Response: Please, I would enjoy hearing from you, either by snail or electronic mail.
Response: I dislike sweet gum balls as well. I would never have chosen those as my front yard trees, but they are lovely now. I think my son is a bit easier to wake up now that he's 25.
Response: Sadly I have gotten Covid. This is the first day I feel like I can get a few things done. I'm glad you liked my effort, I always feel that I don't know enough about design to go a good job.
Response: Thank you! And thank goodness for ugly swaps!
Response: Not quite a book a day, but usually I read more than I did this month. I like light books, so they tend to go faster than "Where the Crawdads Sing." :)
Response: I love the desert, so different than back East. Enjoy the Smokies, they are lovely too.
Response: I hope you enjoy them as I have.
Response: Nothing like a nice cup of tea, is there? Thanks for letting me know.
Response: Yes, there was one more book. I will try to send again.
Response: I lived in Princeton, grew up in Kendall Park. My husband and I met contra and English Country Dancing, and still have friends from dancing. One couple lives on Harlingen Road in a cool old house.
Response: I'm glad I could brighten your day, and the mailman's! Thank you!
Response: Have you visited Absecon lighthouse? It is a favorite, since it's close to Atlantic City, and is tall.
Response: It was fun to watch and the kids enjoyed the wet!
Response: You're welcome! They are favorites of mine!
Response: Sadly, Monticello doesn't let the public into that little house to read or write. I can see their point, but yes, it would be great to be there.
Response: I would sure love to visit Glacier National Park, but who knows when that might happen. I have to be content with Shenandoah National Park and state parks here. Thank you!
Response: Glad you got it. My partner had to send twice, the mail doesn't seem to like oversized cards. :P
Response: Cool! Then you were the right person to receive it.
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you like the bracelet, I had fun making it.
Response: This was a bit of a hot button issue for me. It seems very short sighted to drop established authors in favor of unknowns. I also avoid celebrity authors since they aren't writers and many have ghosts writing for them.
Response: Thank you for your kind words! I enjoyed making the key ring, and I'm glad you will enjoy it.
Response: I hope you like it!
Response: Let me know how it works out.
Response: Oh, you made my day. I'm glad I found the right combo of things for you.
Response: We like lots of things there. Yum!
Response: I was very careful to not pick up a book I may already own, so I may have left one or two I should've bought. My best find though was not for me, but my husband. He was away on business, so I picked up three of the Quarry series by Max Allan Collins. He was thrilled! I did by the very silly Mad Magazine Bathroom Companion. I loved the comic when I was a kid, and this had a lot of the old cartoons.
Response: Happy Spring to you! I hope you are feeling better.
Response: It was! I had fun putting yours together.
Response: I highly recommend in town vacations, particularly now with high gas prices. T
Response: Hee, hee! I thought that would be fun.
Response: I'm glad you can use it! It must be the scent the store uses, I haven't added anything.
Response: Yes, I'm sorry I can't stay there.
Response: I hope your house hunting will be successful!
Response: To you as well! Corned beef is easy, just boil it for hours. And I hope you do get to see the green river of Chicago!
Response: I find small projects fun but less satisfying. Not sure quite why, but something to do with showing off, I think. Look at this hard pattern I finished, or something like that.
Response: I learned about the tea from another Swap-botter. They aren't especially flavorful, but they sure are fun wrappers. We had a bit of spring last week, I know it's coming!
Response: I don't know if it is still a going concern, it may just be a tourist site. I do remember old cowboy shows and movies being set in Virginia City.
Response: Thank you for your comments. I hadn't made the candy store connection, but it is like that. I remember being bored out of my mind in middle school, and I am never bored anymore. My mother was against buying books, and our library was far away. I never wanted to experience that again!
Response: I just got back from a mini trip to Colonial Williamsburg. It really does brighten one's perspective to get away. Enjoy your trip!
Response: You're welcome! Enjoy your mosquito!
Response: Good to have confirmation that these post offices looked alike, and I suspect it was the same card for all.
Response: No, after the first storm, we have kept power. I am so glad! Thanks for asking!
Response: I am glad I had some things you would enjoy. I'm a pack rat, and I'm happy to share.
Response: Thank you, you too!
Response: Thank you! I do wish I had gotten more accomplished.
Response: Thank you! You are kind to say so.
Response: We are still celebrating. My kids have jobs that require them to work Christmas, so we will open presents tomorrow. I'm glad you finally got something from me. Happy New Year!
Response: I will speak to him about your info. I'm waiting for him to make his EP and perhaps I can get that to you.
Response: I was wondering whether it got lost. Thanks for rating!

Response: I have been hearing you are in a very rough patch. I keep thinking of you.
Response: I hope you enjoy the tea I sent and have a fun Advent!
Response: Thank you! I hope you have a magical Halloween too!
Response: Sure, I'm always up for a meet up. Send me a message when you are free. Also, maybe you would like to join my group the Virginia Craft Club?
Response: You're welcome! I hope health issues simmer down for you.
Response: I was thinking it would be cool curled into circles and added to a picture or earrings. I had my house rewired and have quite a bit of it. It could also be sold at a scrap yard.
Response: It was fun! So far, at our end of Shenandoah the leaves have not yet changed.
Response: We were just in Hungry Mother State Park, stayed in a CCC built cabin. It was lovely. I remember my boss in NJ telling me this factoid, and it was fascinating.
Response: I think we are bored with Covid and want to get out again!
Response: You're welcome! I have much more cringe inducing sentiments inside some of the Thinking of You cards I own. Maybe I'll be brave enough to send them in the future.
Response: I love Chattanooga! Sounds like your part is a favorite of mine too.
Response: Wonderful! It sounds like you like that one as much as I do.
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you can appreciate the weird that comes my way.
Response: Thank you! You're very kind. Have a great day!
Response: Me too, although it is a bit cooler now.
Response: I've never been to Disneyland, it is on my list though. Have a wonderful time!
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked them.
Response: Perhaps a peach tea? I love tea, as you may have guessed. I hope you find what you're craving.
Response: It has a special place in my heart, though it is stomach turning. Thank you!
Response: You're welcome! Sometime I will get back to Jamestown and look at it when it isn't 95 degrees!
Response: Thank you for the heart! Maybe next year will be good for travel.
Response: I learn things from the odd postcards I pick up. Bless the internet!
Response: Thank you! I guess you can tell a piece of my heart will be in NJ. Did you get much flooding?
Response: You're welcome! I enjoy sticking stamps on postcards, and I have so many!
Response: What is the series called? I'm not sure I've read that one.
Response: We had a lovely time. We've also decided we need to go back to both cities, we've done the tourist stuff and need to actually enjoy the architecture.
Response: Talk about a small world! The partner who sends to me also did a project on Princeton's campus. Sadly my email didn't load all the photos, so I've asked to have them resent to another email. Do you wish to see mine? It's poorly photographed, but I had fun with it.
Response: I will hug Walter for you. I agree he is a cutie, and quite sweet. He mostly keeps me company in my basement craft room. I secretly think he enjoyed the trip.
Response: Happy Birthday as well! I hope you had a great day.
Response: You as well. I would enjoy seeing what you can get done in 6 months too.
Response: My son talks about moving to Las Vegas to jump start his musical career. We'll see. Someday I would enjoy seeing your needlepoint.
Response: I'm pretty excited to see what you do too! I'm confused about when to rate, I have your materials, and hope to send your card out on Monday.
Response: Very cool! I'm glad I found a Clark fact you didn't know about. I guess you've been hearing the news about the statues removal. The Lewis and Clark one may go to the Lewis and Clark Foundation.
Response: You have the evidence I do! 😊
Response: You're welcome, and I don't blame you for staying in. I'm doing the same.
Response: You're welcome! My husband has held onto those quarters forever and suddenly decided to spend them. I'm glad I knew of your collection before they were all gone.
Response: I'm pretty excited too! My husband is planning lots of fun things to do. He learned a co worker lived there for a couple of years and he's getting some great suggestions. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas trip!
Response: Someone sent me a different tea from this company, and they are all so fun!
Response: You're welcome, I hope they make you happy!
Response: Save stamps and make some for yourself. It's fun! I'm glad I found some things to enjoy.
Response: You're very welcome! I thought velvet was back. ;)
Response: Thank you for the kind words.
Response: I should show you my pictures for Crafty Cleanup. It might be a different feeling of passing out. Too much stuff!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I really like the old linen postcards, everything looks more interesting that way.
Response: Do you think you will send any of them? I couldn't.
Response: Thank you! I'm glad I found cards for you to enjoy!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the postcard I made. I've been having fun with stamps a friend has been sending me. You would not believe the number of Sierra Leone stamps of that dictator I have. I thought I had a lot of stamps of Queen Elizabeth, but I think I have more of this man.
Response: You're welcome! I had more fun than I thought I would with this swap. I hope you did too.
Response: I'm so glad you are enjoying it! We were totally nonplussed with it, I tried using it as a nightlight for my son, but it was too bright. We tried it as a hall light at night, but it was too distracting. It is a cool thing, but just didn't fit into our house. I'm glad you have ideas for it, and if not, maybe another swap is in order. I'm waiting to see what I get, I hope it's something fun.
Response: I get them from the White House Historical Society, as a gift incentive to donate. Maybe they offer them for sale.
Response: Awesome! It looks so pretty, it's hard to believe it actually is writing. And then you see Arabic with numbers and you remember we use those. I wish your friend success with Arabic!
Response: Thank you! I'm sorry your son doesn't play anymore, maybe he'll come back to it.
Response: I'm going to start reading the series today!
Response: I used to use a fan, but it dries out my sinuses and is hard to travel with. At home I have a deluxe sound machine, that mimics different sounds, like rain, waves, fans, and other things. I do like the fan noise best.
Response: Prickly Pear are pretty easy to grow, and you can eat the fruits. But don't just pop one into your mouth, Cut it in half and scoop out the inside. The outside is covered in spines. You have gone on some great diving trips!
Response: You're welcome! I hope we can swap again!
Response: You're welcome! I hope we can swap again soon!
Response: You're welcome! Perhaps we will "see" each other here or on Postcrossing.
Response: You're welcome! Glad I found things you enjoy.
Response: My pleasure. Looking forward to more swaps with you.
Response: I appreciate the help. I'm probably going to avoid this type of swap for a while though.
Response: I'm jealous of the scissors, I'm picturing all the stuff I could cut with those. I need to look out the fans my mother-in-law had. Maybe you would want them. No one here is interested and they are just sitting in a box. My daughter made the whale in her brief foray into origami. She is so talented, but can seem to stick with any craft for more than a couple of months. Right now it's terrariums.
Response: I agree! I'm glad you liked it, in spite of the foxxing.
Response: When you said you liked Garbage Pail Kids, I said OH MY GAWD! I have found someone who will appreciate these! They're not for everyone, so I'm glad they have found a new home!
Response: I had such fun finding things for you! I'm glad you enjoyed them!
Response: You're welcome! This was fun! I'm a geek about tea.
