Description:

This idea just popped into my head!

With such an international site like this, I love to explore the culture. Clothing... food... but music is a big part of culture aswell! So, why not start a swap where you can share music from your country :)

Think of the national anthem, a favorite popsong in your language, a song about your city or area, traditional instruments or sounds.

  • This is an electronic swap
  • You'll have 3 partners
  • You'll send 3 songs (youtube, lastfm, you know :P )
  • Please use the BCC option in your email
  • Minimum rating is 4.95 but newbies with a well filled profile are welcome

It's funny when Electronic swaps have such a high rating requirement.

I don't think it's funny at all, it's just as annoying being flaked on an electronic swap. I hate the way a lot of people think "Oh, it's ONLY an email swap, it doesn't matter" - it DOES matter, by clicking yes when you join ANY swap, you are agreeing to the same terms and conditions whether you are sending an email or a package full of expensive goods. If anything, email swaps SHOULD have less flaking, since it is "just" an email.

Thank you @vempire for showing that you want your swap to be a fun and plesant experience for those who join :)

It happened to me before that emails were (very) late. I think, especially with an email swap, it should be simple and easy to send out. I don't like to be the one asking where my email stays! I do offer unrated newbies a chance, but I see no need to lower the standards. If you stick to the rules in every swap, you should have a 5 rating without any problems. If you don't, then I guess you're doing something wrong...

Looking at your response, @Kafekafe you're just annoyed because you don't meet the requirements.

@CraftyLass thank you for your positive back up! I am glad I am not the only one thinking like that! :)

Yes, I happen to not meet the swap's rating requirement. And I also happen to have never flaked on a swap, electronic or not. Well, whatever floats your boat ladies. Enjoy your days. :)

hello ! i'm a newbie here who is in confusion mode . (๑-﹏-๑) May i know how and when will i know the emails of my 3 partners ?

Vempire 08/26/2012 #

Ofcourse you may :) Today is the last day to sign up, so nothing much will happen.

Tomorrow I'll do one last check and make sure the partners can be assigned. You'll notice when you can send when you check your dashbord (it will say Partners Assigned: Yes). In the top right you'll notice a yellow box, with the option See the partners you send to. If you click on that, the (email)adresses of your partners will show. Copy them and email the swap. If you receive an email, then click the option Rate your partners and coordinator and give the proper rating :)

I hope this is clear to you, otherwise, please send me a message :)
