Swap-Bot Glossary defines an inchie as:
A work of art, similar to an ATC, that is created on a 1″ x 1″ square background. A variety of mediums may be used as a 1″ x 1″ base, e.g. cardstock, wood, glass, shrink plastic. Embellishments are made of paper, glass, wood, plastic, stickers, pictures, or any medium.

I must keep missing pink themed inchie swaps, because I've never done one. =O

I've never made inchies before but everyone won't shut up about them so I'll give it a whirl :) Do people use them as elements in other paper arts like ATCs or cards? Is that disrespectful in some way? A girl sent me a few little sheets of just like printed inchies and I've been using them on ATCs :O

I know there's been a debate on Swap-Bot (and probably other sites if I use my brain) about using someone else's work on your own. Personally, I collect them, so I wouldn't do it. But I have seen some amazing designs on other websites for (greeting) cards that incorporate the use of inchies. I've also seen twinchies with inchies incorporated on them, which also look pretty neat.

I hope that answers your question. lol

It does :) Maybe giving a nod toward the original creator would suffice and make sure people know you're not trying to steal their work. I made loads of inchies tonight for this and another swap, I hope they pass inspection!

Also...do you put your name on the back like an ATC? It's pretty small but I guess I could fit just my name and swapbot ID

Some people do, some don't - I do, but I can write pretty small when I put my mind to it. :)
