Description:

I absolutely adore anything with polka dots on it! I have noticed a lot of "dotty" items in the stores lately, so I decided to make a swap starring polka dots!

This is a wishlist swap. Each person will post a list of 10 items they would love to receive. then, your partner will choose FIVE of those items to send to you. But, the items you send out MUST be polka dotted!

Guidlines:
-Please make the itmes on your list relatively low cost. The majority of items should cost $5 or less. It is okay to add one or two more expensive items, but do not expect your partner to send you them!
-Please don't make your list too obscure or brand specific-- try to include items that are relatively easy to get.
-Try to make your partner's package special, by wrapping the items (even if it is just in tissue paper) and by adding a note to them.
-Please be mindful of yur partners likes/dislikes/allergies (which should be listed in their profile).

Remember: Your package must include at least five items, and each item must have polka dots on it. Do not send any dolalr store junk. Only send items you would like to receive yourself!

You must have a rating of at least 4.8 to sign up, with no recent or unexplained no-sends.

Let's have a good swap, everybody!

I did not name 10 things but anything is okay with me.

katyboo 02/19/2008 #

Just to confirm....we are looking at around $5 per item, so total $25 or abouts, before posting. Thanks

TeaNi 02/19/2008 #

wow, really? That much? My understanding was 5 items, each $5 OR less? So I was thinking more in the $15-20 range. Say, you get 2 $5 items, 1 $3 item, and 2 $2 items, what would that be... $17? Not that I'm a swapping legalist or minimalist, by the way. I love to do extras, and usually my problem is reigning myself in and staying within budget. I'm just saying that's not how I interpreted it,and I wouldn't be expecting to receive a package of that amount personally. Could the host weigh in for clarification? I know we definitely all want to keep things fair, I'd hate to see someone spend $25 and get a $10 package in return. Thanks! :)

katyboo 02/20/2008 #

That's why I was checking, it was only when I was looking at items to post I became unclear! Waiting for a reply from host:)

dimanche 02/20/2008 #

there really is no dollar amount, as long as you send five nice items. the items on the lists should be $5 or less each, so the MAX to spend would be $25. you most likely will spend less than that, though.

not every item has to be worth $5, it jsut has to be something on your partner's list.

i hope this clears it up! sorry for not replying sooner.
