Description:

This is a super fun type of swap, A STUFFED ENVIE! Newbies are welcome with well filled out profiles (see instructions at the end).

You will have ONE swap partner. You will send your partner an envelope stuffed FULL of all kinds of goodies to match their profile. Remember, the more personal the stuffed envie, the better your chance is to receive a HEART! Minimum size requirement is a #10 (4 1/8" x 9 1/2" or 11.4 x 22.9 cm) size long business envelope but you are welcome to go larger. There is no minimum or maximum number of items to send but it must FILL the envie FULL!

Please send items in colors or styles or types that your partner likes. We all understand that you can't peg a swappers style exactly so please rate honestly on how thoughtful the stuffed envie is and whether it met the swap requirements.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRASH! Do not send items such as candy wrappers, written-on appointment cards (personal business cards are okay), loose memo or post-it scraps (send an entire pad, not just 10 pages or so), extra small useless pieces of paper, tissue paper, or fabric (unless partner states it's okay on their profile), free items received from charities, et cetera.

DO send items from the list below!! If you are unsure of anything, you are welcome to ask me or post your question on the board below.

  • Small flat wood items

  • Notecards, unused (handmade or store bought)

  • Greeting cards (handmade or store bought)

  • Anything else you would like to share that is in good, usable condition :)

Please reinforce your envelope as much as necessary in order to preserve it in the mail, especially if it will be shipped overseas. Some swappers choose to put their items in a large ziploc bag inside the envelope for extra protection.

No flakers please, we are all here to have lots of fun sending & receiving packages via snail mail. PLEASE no recent unexplained 1's or 3's. I will check profiles before the sign-up deadline to ensure this is a successful & fun swap for all. I will angel up if necessary.

Remember this is an INTERNATIONAL swap & have FUN! :D

NEWBIES: To fill out your profile: Select Profile > Select Edit Profile > Select Personal. Here you can fill out pre-defined sections or add your own sections. Add a few DETAILED sentences or several bullet points in each category you choose, letting swappers know who you are, your favorite colors, your favorite crafts and hobbies, items you collect, and most especially your likes and dislikes. Feel free to use current swap-bot member profiles for guidance and ideas. We're all here to help! :) Your profile helps your partner choose items to send that you will like or that you can use. The more personalized a package is, the better the chances of receiving a HEART for your swap! :D

Is this meant to be a bubble envie or a regular flat one? Or is it up to me?

IrishRed 06/12/2012 #

Its up to you but bubble mailers do provide extra protection.

I can't wait to be assigned to a partner for this swap. I am waiting to stuff an envelope with Awesome Stuff! Yes I am new but have no fear. I will not flake. I am an adult, a wife and mom and very trustworthy and I love to share and give to others. :-)
