Comment: Thank you for the postcards Sandy and the little "fortunes" too! I love the Mt. Rushmore and the Royal Mail post box - my husband loves anything London/British so I think he will steal that one! The postcard of the oranges in Scottsdale, AZ is interesting - we have citrus groves here with a mountain that looks JUST LIKE the one in the photo, so at first I thought it was a card from SoCal - ha! I hope all is well with you and that you have a great summer!
Response: Thanks for the kind words, rating and heart. Glad you liked the items I sent. Hope you enjoy your summer. Take care!
Comment: I loved hearing the stories about your Girl Scout adventures!! You had so many fun trips! Our year is slow moving due to Covid but hoping to get into the swing of things more soon!
Alaska was a great pick for me, I went to Alaska with a girls trip mom, gram, and aunt, and always think of fond memories so this was wonderful.
THanks so much

Seasons greetings to you too :)

Comment: Wonderful selection of cards. All new to me and a welcome addition to my stash. I don't remember seeing the Coveleski stadium when in South Bend for N.D. football games. I have been on the Mackinac Bridge, I also saw the Hoover Dam bridge during construction. Amazing how they started on each side and still were able to meet perfectly in the middle.
Thank you! Joy
Comment: Hi Sandy! I received your swap yesterday & normally i rate the same day I get swaps. But yesterday My M.S. was kicking my butt with muscles spasms & couldn't get out of bed. Thank you so much for the PC's you are very kind to send the extra. The love one is very nice and I know you've started collecting them also. The scallop edge ones remind me of when I was a "young one' growing up. The Arlington National Park one is dear to my heart more so these days. Thank you. Are the quilts on the barns real quilts, or painted, do you know? I was surprised and very happy to receive your swap. I like the Huckleberry pancake recipe, but unfortunately, we do not have them here in Australia, so will substitute with blackberries as I think they are the closest berry next to them. Thanks again. :)

Comment: Oh my goodness, what a wonderful package! You are so generous!! It was waiting for me after a tough day so that was a treat. I love all of it. I'm super excited about the stationery, I have a hard time finding any on my own. I really do appreciate all these goodies so very much 💖

Thank you for the 4 postcards and 1 card you sent me for this swap. The postcards will be a great addition to my Postcard Collection. The card will be a nice addition to my Notecard Collection.
Comment: Sandy ~ Thanks so much for the great PCs you chose for this swap -- I love them all but especially the lightning over Kansas. I lived in Kansas as a little girl and I still remember the lightning as being so scary but spectacular. Thanks again for the great PCs and hope to see you again in a future swap ~~
Response: I am so happy you liked them. Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Thanks for the nice cards, Sandy. I especially like the waterfall card--beautiful! For the 2-of-a-kind, you sent 2 of the same card; I sent a card to my partner that had 2 manatees! haha! I must have misinterpreted.
Response: Thanks for the rating and the heart. I didn't think about two of something on the same card for the 2 of a kind.
Comment: Hi Sandy! Yes, we're having another 'unwinter' here in Ohio, too ;+) Thank you so much for the lovely cards you chose for me! My absolute fav is the panda zoo card--so stinkin' cute! I appreciate the lovely envie you create for mailing, too!
Comment: Great PC's - love them ALL including the tiny size PC extras - two of them caught my added attention - Last October we took a New England cruise with my Mom and were in Maine but, I didn't get a Map PC. Then last week I was looking at Glacier National Park to know if we could do a road trip - it's on my list :-)
Comment: Thank you for the great PCs you sent for this swap. The one of Manitou Springs, CO brought back good memories for me from times I've been there. The Matterhorn Peak one is just beautiful. . . and I can always use mapcards for my stash :-) Thanks again for the great selection and hope to see you in more swaps in the future ~~
Comment: Thanks so much for the cards! They are all ones that I don't have and I am happy with the variety. (Hmmm, I think I just incorrectly rated you, and I didn't receive your swap yet. That's what I get for rating a stack of swaps at once. I will change this when your swap arrives!)
Comment: Sandy, thank you for all the great postcards. I am afraid I am bringing in the new year with a case of the flu. I got it even though I got a flu shot. The doctor said it was a different kind than the shot. You just can't win. Your postcards were spectacular. I opened them while waiting for the doctor. What a pleasant surprise. The lighthouses were great as I hadn't had any of those. But the Norman Rockwell couldn't have come as a bigger surprise. My doctor has 3 exam rooms- Red Sox, Lighthouses and Norman Rockwell. He was so happy to get them. They will be forever be hanging on the walls of his exam room. Happy New Year. Shirley
Comment: Hi Sandy!! I love all the cards! The jetoy is my favorite, because I love cats, then Vegas, one of my favorite trips, I saw great shows like lion king, I've never been to New Mexico, or Colorado, Indiana sure has a lot of cows!! Thank you!! â¤ï¸ï¸â¤ï¸ï¸â¤ï¸ï¸â¤ï¸ï¸
Comment: Hi Sandy, thanks a bunch for the great "M" cards....
I love the Queen Mother in her pretty green hat... I wonder which of all those men did you choose for "man"
My favourite of all the cards though was the actual "mill" at Colvin Run Road in Virginia... there can't be very many of those still around.
Thanks again, see you in the mail.
Response: Thanks for the rating and the heart. Glad you liked the cards.
Comment: My mail from Cambodia was finally forwarded today -- I do apologize for the late rating! BUT: in the pile of postcards you sent -- there was a NANCY DREW one. whoohoo! Thankyou so much!
Response: Thank you for the rating and the heart. I am glad you finally got the card. Nancy Drew always was a favorite of mine and still is. I was thrilled a couple years ago when they made a movie. I went to see it and even bought it. Still watch it every so often. Better than a lot of stuff on t v. Thanks again.
Comment: Terrific card, Sandy--thanks very much! I had ancestors who lived somewhere near Goshen in the 1800's and I need to research them some more (never enough time!). Is the Heritage Trail Amish, I presume? Looks lovely! thanks again, Carol
Comment: I've been to Pennsylvania numerous times to visit friends and you are right -- they do have a lot of rest areas along the highways and it seems they are always working on the roads. It is a pretty state and I'm sure you had lots of fun visiting grandparents every summer. Thanks for your memories ~~
Comment: We have a lot of cardinals here too and the males are so vibrant. I especially enjoy seeing them in the colder weather when the BlueJays are also around as they are so vibrant also. Thanks for the great PC. . . love the barn & windmill too.
Comment: What a beautiful postcard of Mississippi! I haven't received many postcards from Mississippi and so this is especially welcomed. Two modes of transportation on one card is a definite bonus for this swap. Thank you!

The kids start school on the 24th and it's very hot here also were under another heat advisory again today. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Thank you
Comment: Loved the beautiful postcard. Peonies have always been a favorite. I am so jealous of your weather. The "feels like" temperatures in Florida are in the 100's right now. You will find me indoors at all times till winter.
Comment: Thank you for the great vintage postage and the hilarious pie-themed historical card -- two of my favorite topics :) It was also fitting because I've been playing the cast recording for Waitress the Musical on repeat! Happy Sunday!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I love train rides; I wish there was more of an opportunity for short trips out of state from where I live, but unfortunately, I live smack dab in the middle of a really big state!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely package of goodies! I love all the stickers and the little envelopes are adorable! As it happens, I visited Mt. Vernon a few years ago, so I will love including the postcard in my scrapbook pages for that trip. Again, thank you for the lovely envelope of "happy mail!"
Comment: Thank you so much for the great PCs. I especially like the night view of Anchorage - night views are always so pretty and usually much prettier than the city actually is! And I really like the Temecula, CA welcome sign - I went there many times when I lived in California - lots of great wineries around there :-) Thanks again and hope to see you in swaps in the future ~~

Sending dry weather vibes your way...We have had rain for a straight week here too!!

To the lonely sea and the sky.
And all I ask is a tall ship

Comment: Thank you so much for the adorable panda card. It is extremely fitting as we are studying the giant pandas of China in the fourth grade class where I work with special needs kids. I brought the card in today to show the kids. They loved it!
Response: Thank you for the rating and the heart. I'm glad you and your students liked it. I have a movie I believe it is a Disney one about Panda's in China that I love. I can't recall the name right now.
Comment: Thank you for the serene card of Amish country! (I did a project on the Amish for a comparative religion class once and enjoyed it.) I hope the weather warms up soon -- although here, warm means above 80 degrees and humid, so I will take what we can get for now (40s-60s). Happy Tuesday!
Comment: Sandy, your cards and note arrived and they are all great. Also, all new to me too. I like your choice of word too - I felt like I got a HUG when I opened the envelop and looked at my cards. Thanks. Chris crispycritter
Comment: Sandy, thank you for the covered bridge postcard. Yes, it does seem simpler in the olden days. We had a covered bridge that was way in the boon docks, don't know why they put it there, but we had a lot of fun playing in it. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the really cool scavenger hunt PC's! I also love the neat postage stamps you used :) I am going to try the recipe for Dutch potato salad! I also love the cardinal card, the bright red makes it such a striking card! Thank you so much!!!

Comment: Cutest little postcard ever! Thank you. Where did you ever find them? I looked everywhere but they are had to come by or at least where I looked :)
Response: Kathy I order my holiday cards--Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas--from Colorful Images. I can get 24 cards for under $10. and if you order more than one set you get them cheaper. I get their catalog but also order online. Check them out. Thanks for the rating and the heart. Have yourself a Merry Christmas!
Comment: ORIGINAL NOV 9: Thank you for the four postcards. I like them, a couple of them a lot. But the swap description says they would have needed to be photographs of real animals. Two of the cards you sent were based on a painting and one had both photos and drawn/painted animals. Someone else could have rated you down for this. Be more careful next time. But I like painted ones too :) Enjoy your week and have a beautiful fall! UPDATE NOV 17: Thank you for the new set of cards, you really didn't need to send them! They're fun and pretty, and I'm keeping the one with seals for myself!
Response: Thank you for pointing this out to me. I am going to re-send. Please just let me know when you get the new cards. Thanks!
Comment: I just found this swap in a pile I was cleaning out, I am so sorry for never rating you! I had stopped swapping for most of last year, which I know is no excuse for not rating you. Better late than never, right? Thanks you so much for the postcards.
Comment: Thank you so much. I love all the papers. I can't wait to start using them. It's great to get some new ones to use. There was alot more then an ounce. Thank you for so many recipe cards and I will definitely try both of the recipes. Your Mom is an inspiration! Many hearts to you!
Response: I am so happy you liked everything. Thanks for the kind words, rating and heart!
Comment: The card just arrived today. I do have 4 cards from Michigan, but this was a new one for me. I don't have any from Indiana yet, so if you want to do a private swap maybe...let me know... ;) Thanks for sending and thanks for joining my swap. :)
Response: Thanks for the rating and the heart. I'd be glad to do a private swap and send you an Indiana map. Please P M me your address.
Comment: Great PC of the University of Arizona! Our temps have cooled here to the mid-80s and I'm hoping our heat and humidity is done for the year! Thanks again for the great PC and try to stay cool ~~
Comment: Thank you for the cards! I love the Fleur de Lis and the Icelander cards the best! I wish it was in the 50's and 60's here... I love summer but am tired of not sleeping due to the heat. I hope all is well with you! Take care.

Comment: Thank you for t his great Alaska card. I have others from Alaska, but not this one. I have a thing for map cards. Hope you are having a nice summer. It is so hot here, can't hardly go outside without feeling like this huge, wet, warm net has fallen over you as soon as you walk out the door. Come on Fall!! LOL
Comment: I love all the postcards and thanks fir the extras. Some of them do not have writing on the front. There seems to be some debate over whether the are touristy or not. I like all the stamps too!
Comment: OH MY! Thank you for the nice cards and extras too!! The black and white cards are my favorite (that's my favorite style of photography too - Ansel Adams fan here!). Thank you so much and I hope your weather improves (we need the rain, so you can send it over here to California!). Take care!
Comment: Thank you very much for delightful horse and buggy postcard! I've read and seen (movies) about the Amish so it was really interesting to receive a postcard from a swapper who lives and sees them on a regular basis.
Response: I'm glad you liked the card. Thanks for the rating and heart.
Comment: Wow, I really hit the jackpot, Sandy! Thanks very much for the many great cards and really nifty stamps. I'm still trying to figure out the index type card with "worry" and "irons in the fire" - do you know what it means? And the stamps--so cool! My fav of them is the one from the Met. Opera in NYC--my aunt sang there in the 1930's! thanks again, Carol in Denver
Response: Thanks for the rating and the heart. I have gotten several of those index type cards in recent swaps and I can't figure then out. Glad you liked the stamps.
Comment: Sandy, I just loved your postcard. Where do you get them done? And to whom do you send them to since it says "National Postcard Day"? Thank you, Shirley
I had a postcard that had that picture on it so I scanned it and then ordered them through Vista print. I added the text. I belong to Postcrossing and also on Facebook I belong to Swap Swamp USA. Both groups are just for trading postcards. So I send a lot of them to friends on those sites. Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Thanks for this PC! I love the gaily decorated horses of New Orleans! I wonder what they think of their fancy hats? We have had an absolutely beautiful week! I love Spring! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: I love this card! If I could give you two hearts, I would. My husband grew up in Indianapolis, but we have not been there in a few year. I asked him to take me to this park the next time we go to Indiana!

Comment: Thank you Sandy for the Art postcard showing an artist's interpretation of the City of Cathay, artwork from the National Palace Museum, Taipei, Taiwan, China. Amazing artwork showing the ancient city with a rocky cliff and trees. Great swap!
Comment: Thank you for the French Quarter postcard, Sandy!! I just had some co-workers come back from Mardi Gras (I might have been a little jealous...), so this was perfectly timed to feed my NOLA needs!
Comment: Hi Sandy. I adore the colorful envelope with the stamps and decorative tape, even your colorful address label. The presentation of the envie, itself, made me happy before I opened it. Thank you for the 4 extra pcs. You chose a great selection of cards. I absolutely love them all. For making this an extra special swap for me you've earned your heart and many more virtual ones. I wish you a stuffed mailbox of many happy swaps and many new s-b friendships to come.
Response: I am so glad you liked everything. Thank you for your kind words. Hope you are staying warm where you are. It is below zero this morning with wind chill even lower. Church was cancelled as we are/were under weather related travel restrictions. I'm so ready for spring and warmer weather1!
Comment: Sandy..What a beautiful postcard!! I'm afraid I will never do much traveling outside the US so this is definitely a PC I do not have. Have you been to Venezia? I too am ready for SPRING...we have close to 2 ft of snow with more in the forecast...trying to stay warm :) ...Charlene
Comment: Hi Sandy ♥ Thank you so much for the lovely multi-view postcard of Indiana! Whoa! I can't even imagine dealing with 14-degree weather! To me 70-degree weather is cold, hahaha! I'm spoiled with good weather living in Hawaii! Hopefully it'll start warming up soon there!

Here it should be getting colder too! It did a little bit but it's getting warmer again. I wonder if we will get a real Winter this year! :)
Comment: Hello Sandy! Thank you for the lovely stamps on your postcard showing Shipshewana. Interesting view of Indiana. Yes, its late summer here in FL. We had a brief cool down for a few days, now temps back up to 88-90F. After a that "taste" of Autumn we are back to late summer again. One could get a suntan! Next "cool down" comes @Tues.

Comment: Hi Sandy, Thanks for the great NJ map card. Sadly, it was bent in half somewhere along the way, But I can still read it and marvel that I made it through there during my trip through the Lower 48 in 2013. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry

Comment: Hello! Who would have thought that South Bend would be such a delightful place! You should work for the Tourist Association because your swap made me put South Bend on list of places I'd like to visit - who KNEW??? :-) Thanks!
Comment: Thank you Sandy for this mountain view of New Jersey, different from usual PC views of the NJ seashores. Have been up to western mountains area of NJ once, to meet a friend who bred, raised & showed Russian Wolfhounds. Picked up our Wolfhound puppy "Alexei" back in 1990. That part of mountain NJ looked down onto a lake. And we saw wild deer. Beautiful part of NJ.

Comment: Thank you so very much for the lovely assortment of postcards, plus the extra. Also I appreciate that you chose the delightful cards from my profile. I love the unusual round barn, which reminds me of a beehive or some indigenous huts, plus the lovely map and scenes. Autumn is my favourite season. Thanks again! :)
Comment: Sandy...Thank you for the beautiful PC of the Indiana Wildflowers....we have pretty much the same flowers here in upstate NY and the golden rod is especially pretty right now (one of my fave colors being bright yellow!!) You are from an area populated with Mennonites that is all I really know about Goshen is that they have a college there :) Have a great week...Charlene
