Description:

I love to swap postcards, but the cost of International postage keeps me from signing up for as many as I'd like to.

I figure there are others like me, so I'm starting a series.

swap #4 - free card (anything that you got for free - museum, ad, etc)

Must have at least a 4.9, but I will allow newbies (we all need to start getting those 5's).

Oh I agree! Same with me! It's almost scary to think it costs $1.05 for each postcard I sent out this week! It does add up! I'm so glad you are hosting this! Great idea!

I do agree that postage is expensive but I have to tell myself I am purchasing another card for that amount to "break even" lol.. I am in love with some of the amazing postcards you can get internationally and just have to suck it up sometimes =o) Thank you for hosting this swap though.. it is kinda fun to use only .32 cents.. You can send three out for the cost of one =o)

You're welcome LindaRichards.

Yes, inkedwithelegance, I will still do some International, too.

I had to stop doing INT PC swaps just because of the price. Glad to see more US ones!

StarGazer63 05/ 9/2012 #

May we send more than one and can we send them in an envelope or do they need to be postmarked?

blueraven44 05/11/2012 #

I use postcrossing and use only a .32 cent stamp on each card, they make it to where they are supposed to go. Is it just the post office being nice?

digitalmaven 05/11/2012 #

blueraven44: Usually if something you send doesn't have enough postage, it'll get returned to you, or the recipient will have to pay to receive the item. I'm not sure if they do this with postcards though, but it's best to put the right amount of postage, or they might not get there.

Why hasnt this been set up yet for partners? Or do we need to do something different?

grenee143 05/13/2012 #

I can't see who my partner is. I am sorta new at this, am I doing something wrong?

pinkqueen 05/13/2012 #

no, she has not assigned partners yet. Not sure why.

grenee143 05/13/2012 #

Okay. Thanks Pinkqueen

mamajoy 05/14/2012 #

She has not been on since May 4th, and is late on one swap already. I'm afraid we have a coordinator MIA.

mamajoy 05/14/2012 #

I just sent her a pm to remind her. Hope she follows through.

fawnscrafts 05/14/2012 #

I have no choice, I have to drop.

Mamabemus 05/15/2012 #

Sorry I cannot wait for partners any longer and am forced to drop.

grenee143 05/15/2012 #

Can not wait any longer for partners, have to drp ;(. Sorry!

dalbright 05/17/2012 #

@crafts2ndchance I hope you are okay? I am hosting a postcard swap of-like. Please see: Postcard Swap: "Free Style" if you're interested in an active swap.

yencow 05/18/2012 #

I'm unfortunately dropping too. I hope all is okay with you :/

LindaRichards 02/ 5/2013 #

I never received my swap for this. My partner flaked on me. :(
