Comment: I enjoyed the items you sent. Thank you! One thing for future reference though, a note. ;) In the directions it says "Add a note with swap name and who you are." You did write on the envelope so I was able to figure it out. :) Happy future swapping!
Comment: I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to rate, but what a lovely package to come home to! Such an amazing selection of weird and wonderful stationery... and the ink pad is going to be so useful. Thank you :)
Comment: What a super package:), i love everything, the King tea is absolutely new for me, It has been long since i got map magnet so it perfectly fits on my fridge:), I will answer your letter very soon. I got to language school where people from abroad doing TEFL course teach us , they come to Prague for month and some stay here:))
Comment: Thank you for the nice package. I love it when we get real photographs. I've never been to Michigan. Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio but not Michigan. Your trip to India sounds WONDERFUL. I will enjoy the tea and cereal as I like them both. Thanks again.
Comment: Hi Sammantha, thank you for the all stuff. Yes i love to be your penpal. You can write to me a letter. Introduce yourself and tell me about your hobby and everything you like! I will wait and reply your letter 😀
Response: Sounds great! I will send you a letter soon :)
Comment: Thank you so much for a fantastic pocket letter!!! I love all my goodies, am excited to try the tea and what a great idea to wrap up the pocket letter! I wish you a very Happy Birthday!!!! ♡♡♡
Comment: Thank you Samantha! That was such a lovely swap! I particularly love the Dr Seuss bookmark (I will definitely use that one!) and the quote! Thank you also for all the extra goodies! That was so sweet and generous of you! I greatly appreciate it and will certainly put everything to use. And yes, I'd be happy to exchange many more letters with you! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. I like the variety that you gave me. I'm going to handwrite & mail a couple to my niece & mom. I love Keri Smith's ideas, she's a girl like my own heart, so I'm sending that one to my niece. The Pixar Red's Dream will go to my mom who will turn 70 in October! She always wanted to be a clown (which creeped me out), but I know she will love the p.c. She loved watching the Red Skelton show. I personally love the lighthouse p.c., too. ~ Cari
Response: I'm so happy you liked them! I tried to include a variety and I'm glad you can use them!! :)
Comment: Thanks so much for the awesome pocket letter! I'm not sure why it took so long to get to me because the postmark was good on your end but I got it! I really loved everything, thank you so much!
Response: Wow, that did take forever! I wonder why?? I'm glad you liked it though! I had fun making it :)
Comment: Thank you very much for the Alice postcard (it's new for my collection) and other nice postcards that I've even not expected to get:)! You are very thoughtful swapper as you sent the postcards in envelope for me! Thank you again!
Comment: Thanks for the postcards, Samantha! I LOVE the Where's Waldo card (funny!) and the conversation starter - ask me about my shoes. The St. Joseph's Michigan looks lovely; my boyfriend is from WI so who knows? Maybe one day, on a trip to visit his people, we'll manage to make it to MI. You also sent a silly Pixar card- I live 1.2 miles from the Pixar Studio. I have a crush on all things Pixar.
Hope you are well! -Rhonda
Comment: Thank you Samantha for adding to my collection of State Capitols. I have put this postcard of Michigan State Capitol in my blog at:
Comment: Hi Sam! Thank you for the wonderful pocket letter! I really enjoyed it, and to put a photo taken from your door was a good idea! :) I learnt a lot, exp I didn't know that the rose is your national flower! I enjoyed your letter too, I wish a happy, traveller life! :)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard and thanks for letting me be part of the group. I do love postcards. I missed the sentence that asks to tell how we started. My mother and I used to collect postcards and had a large collection of 7-8 albums we made out of 3" binders. My mom passed and my interest did too without her, then there was a fire at my fathers house and I lost all of them. I wish I had them back but I am starting again thanks to all the lovely ladies on swapbot. Now if I could find a source locally that had more than just Texas and Houston. I love them but now I've sent so many I can't remember what I sent to who. I found some lovely 140 lb. paper and it prints beautifully so at least I can still join the ones that say I can make my own. I was using 110 lb. and although they were mailable they just wern't heavy enough to be like a real postcard.
Comment: Thank you! I LOVED the quote and I totally agree! From a pshchologist's perspective (particularly one interested in pediatrics), language greatly affects the way an individual interacts with the world! Ability to understand others and express oneself is so greatly based in language abilities!
Comment: Hi. I love the card you sent and your handwriting is great, too. Yes, I think I read somewhere or heard that the Great Lakes are that big. I love fun facts like that. Your card is on its way to you. Have a great day.
Comment: Thank you - absolutely beautiful - love love the FALL colors. I agree Fall is my favorite. If we get time, we love to travel during September and October. Spring is a close second :-) Take care, Annette
Comment: The sea turtle PC that you sent me made my day! Its oh-so-cute!! I hope you-know-who did not try to create an argument with you today! Maybe you can get your manager to schedule you on his off days. Or immediately walk the opposite direction when he is coming your way. Haha! You don't have to quit your job just cause of this one obnoxious fella. Karma will hit him on the head soon. And for you Sammantha, always look on the bright side (:
Comment: Hi Samantha! Love the pc and thanks for the share - not sure this book would be my cup of tea but I think I might have to give it a try! Have you read "The Keeper"? Is this similar? Hugs, Happy Reading and Swapping! ;)
Comment: I love the cat postcard! The expression of the left cats eyes just made me laugh.
How is your research paper going? What is it on?
Did you get your 10K steps in?
Hope your week was great!
Response: I'm glad you liked the card :) The paper is (almost) finished! It's about the English Only language program in schools and I'm arguing against it and for bilingual education :) I did get my 10k steps in on 5 days out of the week so that's pretty good!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard! Looks like it landed in the wrong po box because it had a note on it - wrong po box but the address for me was correct. :-) At least they sent it back thru to my box and didnt just keep it. :-)
Comment: Thanks for the great Michigan card. I don't like the cold either. Trouble is it gets cold here then warmer for a fews days then cold again. Oh well that is Kansas for you. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Comment: Thanks for the terrific postcard of South Manitou Island in Michigan. It was a part of Michigan that was completely new to me (and I grew up & vacationed all across that mitten)! Learn something new EVERY day, I say. Thanks for helping me accomplish that.
Comment: Thank you so much for such a lovely swap! Thank you for resending it, too, by the way. I enjoyed your letter and the decorations on the envelope. Also, the extra cards are beautiful! I'm so glad you like your job...I love mine, too! :)
Comment: Oh dear :) Finally it is here!!!! Thank you thank you thankk youuu *Im so happy thats why I want to scream!* Lovely owl stickers and very very cute case of BBW. Response: Yay I'm so glad you liked everything!! I know, it was very weird about the hand sanitizer :( I hope you like the lotion though! If you want to do another private swap just send me a message! :)
Comment: Sam, I got your swap item today. Thank you so much! I wasn't even aware there were other US 1$ coins. LOVE the shiny Serbian Dinara. you'll have to excuse me, but i'm a little giddy-silly-excited because it's my first coin swap.
Response: Yay I'm glad you liked it! I think it's awesome to see the different types of coins different countries have :)
Comment: Thank you so much for showing me a glimpse of your little corner of the world. Beautiful place! The morel mushroom is a strange looking thing - sort of like a sea sponge. I would LOVE to see Tahquamenon Falls in real life, I bet it's spectacular! Can one swim there?
Response: I'm so happy you liked the postcards! No, you can't swim there unfortunately, but there are beautiful hiking trails that go around it :)
Comment: "Doing the things you love is essential for happiness and writing in a journal everyday is a good way to keep track of what means the most to you, and how you grow as a person.".... this really spoke to the 'why' I want to journal every day but haven't been able to articulate...Thank you sooooo much!!!!
Comment: Hi Samantha!
Thank you for the nice postcard from Michigan. It looks so peaceful with the footprints on the beach. Your "last wishes" are nice - to be with family and friends and read your favorite books again (which are like friends)
Comment: I loved your card! Thank you for writing so much in it. I hope that you were able to catch up on your Christmas shopping and had lots of fun with your relatives! I love it when I go to Joann Fabrics and wonderful people give extra coupons that they aren't using. I try to do that whenever I can. I'm so glad that you ran into a kind woman during your shopping at the fabric store! Have a wonderful New Year!!
Comment: thanks for the comment!! If your penpal request is still open, I'd really like to get to know you more and start penpalling with you ^,^ Please send me a PM so we can discuss more and share addresses~~
Response: You're very welcome! I am sending you a PM now!
Comment: Thanks so much for your card and message! I love the Christmas carols you mentioned. We used to get to sing Carol of the Bells in high school choir and now I get to direct a choir of girls singing it most years! Strange how things can turn like that! I love the vintage reward stickers! I know my kids will love them too! Merry Christmas.
Response: Wow, it's so great that you direct a choir now :) I have a lot of happy memories from being in choir! Merry Christmas to you!
Comment: Thank you for everything sam!! i am writing you back right after i finish all these ratings! so excited for a new penpal and to hear more about india! i am so jealous! that country just seems so colorful and beautiful.

Response: Aww thank you! I'm so glad you liked the letter :) I can't wait to hear back from you! Take care!
Comment: Hi Neighbor!
Thank you for the nice postcard! I was only through the UP on my honeymoon a long time ago. I always mean to try the ferry across Lake Michigan. Michigan sounds like a beautiful state.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Michigan is a very beautiful state :) Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Thanks for the heart <3
Comment: Thanks for visiting my Flickr page- sorry I forgot the date of the swap and only just realized I didn't have a link to my blog on my profile! I just added it and I'm off to visit your blog right now :)
Response: Not a problem at all! I will check out your blog now! :)
