Up with mail art! Up with gnomes! For this swap you will create a piece of mail art for one partner featuring a gnome. Inside the envelope you will include a decorated sheet containing 5 (ahem) TRUE facts about gnomes. There are plenty of gnome illustrations floating around the net and plenty of facts as well. I'm hoping there will be enough interest to lead to another swap--gnome more mail! So....

1 decorated gnome envie for 1 partner containing
1 decorated factoid sheet containing 5 facts about gnomes

Please do not use the Disney Gnomeo & Juliet images--this is meant to be a more classic take on gnomes (if there is such a thing.)

For those unfamiliar with mail art, google images "mail art" and enjoy a feast for the eyes. SO many great examples there for inspiration.

In order to join this swap, you must have completed 10 Type 3 swaps and have a minimum 4.6 rating. I will angel if there are any flakers, so please contact me if that happens. I'll make the swap international because this should be flat mail AND because gnomes did not originate in the US or Canada--gnomes are international!

I have 18 gnomes in my front garden. I have no need for neighborhood watch with my "Guarding" gnomes on duty. Although several cats have went missing.....

I hope it's alright that I like to draw my gnomes slightly more youthful and animated, nothing at all like the mentioned movie, but in my art style. I'm sure my partner won't mind, I just thought I'd mention it in case.
