Over 50 and Proud Group Swap

November 3, 2011 thru December 3, 2011

We may be over 50 and proud, but we still have some kid in us and like to receive gifts. In honor of Christmas and all that it means to each of us, lets treat the kid in our partners by sending them a nice card, message, and gift. Please keep $3 to $5 range in mind for the gift. You might want to send candy or a drink mix based on your partners profile, but this is not required.

--one partner

--one created Christmas gift wrapped in Christmas paper

--one Christmas card with a cheerful note from you

In this swap you will make your partner one Christmas gift from your favorite craft medium. It can be anything you made yourself from your favorite craft.

suggestions:

--a journal

--a Christmas tote

--book marks and a book cover

--an ornament

--a knitted or croched scraf, or hat, or coasters

--or maybe just a collection of purchased treats in a stocking you made

Use your imaginations, read your partners profiles for ideas and for things you know would make them happy!

I must be in the spirit this year. I never sign up for the gifty type swaps and this is my third one!

I understand that! I never usually make anything from holiday fabrics but this year I can't seem to stop myself! swap-on buddie!

SO can be a book mark that fits in an envelope 4 mailing am i correct. As if that is correct I just might enter this swap and i might be able to sneak a little extra in as well. As i enjoy 2 types of crafts.

I love hand made gifts the best - this will be fun to do!!!

Yes, craftycol a hand made bookmark would be good, but a bookmark and book cover would be perfect! Like you suggested, you might want to spoil your partner by adding some other goodies as well if you don't want to make a bookcover to go with the bookmark. Hand crafted bookmarks can be beautiful works of art, and adding extra goodies to the package will make the package a nice gift for your partner. I hope you enjoy the swap. I'm looking forward to it.
