Description:

This is my first time hosting a swap here. I hope you will enjoy them and many of you sign up.

Handmade envelopes and mail art swaps are very popular here at the moment. For this swap, we will have each one partner and send them five handmade recycled envelopes.

You are to make the envelope from scratch from discarded paper. Please do not use any store-bought envelopes.

As for material, use anything that you can get into your hands. Old newspapers, calendars, take out menues, paper scraps, magazine articles, old book pages, whatever strikes your fancy. Please do not use scrapbook paper. This swap is about recycling what you have. Let's recycle together. :)

You have no idea how to make an envelope?! It's easy. Just unfold a store-bought envelope and trace it on your paper. Cut it out and fold it at the right places. Paste it together and voila, you have your envelope :)

Envelopes must be mailable size, you can include smaller ones as extras if you want to. Please make sure they are not flimsy and will break easily when your partner uses them. :)

Please put effort into them and send something you would like to receive yourself. :) Try to make them beautiful, funky, creative, themed... let your creativity take control. :D

Any group swap, including this one, will be cancelled if at least 5 people don't join.

So please make my first swap a great one and join :) Any member in good standing is more than welcome to join, though, I reserve the right to remove anyone I find will not commit to this swap. :)
