move!!!!!
Comment: Thank you so very much for using a squirrel card to write me on. I just love it. I also "really" appreciate the stickers and stamps you sent along. Sending this card on its next round. Thank you again for a nice swap. Enjoy your time in June--officiating your nieces wedding.
Comment: Cathy, I just wanted to thank you for making this swap extra special! The card with its hand debossed image and your neat handwriting in fountain pen is visually striking. Thank you also for the very nice stickers. ❤️❤️❤️
Comment: Wow, what a great swap! Love the card with the similar themed stamp. Your note is very appreciated.
We’ll be using that list during a spring visit to NYC. 😁
Thanks again & I wish you all the best.
Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Have a wonderful visit. thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard. It was great to get this bring and cheerful "Christmas" card in my post box on Saturday. The Christmas tree and presents at the back made it safely and unharmed. :)
Comment: Hello and many thanks for your lovely postcard. I greatly appreciate it. I hope you are well and may your mailbox overflow with postcards from all over. I will be sharing your postcard on my Instagram page (trishaspostcards) as well as on my Facebook Page (Trisha's Postcards). Have a fantastic day and happy swapping!

Comment: Wow! Where to begin? The unique card was great! I really commend you supporting a local artist and sharing such a special local holiday tradition with me. I liked the way you 'snaked' your writing around the card. I haven't seen someone do that and I'm totally stealing your idea! ; ) I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season and that life (for all of us) can return to normalcy soon. Best, Rick
Comment: Thank you so much for passing on Aurora's card. I also really love the Harry Potter stickers, geisha envelopes and postcards, really kind of you!!! I had a blast watching the elections but I can imagine that it was getting a bit much for you all. Here we have a warm fall too (64F) which is extreme normal temperatures are around 50F
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful envelope. The stamps are great. I have never heard of Colbert's work but I love the image. I am going to use the stamps on the envelope to decorate a page of my journal to show the countries I have been getting mail from.
Response: So glad you liked the stamps! Happy mails
Comment: Love the skyline on the card, so pretty! The stamps are great too. I had a job that changed to 100% from home and it gave me mixed feelings too. It's hard when you don't get out during the day.
Comment: CATHYYYYYY! What a treasure! From the beautiful butterfly stamps on the envelope to the PLETHORA of amazing and fun stickers, down to the YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL (no, you are!) stickers that I cannot wait to put on everything, this was just a GIFT and a HALF. The cat butt stickers almost killed me. My fav fav favs are the gilded beetles. And the Frida cards, thank you for sharing. I love them all. Thanks so much for spoiling me! So glad you have your employment; I'm grateful for mine at this time too. THANKS! :):):)
Response: I am so glad that the selection was a hit! I had so much fun putting it together for you! Happy mails!
Comment: Ah, the Cape, such a delightful summer destination :-) So glad you got to see your dad in person - that's been such a hard thing..Thanks for the lovely card, vintage postage and use of colored pen!
Comment: Hi Cathy! I'm so sorry that you couldn't spend more time with your dad - all this COVID stuff is so crazy and I'm so, so over it. Was the weather nice up there? I've never been up north and I think I'd love to go to Cape Cod someday. Thank you so much for the awesome postcard from there as well! That was incredibly sweet of you. (I also love the mermaid sticker and the vintage postage stamps - so, so awesome.) Take care and stay safe!!! <3
Response: So glad that you enjoyed the PC. We had gorgeous weather, with one day of rain, which I also liked! If you like the beach, bay or ocean, the Cape is spectacular. Stay safe!
Comment: Received the traveling PCs and will pass them on next round. Thank you for the postcard to keep and for your note... Best wishes! edited to add: Almost forgot to thank you for the tea which I can't wait to try... I'm a fan of licorice! =)
Comment: Thanks for the card. I love reading about the hotel. Thanks for the extra postcards. I had my first visit to Warm Springs last spring as a field trip with my students. It was one stop over a 3-day adventure. I will continue the postcard in the next round.
Comment: Great pc, Cathy, thankyou! Sparky, the store dog looks very important sitting on his stack of books! The quote, the postage stamps and the row of books (sticker I think!) under my address were fabulous. Can you tell I really love what you sent? All the best, Tracy.
Comment: Thank you so much for the great postcard! The Met is a museum I definitely want to see someday. I saw the Delacroix exhibit last summer when it was here at the Louvre. You are definitely right about seeing the evolution of his art; you could almost see his state of mind at certain points. His painting, La Liberté Guidant le Peuple, is so iconic to France that they teach about it, and him, in the language courses here. Thanx again!
Comment: Thank you fuor all the extra goodies you included in the swap...love the shaped paperclips especially and the new postcards...so much goodness! I will be happy to forward the PC in the next round! I love seeing where they have all traveled, too! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Comment: Thanks! I will send this forward in Round #83. Thanks too for the wonderful extras wolf, and whale and herring PC! I love Charlie Hopper's work! The birdie and envelope stamp is cool! Did you make that one? We seem to have less time, now that we are retired than we did when we were both working full time with all kinds of outside interests! Don't know how we ever found time for work! LOL Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ I love my card! I love reading about your dogs -I am the aunt of a Great Pyrenees-My niece has one. I love the idea your Sammy is watching over the Bronx. I love New York. My husband’s from Long Island near Hofstra-he came south for college and it was so much less expensive here but I love Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens all different but such great food and things to do. My card is sitting on my desk proudly! Thank you.
Response: so glad you enjoyed it! Pyrs are great dogs and quite the characters! NYC is just getting more and more expensive unfortunately... still a great city... Happy mails, thanks for the heart!

Comment: Cathy--what a delightful swap from my favorite city in the US. I haven't been there since 2010 and have been thinking I need to get another trip in soon. I will be 70 next April---a fact I am trying to wrap my head around. 50 and 60 were no big deals, but 70 seems more like becoming OLD! That's why I want to get to the city pretty soon so that I am still able to put in the amount of walking it requires.I will need to give in and get the left hip replaced---arthritis is really my enemy! Both knees are totally replaced and then I'll have the hip totally replaced as well with the other one coming along fairly soon also. I'll feel like the bionic woman! Then I should be able to walk in NYC as well if not better than my daughter. She gives in to the cold faster than I do--both of our trips were in December because I was still teaching and it was either December or summer (not my favorite season anywhere--it lasts 6 months here! So, now I'm thinking April or October--I love spring and autumn and don't really have autumn here at all and spring is just a bit of a change as much is green here all winter. Anyway, thanks so much for the perfect card, the freebie postcard from Grand Central. When we were there, I just wanted to stand on a wide area on the stairs and watch the people going so fast to get to next train or to work, etc. I, too, wondered how many fascinating stories could be written about each person of groups of people. Happy Swapping---Peggy
Comment: Thank you for the swap and the extra postcard! I love the covered bridge! We live in the woods, too, but if we have water, it's because it has rained too much! haha Moving water is wonderful! I agree about the loss of local postcards. I have made my own postcards with my photos and postcard backs from Amazon. I to make them very much, but some swappers don't like "homemade" cards. Thanks again! - love the newsy letter!
Comment: Thank you! Where do you go in upstate NY? We lived in Schroon Lake for two years and used to visit often. We have a Pyrenees mix for several years too; what great dogs.
Response: Wow, we are in Shushan in Washington County about an hour from Saratoga and a 20 mins from Manchester, VT. Agricultural county...we love it! Pyrs are the best! But not for the faint at heart, our girl is the stubbornest dog I have ever met and a sweetheart at the same time! Nice to meet you in the mails!
Comment: Wow what a beautiful card you sent me. A good friend of mine and her husband just spent three months in AZ and my sister took a vacation there not too long ago~Thanks so much Cathy for all of the cute stickers and extras! You must have looked at my profile for some ideas~Happy Valentine's Day!
Comment: I LOVE IT! And my favorite, favorite Doctor, too! I'm excited about the first woman Doctor - it will definitely be interesting! And the clock postage stamps, too! Timey-wimey, all right! Thanks so much!
Comment: Imagine that is why chickens have been so popular over time - for the stew pot, for display, etc., its that 13 seconds, not being able to get away from us. Yes, I love birds too, they show up from time to time here in Central FL - Ibis, Egrets, hawks, eagles, in addition to wild birds. A pair of mourning doves have built nest in tree just outside my apt bldng. Hope you had a good February.
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard. I saw this set on Amazon and debated on purchasing them or not. Looks like I just may after seeing the quality of them! I haven't seen the new movie yet. Hopefully soon though!
Comment: Thankee for the cardboard. Loved the Doctor Who stamps!
PS: There is actually a graphic novel crossover between Star Trek: The Next Generation and Doctor Who. It includes both the fourth and eleventh Doctors. I highly recommend it!
Comment: How wonderful of you to send the Cape Cod Railroad tickets. And in red and green, just in time for Christmas! You're so thoughtful! The card, with the bunnies and birds mailing their letters, was adorable, too. Have a very Merry Christmas! And, just received your postcard - it's nice to see a rather quirky view that's a reminder of home.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely card, nice quote/Christmas gift suggestions and the little extra's :-) So sweet to pick something 'owl related'. Have a great X-mas yourself and I also want to wish you a good 2017!!! <3 Ellen
Comment: Ohj my, your beautiful card and all the specials that came my way! I would give you hearts forever. Oren Arnold--I shall pass top others. Stamps, I love. My daughter is a social worker in Gardner. I shall share this card with her. Thanks ever so much.

Comment: Thank you for the great card. I had that expression this afternoon. LOL. We haven' had good color here this year as we still haven't had hard freeze. Todays high temp was 81 deg and it is now 73 at 9:15.pm.

Response: So glad it reached you... and the other...hmmm one can only wonder. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Such an awesome PC and what a great idea for a park. My son and I loved visiting NYC a few years ago and can't wait to go again. My husband had moved to Chicago in the early '90's. He grew up in Brooklyn and worked in Manhattan for years. He had not been back in a very long time. We were able to see where he grew up and also turned him into a tourist to show us the sites (stuff he didn't do much as a New Yorker - lol). Take care, Annette
Comment: Hello! Your postcard arrived! How wonderful to receive a Happy Potter postcard in my mail box! Hermione is so cute. :) The stamps are also Harry Potter! That made me happy, too. Thank you very much for me to choose and send me a card. :)
Comment: I really want to visit NYC. I've see "big cities" but I think NYC would be amazing. Where did you get the address label sticker? I really want some cute ones! Heart because the stamps made me smile.
Comment: So sorry for the delayed rate, especially since this is such a seriously amazing PC. I've never received a PC that wasn't mostly square sides, much less the shape of a statue. So jealous of your access to the met! Lovely swapping with you, thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for the great TARDIS/Oval Office card (I thought of House of Cards and Veep when I saw it XD), sticker, and vintage postage (the red Jefferson is one of my favorites :) Glad to meet a fellow LWA member and Wes Anderson film lover! I will have to check out the book club page and those titles -- I have been hearing good things about Anna Quindlen's new book -- and it doesn't hurt that the cover is dreamy like an indie record sleeve :) Happy weekend, and thank you again!
Comment: Dear Cathy, thank you so much for the lovely postcard. Love it!! I'm glad you're enjoying this time of the year in NY, must be so pretty! Hope you had an amazing Halloween, I know I did, hope you too!! :D
Comment: Cathy, Thanks so much for the stamps and stickers! I love the way you are putting the bodies under the head stamps. I tried it with the Johnny Cash stamp, I drew a body, didn't look so good. Lol..... I'm enjoying these swaps, also. Thanks for giving me a Happy Mail Day! ♥♥♥♥
Comment: Thanks, Cathy, for the Happy Mail! Love the Doctor PC's and Zebra sticker! Also, I'm running low on interesting postage, and your envie reminded me to get some. I needed a pick me up today and your swap gave it to me! = ) ♥♥♥

Comment: Thanks Cathy, for the great card. I'm going to make copies of both sides before I soak and plant this. Will let you know if it blooms! Your neighbourhood sounds really interesting, why is it called Hell's Kitchen?
Response: So glad you liked it! I will be very curious to see if it grows! Hell's Kitchen--name goes back to the 1800's when the area was notoriously tough and dangerous....
Comment: LOVE the embossing and message! Great job! I was in your neighborhood a few years ago. I loved visiting NYC but you can keep the weather! Thanks for doing a swap the way it should be done! Over the Top! ♥♥♥
Response: Thanks, so glad you enjoyed!!! Appreciate the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I'll be sure to forward it on to its origin. The extra envelopes were a thoughtful touch. Have fun in Vietnam. I spent a little bit of time there on holiday when I lived in Cambodia. Hanoi is beautiful.

Comment: Nice to have a whole group of H.P fans to enjoy the books and movies together. Excited to hear J.K is going to do the prequel trilogy? Five years ago I got to go to Hogwarts (Orlando) for five days and it was great. Now that they have two separate areas and a working train I am dying to see it all over again.
Response: wow, I would love to visit. My nephew, brother and I did attend the Quidditch World Cup that was held in NYC for two years--group of college kids turned it into an intramural game. Fun, cool... Yes, look forward to the prequel!
Comment: Wow, thank you Cathy for the Barred Owl postcard with the Owl postage stamps you sent to me for the swap! And thank you for the lovely quote you wrote on the postcard for me. Keeping this PC for display in my apt. Thanks for cheering me.

Comment: Thank you for the extra pcs and I absolutely love the subway note card. I hung it on the wall of my craft room. Last weekend I went to Gardner and saw the BIG chair. Next weekend I will past the half way mark of 176 towns.
Comment: ok, there's nothing you can do about the PC you send (not that there's anything wrong with this one)... but wow! you sent some awesome extras! not only did you use cool stamps on the envie, you included some really cool uncancelled stamps on the inside! sweetness! best little swap i've received in awhile - really made my day. Thanks!
Response: I am so happy that you enjoyed it!! Love putting it together... happy swapping!

Comment: Thank you for the neat PC! I loved the turkey stamped on it and the postage stamps that you used. I have never heard of "Bell's" stuffing so this was an interesting PC to receive and to read your comments about it.
Comment: Cathy, your card arrived in the mail today. I don't know what delighted me more, the wintery New Yorker magazine cover, the Christmas stamps you used, or the red ink! Thank you so much, I wish you a wonderful 2014 :)
Comment: Cathy...THANKS for the REALLY cool recycled card. I love how you used the cut outs on black :) And the old "vintage stamps" are WAY awesome and arrived without even being postmarked (SCORE...mint condition!!!) Hope you are enjoying all the hustle and bustle of the holidays in the "Big Apple" and may life be "chemistry" pleasing to you as it was as a child :)....Charlene
Comment: Hi Cathy! Your stamp book made it to Oregon! That owl is so cute! Thank you for those adorable sticker sets! I will be using them soon! Funny you should mention the mail art conference in February! I am going to it and sent some things in, too! I will look for you there and in the catalog! I have not met Jennie in person, although she grew up just a short hop on the freeway from my house! She seems like a real firecracker! Don't know how she keeps up with all that she does! My calligraphy teacher loaned me her book to read; so many great ideas! My two sons live in The Bay Area, so I will get to celebrate my birthday with them while at the conference in San Francisco! Thank you for taking the time to write that nice letter! Hope our paths will cross again! Take care, Karen
Response: Hope you enjoyed the conference! I saw lots of wonderful pics on facebook and got the catalog (so proud to be included in this amazing exhibit!!).
Comment: thank you...I wonder what the Rum Cakes taste like!!! I served at Italian weddings in my teens and they always served cream filled goodies and very moist cakes...and had live bands too back then.
Comment: Hello! I think this is a fun swap too, I remember when I was building up my swaps so that I could join. I haven't gotten mine back yet either. I hope both arrive back to us safely. I agree Paris is great and my boyfriend and I also love traveling. We recently went to Vermont, since neither of us had been there.Congrats on having your piece in the exhibit. I did not know that those types of exhibits existed, that is awesome. Thank you so much for the extras and the beautiful envelope, you didn't have to do that, I love everything.
Comment: The traveling pc arrived today along with the extra goodies. I love the owl stickers and Halloween pc. I may be going to visit Gardner this weekend. Hubby is planning the route and mentioned Gardner and the giant chair. :)
Response: How cool. I used to live on Chapel st on the corner of Willis Rd. Enjoy your wanderings!!!
Comment: Must. Resist. Ice. Cream. Bars. They sound promising. Glad to hear they were bland, cuz I wouldn't want to be more tempted to try them. Those chocolate covered bars always crack when I bite them and the chocolate flakes off onto my lap. I'd give you two hearts if I could for using a very nice fountain pen, and remembering to identify it and the ink. Why aren't you in my fountain pen letter swaps - with a pen like that, you are definitely someone I want to talk to! http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/view_participants.php?id=158182
Comment: Neat Nestle PC. Creatively decorated too. They say the highest form of flattery is to copy something. Well I am going to copy your idea in the future. Thanx for sharing with me. I hope you have an awesome weekend. blessings, ellie
Comment: What a surprise to receive two wonderful postcards for this swap... the ad postcard is one of the most beautiful that I've ever seen and the nautical map of Nantucket...WOW! Comment: Cathy, thanks for the interesting card. I get to the City about twice a year and the High Line park is on my list for next time. There's never enough time for NYC. UPDATE: Arrggh! I forgot to put the rating. Just did :~
Comment: It is a very cool card! I think that the sailor and his bird stayed behind on a tropical island where their ship stopped for supplies. The ship left without them, and they couldn't be happier!
Comment: Thanks for the sweet free postcard :) I like it! And I heard about the Bullett magazine before. I'm a magazine lover so I'm interested about all magazines. I want to read magazines from other countries :)
Comment: You have just introduced me to a great illustrator! His black and white illustrations are amazing, I will also try to find some of his books! I love finding something new, that's when the whole swapping idea makes most sense!!! Thank you!
P.S. Iris is my favorite flower, too!
Response: I am so happy to introduce you to Gorey!! Enjoy discovering his worlds!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful postcard! I really enjoyed reading a bit about your life. I must say my wife is jealous that you have a corgi. She really wants one, but we already have a 5 year old cock-a-poo who is a very jealous a**. =) He won't even let me get close to her without whining lol. Thank you so much for sharing with me and for such a great swap! Happy Swapping!
Comment: Nice but have to ask was it torn in half? I'm guessing not since half of your sentences were missing. Dang postal system! It tore right below addy ;( love owls myself. We have a local owl that visits frequently in our neighbors tree! Thank you so much for sharing!
Response: Oh that is awful and it was already on the small size...How great to have an owl visitor! Look out for a a little postal surprise....
Comment: Thank you SO much for the postcard you've sent me! You have no idea how perfect it fit! :) I'd love to tell you more about this and me, would you write me your address via private message please? I'm unsure if I read it right on the postcard. :/
Comment: Thank you for the postcard of the Florida Keys! I loved it! I got the postcard that's traveling, too, (Glenda aka @lilacnyellow) so I'll send it off next round. Loved your owl address stamp, too!
Comment: Your journal deserves much more than one heart, it is above and beyond what I would have ever expected for this type of swap!! I cannot wait to get to sit down and actually read it all!! I am so sorry that your October ended with such destruction from hurricane Sandy. :( I am from upstate NY and seeing a hurricane hit NY/NJ is just mind blowing to me. Snowstorms I remember well but never do I remember having such a destructive storm hitting the north east like that. :(
Comment: Beautiful cardboard box as a pc. When I first saw it I thought it was an actual touristy pc! Didn't know why I was getting it since I was only in recycled cardboard pc swaps!! Hope you enjoyed the taffy! :) great stamps and embellishments too!! Thanks!
Comment: Thankyou for the wondeful postcard and stamps. I loved examining the detal on each one, and it interesting how you found edward hopper stamps to match the edward hopper card!
This is a special card. And for the two quotes too :]
Comment: A very fun postcard, thanks for two quotes and notes about your migration from Cape Cod to Manhattan -- maybe you'll come back with it's retirement time. Big lifestyle change but I was ready for it.
Comment: I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR CARD!!! Thank you so much, the quotes are amazing, the card is astonishing, your handwriting (and your signature, OMG) is elegant, the stamps are unbelievable... Thank you!! (and sorry it took so long, it just arrived today :-( )

Comment: Hello Cathy,
Thank you for the two quotes you sent me as part of the Quotecard Postcard #59. Both quotes share how to deal with LIFE. I love the quote you shared from Reba McEntire. I will add both of these to my Quote Collection.
Comment: Thank you so very much for the wonderful package of ephemera - hands down the best package I've ever received on swap bot! There were so many great things I don't know where to start, but my favorites were definitely the first day set of owl stamps and the beautiful postcards! This swap deserves a thank you package! <3

Response: Always glad for a safe arrival :). I have two great sources for vintage stamps, a stamp collecting store on my street (i buy only face value of course!) and Errol Murphy who has a sub program and sends monthly allotments. glad you enjoyed them!
Comment: You've outdone yourself this time! I love the Frida theme SO much. Unbelievable as it may sound, I have not seen a Harry Potter movie nor read the books. Your great Valentine cardboard scrap may be the push I need to get on the bandwagon! Love the card and many thanks!!
Comment: Thanks for your great list! And those awesome stamps -- I didn't know the PO was putting them out. Must get me some!! Nova Scotia looks beautiful; adding to my list of places I want to visit. Thanks!

Have a wonderful Christmas, and a Happy New Year! hugs, teresa
Comment: I grew up outside of Boston in a town called Weston and we had a second home in Falmouth. I love Massachusetts more than any other state and was just back to visit over Thanksgiving. We actually had Thanksgiving dinner at Plymouth Plantation and it was a lot of fun. Thank you for the love card and the beautiful extra and I wish you and your family and wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2011! Anna
Comment: I really enjoyed sharing your Leonard Cohen lyrics with my husband & I was so glad he loved them before I told him whose they were. The man never hits a false note, does he? I sometimes think how lucky we are to be around in his lifetime, although I don't know why that should particularly matter since I've never seen him play live. Thank you so much!
Comment: Cathy...Sorry about the delay in rating.
I truly loved the card. Frida Kahlo sounds very interesting. And I love the way you decorated the card with the dancing frog, etc. ! Thanks so very much ! ~Gail
Comment: Love your PC and the little green butterfly stickers. What a neat artist, so many natural images that I love. Your quote is also so right on. The stamps were beautiful. I look forward to your surprise envie. Way cool! Cheers, LPV

Comment: Thanks for the cool post card & info about ESB. I will be making my 1st trip to NYC in Oct. for my 40th wedding anniversary with husband & 2 adult children. Looking forward to seeing the sights. Marsha
