NOTE: I have changed the swap deadline to Wednesday, May 9th!

I thought this would be a fun idea!! Here we go...

This is an international swap.

You will make 1 ATC for your partner. You do not have to have any special art skills to do this swap. It is for fun and to express yourself!

Below is what you will do, in order! Follow these steps. =) Don't worry about making your ATC look "good"... just go with the steps and see what you come out with!

  1. Take any marker or pen and write a few words about how you are feeling at the moment on your ATC. Just clean language only please :)

  2. Finger paint with two of your favorite colors.. However much you want. Yes, it's ok to paint over what you wrote! But you don't have to. Wait for this to dry! ;)

  3. Take out a magazine or a newspaper. Find a phrase or a few words that you enjoy and that you find inspiring. Glue them onto the ATC, anywhere you want.

  4. Next, do some doodling/drawing..as much as you want.

  5. Pick one and add it to your ATC: a rubber stamping in any color, a picture you like from a magazine/newspaper, or another embellishment... YOUR choice.

Ta da! You are done. Now, put it in an envelope to send to your partner! Make sure you include a note with your user ID and the swap name. The last day to put this in the mail will be Monday, May 7th.

You must have a 4.90 rating to sign up, but NEWBIES (unrated users) ARE ALLOWED! Just be sure your profile is filled out so we know you are committed to swapping!

ATCs are for trading with other people and they are approx. 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the size of a standard playing card. You can write some information on the back of the card - like your name and the date you made the ATC, if you want. That way if it is traded to more than one person, they will know who made it! If you want to see some examples of already made cards, just google ATC. :)

Have FUN and enjoy yourself!
