So I'm from New Jersey, and we have this magazine you may have heard of called "Weird NJ", which basically explores all the oddities of our state. There have been official spin-offs of the magazine for other states, but I know that all states have these weird, creepy, unique things to them---so I want us to share them with each other!!

In this swap, you will send one (or more if you want, but only one is required) object pertaining to something "Weird" in your state. It can be a postcard of a weird structure in your state, a story about a weird experience you've had, or if you're one of those "Weird NJ" spinoff states, you can send an issue of your magazine! Or anything else you see fits this swap :D

Newbies are welcome as long as your profile is well-filled out (I will be checking!).

For California, there's a book "Weird California" that we own. I'll watch for now and look at it for inspiration.

Watching for now, but just wanted to say hi from a fellow Weird NJer! My mom has had a picture of hers printed in one issue, not positive which one but it was the chair gravestone picture.

Watching for now, but Im a die hard weird NJ'r. Being able to go to most of those places before they were torn down makes the best teenage years ever. lol. I even have all the issues and a lot of the other "weird" state books that Mark and Mark wrote. But NJ is the original, and IMO the best. :D lol

Swan-- Awesome! See, I knew there were so many versions <3 What's something weird in CA?

Paradoxikal- I have that one!! I literally just re-read that issue last night o.O lol But hello back! waves XD

Craftyish-- A couple of my friends did a video project on some of the most popular Weird NJ sites, I was so jealous I didn't get to go along to see them XD I want to get the other books as well, they're just so fascinating to me! (Hence, the idea for this swap lol) But yea, definitely. I love NJ and all its weirdness! XD
