Welcome!

The 2012 Olympics are approaching and I thought it would be fun to make a Dotee inspired by the Olympics.

I will make this swap International and I hope we got a lot of overseas friends to join us. I'd love to see what kind of material/fabric is out there for the olympics.

Let's get the basics out of the way.... 3-6" tall dotee, face, tail and hanger. I prefer my dotees shaped in something other than a rectangle. Have some fun, there is no wrong way to make a dotee other than Flaking, and that won't be tolerated. Newbies are welcomed with a well filled out profile. I do check profiles.

Ok, now for the particulars. The olympic inspired dotee, must include the five olympic colors: blue, red, yellow/gold, silver and green and have the year 2012 on it. Not too bad. The rest is up to you.

Do you just make the tail in the five colors and the body in your country color? Do you make a dotee inspired by your favorite sport? That's up to you.

Signups end on July 29th and Dotee must be postal by August 16th. Please sign your dotee. I've been doing this with mine, I write the swap name on the back and date and sign it. Be proud of your dotees, they are little works of art.

Have fun!

PS - any questions please feel free to message me. I do try to check the page daily but something I forget.

I'm not sure if this pic will load or how to include it, but I think it's adorable and a cute idea for a dotee.
