Response: :D I'm so glad you like it!!
Response: oh, I'm so glad you like it! I think it's my first ever... at least, I don't remember doing any before...lol.
Response: oh, i'm so glad you love it! I'm very partial to lotuses myself, so I draw them fairly often. :)
Response: Welcome back! :D
Response: Most of it I drew with inktense pencils, and instead of water, used acrylic satin finish. the waterfall I made a rainbow, covered it in glossy accents, and poured on clear microbeads. i can't remember for sure, but i may have made glossy accent water drops on the stalactites and stalagmites too. I forget. I'm glad you love it!
Response: I'm so glad you love it! I was delighted to get to send to you again :) thank you for the big hugs. I can really use them these days.
Response: Oh, yay! I was so worried the beads would be wrong, or the length, or I had misunderstood what you needed! I'm delighted you love them!
Response: you're very welcome! I can't remember what, but something on your profile made me think you might like to try that :).
Response: I believe that was ultra thick embossing powder (glassy look, right?) I used clear ink, then embossing powder several layers, heating each layer, until it got that thick. oh... pm...lol. I don't mind sharing, so I missed that part...ll.
Response: I'm so happy you love it!!!
Response: I'm very glad you love it! the clear is 2 coats of utee, with clear pigment in between, then stamped into with pigment ink while still melted. I got the idea from berni berlins atc book, but she dry brushed 2 layers of acrylic, then embossed and stamped. I like the look of layers of stamping better. more dimensional, along with the texture :)
Response: If I remember correctly, I colored the background with reinkers. once dry, I stamped the original layer. then I used clear embossing ink to do 2 layers of UTEE. while the second layer was melted, I stamped into it with a stamp inked with pigment ink. I'm very glad you love it!
Response: yay! I'm so happy you love it!
Response: Thank you so very much! I'm very glad you loved it!
Response: You're very welcome!
Response: it was the dragonflies, right? (i really need to keep better track if I keep joining so many senders choice atc swaps...lol). let's see... that one i took glossy card stock, and sprayed it with perfect medium. i dripped dye re-inkers all over it (when i learned of this technique, they used memento, but I don't have that brand. all i had was ancient page and distress, which may have effected the drying time a bit). i sprayed the drops with the perfect medium again, then i sprayed more glossy with perfect medium and smooshed it between it (you can do that a couple times to lighten the colors, and lessen the inks a bit. it's a good idea, because you can't do much with the heat gun. it separates the layers of glossy, and bubbles. you can move it around a bit with the heat gun, but you can't do it very long). let it dry (takes a few days). then i believe i used golden brand acrylic paint from the tube (silver) on the dragonfly stamps, and stamped them on... mind you, I actually made that one for my own collection a couple months ago..it just suited you so well, i had to give it up :) I didn't take a picture, and I'm basically going on memory, but I'm pretty sure that was how I made it... I'm so glad you love it!
Response: Charms? I didn't add any charms...
Response: yay! i'm so happy you love him! :D
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I don't usually send much of a note with my atcs... not required, you know... but I was on a role crafting, and decided to include those. the metal is foil tape from a hardware store. i just tore off pieces, and layered them accrossed appropriately sized cardstock. then i rubbed the excess sticky off the edges (it tends to peel a bit and end up on top, instead of the bottom...and would likely stick to the embossing folder ) then I embossed, and colored with alcohol inks.
Response: you're very welcome!
Response: i'm glad you enjoy it! yes, I did the embossing... foil tape on cardstock, then a cuttlebug embossing folder. much easier than it looks :)
Response: I cut cardstock to the size of a cardfront, then covered it in ripped pieces of foil tape (from a hardware store). then I put it through my cuttlebug with the embossing folder. after that, i used alcohol inks to make the colors, and layered it onto the card. :) it was very fun! the only 2 issues are, it makes the card quite rigid (no big deal), and the foil tape tends to need the sticky rubbed off .. it sometimes gets onto the top of the tape, and would make it stick in the embossing folder otherwise. I'm so glad you loved it!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I had so much fun with this swap... then I saw someone somewhere reccomend that type of embossed card, and thought it would really suit the swap. I didn't end up having the sunshine looking embossing folder, like I had thought, but they still turned out nice, i thought... and when it turned out nice, it needed nice inside too :).
Response: Thank you very much! :)

Response: i'm not very good with making birthday cakes. i did have a layered one like that once growing up though. i think i should have included some kind of candles. the cute little red things are meant to be strawberries, so it's a strawberry birthday/anniversary cake, i think. i honestly very nearly made the swap for cakes, but decided in the end to try to open the theme a bit...lol. i'm glad you like it!
